Not impressed so far. I live in Glen Innes in northern NSW. For some inexplicable reason your store initially decided to dispatch the order from Victoria. When I saw nothing was happening and emailed you it was decided to send it from Brisbane. Now it has gone south and is in Tamworth. I might get it 2 weeks after ordering it and 5 days after I need it. Not good enough really. You need to get your warehouse system much better organised.

Aramex sent me a “no reply” email today saying that they delivered my parcel and left it in a safe place. Yet my partner was home all day and said no one called/knocked and there is no parcel anywhere to be found in our yard. I realise you are not the transport/delivery company but I am not sure which way to go to find a solution to this problem.

Just go in store. Their online services is terrible on multiple accounts in my experience Their online channels are both disappointing. I could get one of the two required roof rack brackets for my car from them via eBay and the other from the website. I bought the eBay one for about $70 and went to the website to get the other one and realised that I could get them both for $100 - with 'free postage' on orders over $99. ....except it wouldn't give me free postage so I selected the $10, 1 day estimated courier delivery (both items were meant to be in stock for collection in the local Brisbane store) and figured it was too insignificant to cry over. I then went and requested a cancellation on the eBay order 15minutes after I placed the order - which roof racks galore refused the next day and sent out to me regardless - arriving a couple days later (Never mind - I'll just return it to the shop after the other ones arrive) Except that having ordered on the 15th July with 1 day delivery, and having the option for next day click and collect in Brisbane when I did, the direct order (on the $10 one day courier service) was dispatched from Perth and tracking on the 27th July shows it somewhere between Perth and Brisbane with a note form last week to say it was held up in Sydney for 48 hours. But no tracking update or scans since being picked up from Perth. So talk about a hassle just to get hardware to mount the actual racks, half the required brackets and legs (which came through in three different shipments from the eBay order) I'm sure that they will sort everything out in store when I drive the 20 mins to return the $70 eBay brackets, buy them back for $50 along with $50 for the other ones I need and ask for my $10 1 day postage to be refunded ...and that they give me a prepaid return label so I can send back whatever box arrives after it's finished it's winter sight seeing in Sydney.

Thanks for your review. You may have confused our policy and eBay policy/processes. We are unable to recall packages instantly. It can take 2-3 business days for a freight company to locate the package and return back to us. We are always happy to assist with a refund and return. I'm glad this is sorted for you.

Really dissapointed with these Yakima roof racks. 50mm difference between the two aluminium bars ,rear bar extended to full limit just to fit my car. Strength has been compromised. I do not recommend to buy.

I post an honest 1-star review on 7 June 2024 and got email advice it was posted. Yet 10-days later it still does show. I have also been told by the company that the Customer Feedback shows almost instantly. To me this raises concerns for the integrity of the system. The initial review related to the purchase of an item in which they said had free postage. Then after the sale they reneged on the free postage and tried applying a $68 cost. They are still advertising the item with free postage, I believe this is Bait Advertising - "an advertising practice, now illegal in Australia, in which attractive, low-priced goods, few or any of which are actually in stock, are advertised to attract purchasers to a store or selling place" (Google).

I ordered the item on Wednesday and paid for overnight delivery. I live 90km from Adelaide CBD and going on previous experience, overnight means the day after "next day delivery". It did not arrive on Friday. Tracking indicated that it was in transit - last report 18:20. It is a public holiday on Monday so earliest will be Tuesday I hope. This is maybe a criticism of the delivery company and not the supply company. As I haven't recieved the item yet, I can't comment on the quality of the product

We ordered and paid for a product with free deliver and 7-10 days delivery. The next day we received an email to say the delivery would be 3-4 weeks and the freight will cost them $136 and we would have to pay half or change to click and collect. We suggested we could click and collect and incur the time and fuel cost (100kms round trip) but asked if they would compensate us with a discount or store credit for the value we are saving them. They refused. This is unconscionable business practise and we will never use them again.

Part was not sent on time so was no use to me. Couriers please are completley usless as a freight company, lost the parcel for a few days and then just left it in a very public space. Will not be dealing with these guys again.

I bought Thule Freeride 532 Twinpack. and received this message after two days: "your order has come through to us as an “Additional Freight” query in which we have been quoted $100 to have your order shipped. This quote does unfortunately exceed our capacity to offer free shipping in this instance.This cost is reflective of your order being sent from our Queensland warehouse. If you do wish to have your items sent, we will need to request a $100 freight charge from your end." No words! order canceled.

We understand your frustration, Ben. We don't take making this decision lightly and only reach out as a last resort. This freight cost was due to the size and distance required to travel. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our service and hope you may give us another go in the future.

Near enough is not good enough for the delivery of the roof rack. It was left on the side of the driveway 90metres from the house. The driveway is sealed and 5metres wide. With turnaround large enough for long traytop trucks and a crane truck to deliver a 6m container. No security where it was dumped. Del. Service has been the worst experienced

Selected free shippping when i placed order. A few days later asked to cover shipping costs on already placed order, reluctently payed, Have never been proveded with a tracking number or despach confimation.

Package arrived with box completely ripped open due to pathetic loading of package on truck, main platform partially fallen out of box and has some small scratches on it, smaller box containing brackets fallen out of main box and relised when checking condition of rack there is one box containg two pivots is missing. Another box containg two pivots was torn open and has two brackets missing. Very disappointed and I will be contacting Roof Racks Galore to pickup and supply new rack.

It is a part of our Quality Control process that we would only dispatch items that are in saleable condition. This includes the structural integrity of the box. I have looked into your order status and it seems that unfortunately due to a stock error, your order was allocated incorrectly - therefore not prompting for this to be dispatched. I’m sure the product will be great once I receive it.. if I ever receive it. Choosing to partner with a poorly rated freight forwarding agent is not wise. When calling for support I get nothing but we will raise a case and call you back.. but the team at roof racks never do. I’m very disappointed

Thanks for providing this insight Quintin, weve passed along this feedback to the freight company. We try and partner with as many suitable freight companies as possible. It is standard procedure to open a case/raise a query with the freight company to gain insight into the delivery status, ETA and etc. This procedure is mostly timely, however, varies from freight company to freight company and seasonal increase to freight.

I hope the products are okay. This rating is for the delivery service. Star track provide no indication that the parcel is about to arrive. Then, if no one is home, it doesn't get dropped off at the nearest Auspost....it gets taken back to the airport and I had to call them to reschedule. Which was 4 days later! And there's no guarantee that I'll get it on that day either, because they don't provide any ETA other than the 8hr, 9-5 window. So unbelievably poor given the automated notifications that other couriers provide.

I ordered a childs bike seat (Thule Yepp 2 Maxi Black) from this company on sale for $239.20. They advertised Free Shipping with 3 day delivery to Sydney metro. The next day I recieved an email saying that the product is out of stock and will take 2 weeks to deliver AND (this is the kicker)... "your order has come through to us as an “Additional Freight” query in which we have been quoted $73 to have your order shipped. This quote does unfortunately exceed our capacity to offer free shipping in this instance.This cost is reflective of your order being sent from our Queensland warehouse. If you do wish to have your items sent, we will need to request a $73 freight charge from your end." I honestly thought it was a joke initially but they are serious. They take orders advertising free freight and then contact you after asking for money to recieve your order. If it's not a scam it's very close to one. Buyer beware!

I cant say much about the product as I haven't received it yet but your delivery times are ridiculous. Iv ordered products from interstate after ordering my rack and they have turned up, hoping the product quality makes up for this.
