I ordered two identical Cornish bedside tables from Roseland recently, and was not happy at all when they arrived. Not only are they of poor quality, they, both, were damaged in several places. This is not what I expected. I contacted Roseland, and my preferred option would have been to get a partial refund, which would be take the amount of damage in to consideration. However, they only offered me 25% off each table. This does not justify the level of damage and inconvenience caused. If they were to have a sale, I am sure they would apply a 50% discount on non damaged items. I have no alternative but to return these tables.

It stated fully assembled handles were left screwed to inside and no brackets to screw to the wall. Did not follow delivery instructions. Am returning will never use again.

I bought a sun lounger from this company but wish I'd taken more notice of the bad reviews. The sun lounger it's self is good but the cushion provided is awful. It's specified as 'shower-resistant' meaning you would assume it could be left outside during the day and if there was light rain, it would be fine. Not the case. After a brief heavy shower, I went to get the cushion in to dry it off as per instruction. The wood stain leaked onto the cushion leaving brown marks all over it which won't come out. The cushion also took days to dry as the water had soaked right through to the foam. There was no hint of shower-proofing. After contacting customer services to complain, I was told it was my fault for leaving it out in the rain and they wouldn't do anything, despite them claiming some water resistance on the advert. Helpfully, the link to the item on their website was also gone so I wasn't even able to check their advert claims. Perhaps I should be able to predict the weather to the minute and rush in and out to bring the cushion inside? The customer service was very poor, washing their hands of any responsibility and blaming either me or the manufacturer for a substandard piece of furniture. Pathetic, in my opinion, and won't be going anywhere near this company again, I'd suggest you didn't either.

Terrible company - do not buy from here! Items may be cheap, but quality is awful. Thin and flimsy, and all 4 items and then their replacements arrived with some form of damage. One completely broken and all others with noticable cracks / dents etc. Customer service is also pretty disappointing. Replies to emails are rather slow, agents on the phone are rather rude telling me it’s unusual for all items to be damaged (insinuating it’s maybe just 1 or 2). Refused to help organise the replacement to be delivered at the same time as collecting the damaged items. Kept getting evening slots I had to decline (despite clearly asking in comments for day time delivery). Second set came and once badly damaged and so refused delivery to send it back. Genuinely, the ikea furniture I was replacing this with is better quality! Moral of the story - you aren’t getting a bargain, its quality / service is just awful!! You get what you pay for and will be buying good quality elsewhere

The journey that commenced as a hopeful investment opportunity took a sharp turn towards devastation, resulting in a loss of $97,100. Discovering that I had fallen victim to a scam left me grappling with a mix of emotions - embarrassment, anger, and a sense of uncertainty regarding my next course of action. Amidst my quest for a remedy, I stumbled upon RANGEPRO.ORG, a company that initially gave me pause. Their professionalism, however, shone through brightly. Right from the start, their team treated me respectfully, articulated the recovery process in a transparent manner, and steered clear of making any grandiose pledges. Their consistent communication and efforts to keep me informed throughout the process were a reassuring presence. To my pleasant surprise, their endeavors bore fruit by successfully recovering a sizable portion of the funds I had previously deemed lost forever.

I cannot emphasise enough that this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The customer service is shockingly bad. I ordered a bookcase from them years ago and had issues with the item being damaged, requiring a return. After a bad experience of customer service at that time, I decided I wouldn’t order from them again. However, we recently found a sideboard we liked online and I hadn’t connected that it was the same company. After placing an online order, I searched for the order confirmation in my email. I then realised that this was the same company we’d had a bad experience with beforehand. I therefore emailed prior to shipping, asking them to be extra diligent with quality control, checking the item thoroughly before sending. Despite this, I then received THREE damaged items. For each faulty item, we had to be home for collection and delivery which required us to change our work schedules and even take a day of annual leave. I can’t believe Roseland sent us poor quality items three times in a row. We kept a slightly damaged item in the end (best of a bad bunch). I asked for a partial refund for the inconvenience but Roseland refused and seemed uninterested in our complaint and poor customer experience. I can now say, truly, we’ll NEVER order from Roseland again.

