Refer to order #16049896 The website is super. I ordered a lot of pipe parts and more online. The shipping was free and fast. But the review here is really because whoever packed this box should be given a raise or at least some props because it was so well packed. It contained a lot of very heavy metal pieces and there was so much work put into it. To be honest one small item was missing and I paid for it and don't even want to mention it because everything else was so well done. Super happy with Rona online and will be back soon, for sure. Thank you so much!

Deplorable customer service. I ordered three items online and on confirmation, went to the store at Golden mile (Warden and Comstock) at 5:35pm on the 20th of January to pick it up. After a 10 minute wait, I recieved a bad and invoice with two items. I immediately called the store, spoke to a lady who told me she will check and call back and to wait at the parking lot spot #1. So far - excellent! The lady did call back and told me that I had cancelled the third item. After a short back and forth, she realized the system or a customer service person had cancelled the third item since it was not in stock. Rona had refunded the money already. I requested if they had any alternate item and the lady said she would get someone from the electrical department and to hold on to the call. Now everything goes downhill. After a few minutes, another lady picked up the phone and said "Yes, what do you want". I told her - and after a dozen questions she understood and chided "why didn't you tell me you were waiting for a person". So rude. So unprofessional. She made me feel it was my fault that I had purchased something from Rona. She put me back on hold and after a few minutes, picked up the phone again. On hearing my "hello?", she cut the call. I have had similar incidents with the same person before. She is rude, interruptive and just does not listen. I know her name. Honestly, why should I buy anything from this store?

Five stars for the manager of the paint department at Rona on Princess in Kingston. My paint was changed with no hassle and I love it. Thank you, Rona manager and her crew.

Picked up a snowblower/leaf blower combo. People at store said it didn't come with a leaf blower. Still needed the snowblower so bought it anyway. When I went back to what I thought was an easy price match I was told it didn't qualify but that I should have got a leaf blower, which they ordered. 2 weeks later I called to check on the leaf blower and was told that it was in and it would be ready for pickup when I got there. Drive 20 miles only to be told that it was a snowblower they had not a leaf blower. 3 trips and still no satisfaction. I remember now why I stopped shopping at Rona.

I ordered 2 items online. I was subsequently informed that "one or more of my items was available for pickup. I only had 2 items, 48" LED replacement tubes and a can of spray paint. When I arrived I called in with my order # and the store agent said, "Your LEDs are on back order and should be available in 3-7 days." I said, I NEEDED those LEDs for my shop - the paint was just an add-on. I was then informed that I should check my e-mails for a notice stating that there is a back order. Well...I REVISITED my e-mails including my Spam folder and guess what....I'm still waiting for the LED backorder notice. Further-to-this, I live exactly 22 minutes away - one way! This is totally unacceptable and it was also handled unprofessionally by the store agent. In future, Rona will be my last resort for my reno/building/decorating/hardware needs.

Nobody in parking lot and I'm told my plumbing part is delayed but 48 hours.....employees doing nothing.....screw this place. Prior to that they were a 4 in my books

Purchased new washer and dryer in September when my washer died. Went to Rona, Barrie purchased and advised it would not be in until 2 Jan 21, begrudgingly we purchase. Dec, I call to see if my delivery date has changed. They advised me the washer is in but Dryer not until end Jan now. I said, please bring my washer, I need it and I paid for it. Ok they can deliver early end Dec. Excellent! They call us 4 times to make sure we will be home, yes we are here. They arrive truck at the end of my driveway. We cannot drop it off, why? I ask. You have a little snow in your driveway we may fall. Are you kidding me!! It was just snow blown yesterday and a light dusting of snow on the driveway. He said, "they were suppose to tell you it needs to be totally cleared " I say, who is "they" I have talked to 4 people today and no one told me it needed to be 100% cleared. Well Rona should have. Well I don't think they thought of it when I ordered in September!! Needless to say, I become pretty infuriated to know my washer that I purchased 3 months ago and is fully paid for is sitting on a truck at the end of my drive way and they refuse to take it off. After many calls back and forth with customer service/dispatcher the drivers take it off the truck and leave it at the end of my drive. Thank goodness for my son and hubby being home. Can't wait to see how the delivery of my dryer goes. I feel so sorry for seniors should they not be physically able to get out to clear a dusting of snow.

Brutal. Never order appliances at Rona. Pay up front. Ordered in August for a Sept 9 delivery. They don't let you know it isn't coming ... you send email after email to get a responses. Our fridge doesn't work and we needed it before Thanksgiving. Two weeks later they say November. Comes and goes, again no communication it isn't coming until you send angry emails. Now they say Dec 29th... followed up with an email saying there is a good chance it could be late. Received the matching stove in October. When you order online and this happens they direct you to your local Rona who has nothing to do with it and can't really help you. Of course everyone blames Covid! Well, Covid was here when I ordered in August so why tell me coming in Sept? Worst customer service of any major purchase I have ever made ... and I've made a lot. Rona says ... 'well that's not us it's Appliance Central' and nothing to do with Rona. Ok, well I ordered through Rona, paid Rona, and got a receipt from Rona. They take zero responsibility for it. They have not once initiated a call to let me know the status. They blame the manufacturer for constantly giving them dates they can't honour. Well if you don't mind pissing off people just keep dealing with the same companies. I emailed them and told them to pick up the stove and cancel the whole order and I would get a different brand. No response. To top it off they constantly have the same manufacture featured in their ads, when they can't even get what you purchase! Always preferred Rona to the others ... they don't care... so never again! Others you pay when product ships ...

