Recently bought Farrow white 5 drawer tall boy chest price £209~95 When it arrived it had brown stains to the sides and one handle missing Roseland offered me £35 to keep it but it was declined, a replacement was ordered and collection of the faulty one organised or so l thought After waiting for the replacement to arrive and the faulty one to be collected a neighbour 3 doors away told me a large box with my name and address on it had been left in another neighbours back garden l went to investigate and there was my replacement unit wet through due to heavy rain we took it home and unpacked it fortunately it was dry despite the packaging being soaked,this unit had the worst fitting drawers imaginable l complained and was told it was how it had been designed and because it wasn’t faulty it would cost me £20 to return it as unsuitable. I had no intention of paying any money to return another faulty piece of furniture after some heated discussion they agreed to return it without cost to me. As we stand at the moment l have 2 boxes to return and am waiting to find out when that will be as the courier XPD only let you know on the day they are coming to collect.

The hall chest I ordered was out of stock, they said they would email when back in stock, I foolishly thought what a good company ! email came, I ordered and paid by return, the this was January, no order delivered, I emailed them, they said it is now on back order, they offered to cancel it, no I want the item, few weeks go by, still no delivery, I open an advertising email, of which they send loads, the item now has been reduced by £6. They had not bothered to tell me or credit the difference, I had to ask for credit, got the credit, they had had my money for 3 months, after several frustrating emails they said it had been dispatched on the 24th March, another lie, paperwork had gone to carrier, it finally tuned up on the 1st April. This company supply some lovely furniture, the 2 items I have purchased I believe come from Vietnam, the furniture is better quality than the company that supply it. Unlikely to use Roseland again.

Hello John Machin, We are sorry you are not happy with us. when the notification wen out of available stock, the lead time would have been 6-8 weeks for them to arrive in Truro and then be despatched for delivery. the notification would have been to let you know they were available to purchase. We apologise if the lead times were not clear. The items did go out of stock due to the number of orders we had fulfilled on standby ready for delivery including yours. The item was collected by the courier on the 25th of March from us and arrived at their main hub on the 28th ready to be transported to the delivery depot. I have used Roseland before and found them excellent. However my recent purchase was disappointing. Waiting six or more weeks and finding that the finished product was of poor quality. I have taken photographs of the imperfections.

Received the furniture a month after I ordered it, little communication on an estimated delivery date, furniture did not come fully assembled as advertised, the furniture does look nice but I would say it's over priced for the value of it

The coffee table on the order is the only item that would have needed some assembley and it does state minimal assemble for this on the website. Your other items ahould have been fully assembled. No notification of delivery until 16/3 when we were told it had gone to carriers. Immediately 'phoned to say we would not be at home for a few days although we understood that if no one at home item would be taken back to depot. This was not the case and furniture remained on the doorstep in full view of passers-by until a neighbour contacted a relative who had to make a special journey to put it into the house. Since returning home we have had Covid and now find that one of the handles is extremely poor being corroded/rusty, and another starting to go the same way. Please replace.

I wasn’t impressed by the quality. The veneer is missing or damaged in places, the framing below the shelves is visible, and the joints in the timber have gaps and are poor. Also, the surface finish isn’t good. I have other other modern oak furniture in the same room and the Roseland unit stands out as not being in the same league as the other units.

The Console table looks good but the drawer had no runners, when opening the drawer it makes a terrible noise of wood scrapping on woodlands

Hello Bernard All our items have drawers made in te traditional way, if the drawer is slightly "sticky" I find that rubbing a plain candle along the bottom & sides seems to work quite well. we are pleased that youlike the item. Kind regards Roseland

Unfortunately there were some issue and delays with the delivery of the product we ordered. When we finally received and unpacked the 2 seater sofa that we had ordered, there were a number of scags in the materials and marks on the seat pads which left us unsatisfied. We are unlikely to order from here again.

Unit was marked and damaged arranged a replacement, 2nd unit arrive damaged. Arranged return and full refund still awaiting refund.

The quality was average - lightweight, and not 100% oak. I worry that the longevity will be limited. Communication was pathetic - the first I knew of the delivery date was a call from the driver 5 minutes before he arrived. It's also worth being careful with the delivery - when they say "kerb-side", they really mean it

The order wasn’t delivered within the timeframe stipulated and the delivery company left the furniture on my front driveway when it did arrive! Was told it would arrive on the Thursday - didn’t come and with no notification it arrived when I was out 2 days later. The furniture itself was poorly put together showing dowling fitments. Roseland dealt promptly with my complaint about the poor quality and gave me 3 options - exchange (after delivery timescale and delivery fiasco I wasn’t keen on this choice), full refund or a discount on the item received. I received a small discount and decided to keep the furniture as it wasn’t visible to visitors and I didn’t want the hassle of dealing with the delivery company again. However, I then discovered the handles to the drawers didn’t fit! My partner sorted it out with a bit of brute force and wood tools but given the price I paid I’m not happy. Will steer clear of ordering from Roseland Furniture in the future.

Very disappointed. We have previously purchased furniture from Roseland and we’re very satisfied with the furniture and service. However, we placed an order for 4 matching items of bedroom furniture in December 2021. We we notified that all items would be delivered in February 2022. However only 3 items were delivered 2 weeks ago and no one at Roseland can locate the 4th item (‘it’s with our courier’) or provide us with an expected delivery date or a replacement item.

Disappointed with the delivery. The item was left outside my front door without alerting me to the fact that it had been left. Fortunately my neighbour noticed this and rang my door bell to let me know of its arrival because some of the plastic outer covering was slightly damaged and it was raining heavily. Thus leaving the item vulnerable to water damage. Pam Copas

Communication leaves a lot to be desired. Also despite my furniture being in a local couriers depot on the Friday, it was not delivered to me until the following Tuesday, with no notice

Colour was nothing like described. I even went to Farrow & Ball shop to get sample match to ensure it matched my other one. It didn’t even match sample described. No notification of delivery date. Came home to find it dumped at front porch in middle of storm Eunice! Had to wait till neighbour was home to lift into house as too heavy for 1 person.

Really impressed how the items were packaged but unfortunately although ordered together (Surrey large chest of drawers and two bedside tables) they did not match, I contacted customer services and provided pictures, they couldn't guarantee any replacements would match so if I wished to return items I could but would have to pay, which as it is not my fault I believe I shouldn't have to pay, I asked if they could discount the bedside tables, which would allow me money towards purchasing two more bedside tables, but they said no, so I will not be making any further purchases.

Hello Peter Fallows Thank you for the feedback, the items you have are from the same range, there are variations in the wood colourings/graining / natural marks on natural wood, so this may look as they do not match. We do charge a returns fee for items that are returned when there is nothing wrong with them. What we cannot guarantee is the variation in the wood colouration or graining or natural marks. The furniture itself is fine for the price, which was relatively inexpensive. The courier that you use in Glasgow is dreadful. They dump furniture outside the house in all weathers, take a photo and run, literally, to the van to leave as fast as possible. They appear to steal items and they lie about deliveries. Also, your customer service, whilst prompt to reply, is bonkers since you have a different person answer each email, and multiple people getting involved which makes things as clear as mud. I won't be using Roseland Furniture again.

I purchased a furniture item on the 16th of November with a 4 to 6 week delivery timescale. I finally cancelled the order this week 12 weeks after purchase as I had to wait potentially another 10 days. All members of staff were polite when I contacted. However, the lack of ability to update with clarity on delivery timescales is extremely poor and to be honest I lost the will. Sadly would not recommend.
