Impossible to get problem resolved. Sent numerous emails, no response other than automated acknowledgement. Rang - on phone an hour, got to position 2 then cut out. This seems to be the normal reading other complaints. Part of order not received, suggested forget it and refund. Still now answer, no response and no refund. What can I do next? Any Ideas? My concern is with quality. I am in the process of remaking a dress ordered from Roman Originals. It is appallingly badly made. Everything including bodice darts is done by overlocking, and the back skirt is 2.5 cm longer than the front skirt. No wonder the side seams were badly puckered and it was never going to hang properly. I have kept the dress because I like the colouring of the fabric but I shall be very wary of ordering anything else from Roman.

I have ordered from Roman in the past with no issues but I won't be ordering again. I ordered two jumpers the same style in different colours. When they arrived they were very over sized and heavy. I immediately sent one back with the paperwork but kept one as it was slightly different wool and not so heavy. After a few days I tried the second one again but decided it was also was too heavy. I printed a digital label and returned it. I had a refund for the first but never the second despite numerous emails and " tickets". I have the proof of tracking and receipt of postage but still no refund!!

I bought a dress that I liked but the pattern matching was awful at the waist so I returned it for an exchange. At this point I had only read the good reviews on their site. I was lucky and I was sent a replacement but that was even worse. By now I had read the reviews on this site and there was only one other dress that I was interested in on Roman’s site but I was nervous of sending it back again as I was sure I would lose my money. Fortunately we have a Roman shop locally and, after checking their stock weekly for the 60days I had the dress before it had to be returned, they actually got the dress in that I was interested in. I had no option to get my money back as they would only give a credit note so I was very lucky to get a dress that I liked. This is a shocking company and I will steer clear of them in the future. I only wish I could block all of their adds that constantly come up on my computer daily. To be honest I think I have been very lucky.

Terrible customer service. All I wanted was another return label as I had lost the original one. No one bothered to answer my message for weeks. Then all I received was a standard template message and no return label or even acknowledgment that my message had even been read or actioned. I replied as my query had not been solved and my ticket was then closed? This happened 4 times. If online items are returned to store a refund is not given just a credit note which is not what I wanted. I sold the item on Terrible terrible service. Most disappointed in the lack of customer care

Sent products back in May 2023. Not happy with refund as they did not refund me in full. Have sent various emails but only had a response to say that they are in process in looking into it. However I then had an email obviously generated by a "bot" to advise that my case is closed. I have responded to inform that it is not so,as I haven't received my full refund. I have just read another review to read that the same that has happened to them. Well this is one way the company can increase their profits by swindling customers from part of their refunds. Will think again about ordering from ROMAN. Such a shame as some of the clothes are very nice.

Ordered a dress for next day delivery from Roman. I knew this dress looked good on me but didn't want to travel 12 miles to collect it so I ordered for the next day.....Don't ever expect next day delivery, it isn't a thing. 4 days later it arrived, still just in time for the wedding I'm attending on 18th August. Have ordered next day delivery before and never got it.

I purchased a blouse in April in store in the Horsham branch but didn’t have time to try it on. It was much too big but when I tried to return it a couple of days later the shop was unexpectedly closed due to staffing issues. I wasn’t able to make a special trip into the town again and so decided to return it by post. I enclosed my receipt and expected to receive a credit voucher in return. It’s now August! I have been pursuing this refund for 4 months. I have had a couple of unsatisfactory email response asking for the identical information but NO refund! Previously I had shopped with the company quite a lot and liked their clothes but on a matter of principle I shall never shop with them again until this issue Is resolved. It’s more than incompetence, I feel cheated.

After waiting nearly three weeks for a refund on two dresses, 14 working days, I rang today and the long queue soon went down very quickly. A very nice lady took my order numbers and processed the refunds immediately. After reading all the bad comments, I was pleasantly surprised

Why don't I get a reply and a refund on my 2 dresses I've returned I've written 2 emails given reference number etc supposed to receive a reply in 2 days of sending mail nothing!!! This is not customer service would not use again .its so unreliable.

The goods supplied were fine but their customer service is abysmal. The first time I contacted them, on the 15th June asking for an invoice was promised a response within 2 days. A reply was finally received on 28th Jun after being on hold for 56 mins on the 'phone to speak to a person. They sent an e-mail giving me another copy of my order. I again replied that I wanted a VAT invoice. No further contact has been received from them

Lovely clothes and good delivery but phone line always engaged, no response to email. Sent an item back -due back £15 - know by tracking they have received it, but don't think (especially after reading other reviews) they will be refunding. I can't afford to lose money like this - WON'T be ordering again which is a shame, but if they are stealing folks money....

Normally I have a high respect for Roman - as far as their products are concerned. However, I have been waiting since April for a refund for an item I returned. They have told me via email that the refund was made on 20 April but nothing has appeared on my bank statement. Are they in financial trouble? Have they paid their phone bill as "outage" problem has been going on for weeks?

Hi Folks, Same as I'm reading with you guys, near to 2 weeks not a peep on a refund, have confirmation of the return being delivered. Makes you wonder if gone into Administration and with that, the customers are last to be paid out. The Creditors will get their wedge first and foremost! Good luck everyone I do live in hope of a resolve!

Really disappointed in the service I have had from Roman recently. After sending numerous emails I finally received an email from them saying my return[ which was delivered back to Roman on 19th May] had been processed, but a week later still no refund. Why does it take so long? Money is taken from my account on the same day when I order goods. Think I will be looking for alternatives to Roman in the future.

Appalling refund policy...unable to return online purchases in their shops so have to return by mail. As with previous reviews, unless chased no acknowledgement of return or refund forthcoming. The only way I have managed to make contact is via Facebook messenger. This was purely by chance, when I left a poor Facebook review. This, however, did provoke a positive response and refund.

As with many other reviews, i am still awaiting a refund from the beginning of May. Phone lines are inoperative, no response to my emails, even tried contacting them via messenger but just got an automated reply! Strangely i have ordered and paid for another item and that has been despatched so it looks like its just returns and tefunds that are affected!! Come on Roman, what is happening? This complete lack of communication for this length of time is totally unacceptable!!

Returned items in April. No reply re e mails untill I sent via PayPal. Over 4 weeks still no refund so have had to claim via PayPal .poor service. Won’t use again still no refund

as with all other posts here I am waiting for refund of an item they have admitted they have received back at warehouse Can't find a phone number and my emails are now not being answered
