Ordered items on 20 April. Returned via tracked parcel which arrived on 1 May. As yet no refund and no answer to my email. Where's my refund Roman Originals? I want my money back!

Terrible customer service made me wait ages for my refund then had the cheek to take off £3 which they said covered postage. Will never order from them again

The exchange system is a shamble takes so long that the item is out of stock when they get round to process the exchange!

I have been a customer of Roman for quite a few years. They have always offered consistently good service and clothing. However, lately, the Customer Service has really dropped to below standard! I have an account which shows my orders but for some reason, my last order on 26th April 2022 is not showing and this is the order I am having an issue with. I ordered 4 items total amount of £105.60 was charged to my C/Card.(they qualified for next day delivery and they did indeed arrive the next day on 27th April). I kept 3 items and returned 1 item the very same day and I have a P.Office receipt. I would have expected my refund by now but no....nothing, not even an acknowledgement of my return. The amount after the £3 charge should be £37. I tried ringing but for the last 3 days the Customer Service phones are suffering a network outage ?????? Really? 3 days, I find this completely unacceptable. However, I emailed the issue as suggested and I'm still waiting. I explained I don't have the 'Order #' as I put the delivery note in with the return. I looked for it on my account but as already mentioned, this particular order which is my last order is just not showing??? Why??? I've had one response to my email so far.....asking me for the order number 🙃 which I've already explained I DON'T HAVE. I did however give full details of the order items, the date, the amount charged etc...surely your people can find the order number. Its not my fault that its not showing on my account. Would somebody please do their job, find out what's gone wrong and refund my £37. Come on Roman, this is well below an acceptable Customer Service level. 😡

Too long to wait for Refunds and an exchange on the dress. Up to 21 days is not acceptable. Not guaranteed tje dress will be in stock in 3 weeks and may be too late for its purpose anyway

Ordered a crossover dress first order I have not shopped with them before it was a size 16, but more like a 12, it was Red.I am a 16 in marks and monsoon, so I know it should have fitted. I am being charged postage to return something that should of fitted, hope I get my money back, watch this space.

Magenta Longline Bardot Hanky Hem Top looked lovely and a flattering shape colour would have been great had it been colour shown much darker more towards a maroon and had to twiddle about with the collar for ages before getting it anything like shown on picture should look and fit as picture another moan is the introduction of curve range I may be big butI do not want to wear a marquee the models do have figures but curve in general makes them look fatter than they are this is not what larger ladies want and a couple of new things in the non curve range do not go up to size 20 are you becoming sizist like the rest of the fashion industry believing larger people do not care about themselves or what they wear well let me tell you they do

Love the clothes, however the returns and correspondence is shocking, had a large order and had to return 3 items, I only got refunded for one so £65 out of pocket. I opened a ticket on two separate occasions with no response plenty of junk mail from them but no response to my tickets. Will only buy there clothes from a store now not direct.

This company doesn’t tell you they are obtains items across the globe and will take weeks to get you items ,even though they lie and send you E-Mails, you order has been shipped. Be there Saturday, and a week later still not here and call company, and ask where the “ Hell”, is my order, And they say oh ,one item is coming from Bangladeshi,and other from C8na. If I would have known where this stuff is shipped from and this long to get I would have canceled my order. I’ll never use them again.

I bought a coatigan in store got it home read the washing instructions it's hand wash i returned it to the store only to be told they don't refund your money , i am 80 and not able to hand wash something that size , i was given a gift card , just about everything i liked is made for someone a lot taller than me , or a couple of jackets i tried on and liked they didn't have my size , so they still have my £45 and the coatigan ,

Very outdated returns procedure. Customer should be able to go to a stand-alone store and get a refund not a gift card , totally ridiculous in 2019 ! What a shame as their clothes are very nice. Also online return is bad as you don’t Pay for delivery but have to pay £3 return postage. Come on Roman get your act together.q

Returned as item and received a gift card. OK not great but then it gets worse. Orders two dresses (a repeat of a prior order as they were so nice). One dress OK but the other dress arrived and was cut a full inch smaller than the original. Phones and complained to customer services. Advised to return and they would not deduct postage. Returned as suggested. Not only did they deduct postage but failed to refund the part of the dress paid by the first card. Just kept the balance of the card with no communication. Put in a complaint - received emails advising response in 24 hours but bothing. Phoned customer service and rude staff member basically brushed off. Told balance would be refunded that day but no apology no nothing and yep, you guessed it no refund either. Emailed again and still no response. Loyal customer now out £12 + £3 postage for return - spend hundreds a year with this store but never again. AVOID

bought 2 pairs navy crinkley trousers with side buttons, first wash, one came out like faded old rag, and second pair, came out all distorted and out of shape! and yes, washed on silk wash! also bought white pair, which i am afraid to wear,and wash!

I like the quality and design of their clothes but the Returns Policy is very unexpected and inflexible - I too was given a gift card to spend in store after I tried to return a top I bought as a birthday gift for my Mum. I did consider ordering on line as I thought their return policy might be less ?? military style but it sounds like the problems persist there too. I have therefore just unsubscribed from their emails too.

My mother and I have shopped in Roman for a few years. Recently she purchased a dress for a wedding. The dress was unsuitable so within a week of purchase tried to return it. Her local store is 30 miles away. When we got to the store they refused to refund her. Their outdated and old fashioned policy is to refund onto a time limited gift card only. What a shame. Once the gift card is used neither of us will be shopping with Roman again. Their outdated policies need to move with the times.