Terrible customer service. Ordered and paid in full for an available fridge back in September. I've been being told its arriving in a couple days for a month now. No one is actually able to help us and I'm not sure if we will ever get our order. So frustrated and will never shop here again. Please go somewhere else if you are looking for appliances!

We had blinds that needed cut - we had bought them at Lowe’s and we were buying another blind at Rona - the attendant’s name was Brenda and she took our old blinds and shaved the 1/4 inch off and it saved us a trip to Lowe’s - Great customer service.

Had my order that I waited for 4 week sold on em and told I had to wait another month for the next batch to get it. The employee also lied to the manager we were talking to and said I had forgot to pick up part of my order. Kind of hard to pick up an item that isn't in stock. Saskatoon Preston crossing.

I was at the rona erin mills location and received the worst customer service by an older woman with such a bad attitude. I heard another employee call her Tina, but I am not sure if this is her as their were many others at customer service. She came to take over a gentlemen who was helping me with my online order and proceeded to use foul language about my wife and I for merely mentioning the location of our order!! She is grumpy, miserable, and truly created an awful shopping experience for both my wife and I.

I went to one Rona and purchased $1000 of tiles. We had only three cases extra after our renovations. We went to another Rona to return them. But they won’t accept them because they don’t carry those tiles. However, they are able to transfer a light fixture to the Rona which is now closest to my new home. So the truck can bring things from store to store. But they can’t do the same for returns to help customers? Doesn’t make sense. Better customer service is needed. I don’t appreciate stores that do not have customer service all the way through. Not just to make the sale and then stops.

Malheureusement j'aurais dû regarder les appréciations des autres consommateurs avant de placer une commande chez Rona en ligne! Commande passée le 17 octobre 2020, et réception d'une boite complètement défoncée le 26 octobre. Je refuse la livraison dû aux dommages et j'appelle le service à la clientèle... 20 minutes plus tard, on me dit qu'ils ne peuvent pas recommander l'item ni le créditer car ils doivent attendre de le recevoir. Ils me disent d'attendre une semaine et de les rappeler si je n'avais pas eu de nouvelles... Donc j'ai rappelé à toutes les semaines (5 fois, pour un total de 2 heures au téléphone) pour me faire dire que c'est le fournisseur qui devait me rembourser et non Rona! J'attends encore un crédit ou ma commande en date du 4 décembre et j'appelle aujourd'hui pour me faire dire de rappeler dans 7 jours si je n'avais pas mon crédit du fournisseur! Je demande que ce soit RONA qui me rembourse puisque je fais affaire avec eux et non pas leur fournisseurs et on me raccroche au nez (Michael). Je rappelle pour parler au gestionnaire du service à la clientèle et après 15 minutes d'attentes, on me dit qu'ils vont me rappeler dans une semaine! Évitez à tout prix RONA, depuis le rachat de la compagnie par Lowes, service médiocre et prix élevés. J'encouragerai maintenant les vraies entreprises québecoises : CANAC et Patrick Morin. //RONA, votre service est honteux.

3 months ago I ordered 3 items. They kept missing delivery dates to the point that I was calling them everyweek. They would deliver 1 item then lose 2. Deliver the other one and mention then 3rd is still to be delivered by their supplier. 3 months now and I am missing my fridge. Definitely not happy and very poor communication from their customer service. They say they will call back and never call back.

The worse place to shop online and in store. I made an order for 5 items, I had to ask for home delivery because there was no way for the website to give me the address of any of its stores where the item would be found. After making the order, I received emails and emails throughout the day, canceling the items one by one, until the entire order was canceled at the end. Calling customer service was worse ... this has been the worst experience!

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Bought an entire kitchen appliance package. All were delivered except for range. They missed their delivery date-blaming it on the agent before them and then blaming on the contracted delivery company. No one from “customer service” calls back, all seem to have NO CLUE how to operate anything. I’ll never ever buy from Rona again.

Worst customer service ever. Spent at least 15 hours on the phone geting the run around to have them saying they had lost the fridge I had ordered 2 months prior. They don't care as their owners Lowes.

Horrible experience. My first big purchase from Rona, and never again. I ordered 5 interior doors and had them delivered. They showed up a day late and were dropped off at my neighbors. Spoke with the manager and said I would be refunded the delivery charge. Over 2 weeks and still waiting
