“Fantastic quick delivery. I have ordered three times from Roman and am very happy with the service. The only criticism is that on some of the clothing the quality of the fabric hasn’t been that great. However you get what you pay for, I have paid for premium quality clothing else where but the price tag has been astronomical. The long boho dresses from Roman are beautiful.”

“After numerous unsuccessful attempts to get through to customer services on the 'phone and 3 unanswered emails I was beginning to think that I was going to have a problem with Roman. However, I sent them a message via Facebook and within 40 hours I am happy to report that I received my exchanged item. Great service once you can get through.”

“I bought a dress from the Bolton store and was really pleased with it, really good size 12 fit. Went online to see if they did this dress in another colour but they didn't. However I ordered a similar style dress that arrived today and is lovely, same great fit. These are for a cruise and will be perfect. I did order and return another dress that didn't suit me, that was last week. Reading the return info online does say that refund is made less £3.00. This is ok but reviews sound very different! I'll keep an eye on whether this gets into my account.”

“Got off to a bad start as no communication, e mail, phone etc until I mentioned taking to Trading Standards (not what I wanted to do), regarding order. Anyway prompt response when I mentioned TS, order dispatched and now recieved blouse. Really pleased. If Roman had communicated firstly then I wouldn't have needed to mention taking it further. Anyhow I was pleased with the prompt reply and order is what I normally expect from Roman. Just please keep customers in the loop and although not easy, take the time to reply to customers.”

“I order a lot from Roman and overall i am really happy with them. Reading all the reviews and having had to send back items for refunds i suggest using Klarna as the payment option. Choose "Pay in 30 days" which gives you the time to receive, try and send back if not suitable. Once you have sent the items back register the return on the Klarna app. Klarna will mark the payment as on hold and will not take the payment from you. I find that return refunds are taking around a week doing it this way. hope this helps”

“I find Romans sizes in skirts very big . I’m definitely 12-14 the 12s are huge on me had to send it back though the quality is excellent. The returns and delivery are very quick and efficient , a few other companies need to take a lesson from Roman! Thank you .”

“Roman Originals took my order and I paid for it to be delivered to my home address. They emailed me to say it had been delivered to their store nearby. I told them that store had closed down months ago. They then told me to collect from my nearest Argos store, I went and waited while they searched they hadn’t got it. They have now told me to go back to Argos as it is in there and I’m to tell them it’s in a black bag with silver writing on. I’ve told them to send somebody theirselves and deliver it to my house like I paid for. They offer a disgraceful “service””

“I ordered three items online which arrived on time. One top was very small and after reading reviews online seems to be a sizing problem. I returned it to my nearest store, a 35 min drive away, paid for parking and then discovered that I would not get my money back. This fact should be made clear on the front page of the site. It is stealth by another manner. My option now is to pay for postage so I can get my money back. Ordering the clothes has cost me money with nothing to show for it. I would never order from this company again unless they change their policies.”

“I don't know what all the fuss is about. Play them at their own game. I too disagree with their gift card refund policy - it's something you would get in a street market or back in the day! This is the 21st century and they should keep up. However, in the main this will work. If you can get to a shop have a look and try on - decide what you want. Then order online but hunt online for a discount code first. There always seem to these codes that work. I have successfully received free delivery and 20% off a few times now. I think they offer free delivery on over £20.00 anyway. IF you still have to return anything - return it in store to avoid paying the £3.00 return fee. You will obviously only get the discounted amount you paid - it's not a Charity! Then use the Gift card next time you shop online and use a discount code. You will be quids in this way rather than if you use the Gift Card in store without a discount. I shop this way as they don't seem to have discount days in store very often. I also refuse to pay delivery where I can. Simples!”

“Products were bagged and on hangers. Dispatched quite fast for a large retailer. Only downfall was when I ordered I kept ticking free next day delivery and it would always default to standard delivery, which was perfectly fine in the end anyway. Products are lovely as expected. Thanks to Roman, appreciated.”