Terrible quality bed shipped from Asia which was snapped in half on arrival and made of terrible quality MDF. Really bad customer service and refund procedure, they don't take any responsibility, apologise, acknowledge the inconvenience etc. I've wasted hours of my time trying to contact them to be told to wait for a call back and then told they won't speak to customers as they like everything in writing. No was of escalating complaints. The manager is rude and dismissive. Steer clear - there are better budget furniture places, and they are proud to be Cornish and local but their furniture is all made in Vietnam or China - the delivery timescale gave that away initially but then the "quality control" labels confirmed it

One of their products has broken during its guarantee period and injured my 17 month old son. I've asked for a replacement or refund and Roseland are putting barriers in the way of this being provided.

I have only ever given good reviews before (see my profile), but this is the first time ever I am compelled to write something about the bad service I received from Roseland recently. I had bought the below sofa from Roseland, listed as £1229.95. A week later I had found the same sofa for £870 on a competitors website (you can tell its the same as the photo shows the same painting hanging on the wall behind the sofa). These prices were both discounted from the RRP of approx. £1400 (which only became aware to me upon several communications with them). Anyway as the sofa had not been delivered yet, I contacted Roseland to ask for a refund. They told me it will cost £150 deduction as per their T&C even though it hadn't been delivered to me yet but was out with the courier. I am ok with paying a fee, this is not the issue, but £150 is excessive and struggle to understand why for a very small corner sofa (the dimensions of which are smaller than normal 3 seaters) that it costs so much when it hadn't even been delivered yet. I did mention to them that we are saving costs because it hasn't yet been delivered to me, but they didn't care with their responses and stated same price if it was delivered anyway and then returned... I know madness of it. Anyway having mentioned to them I found it for cheaper, they offer no other excuse of why they think its acceptable to have a difference of 40% compared to their competitor. They are happy with trying to extract as much money out of their customers as possible. I really wish I never read these reviews before buying their item as felt I was in safe hands, but I guess when everything goes smoothly all is great, but when things go wrong then you see the their true colours. It is a real shame as I liked a few other items on their website, but will definitely do my research going forward because 40% differential is just extreme, I can understand a price difference for a lesser percentage but this is so ridiculous and to offer no consideration to me is really disgusting. I would have still been happy to purchase from them, had there been some compromise, even if I had still spent more in the end with them, but this was immediately shut down by them. I hope they see this as constructive criticism but I doubt it given the business acumen they have already shown me.

Awful company. They state that they will deliver within 1-3 days. What they don't tell you is that this might be at 5am in the morning. Apparently they think that it is perfectly reasonable to expect you to be up at 4.30 am and to wake your neighbours by knocking on your terraced door at 5am. Their customer service is abysmal once they have your money. They obviously can't organise their deliveries better. Avoid and go elsewhere is my advice. I wish I had.

Bought 2 item 6 years ago. I contact CS about the colour i ordered. They confirmed,I ordered a new unit. The colour was not the same. They blamed me for mismatch due to my units fading- my units were darker than the new one! - my choices, keep unit or return it which I had to pay 50 quid! Items are made in Vietnam and not the best but the worst CS. Do not buy just in case of a problem and you have to deal with CS. Also search for a colour like London oak on their website and you will see different colours on the pics even though it's the same colour name! Unprofessional.

Appalling Product and Customer Service. By far the worst customer experience I have ever received and has now left me out of pocket with an item that I did not wish to purchase. I originally bought two sofas from the company that went into storage (in its full packaging that it arrived in) before moving into my new home. Once in my new home we noticed a rip in the sofa in which the company accused of us doing ourselves (very similar to other negative reviews about this company). Again similarly to other reviews we spent months and months chasing this up and eventually someone came out to review the sofa (I must note our sofa was slightly out of warrantee due to being in storage) the company advised as a gesture of good will they will replace the sofa cushions and to expect them within two weeks. This two weeks went on a further few months in which the company eventually advised the manufacturer had went bust and they can either refund or replace the sofa. Because we already had a matching sofa we opted for the replacement sofa in which I throughly checked with them that this would be the exact same sofa in terms of specifications etc in which I was told yes it was just a 'better material'. Again we were told to expect the sofa within a given time frame which continued to get pushed back and back and back, eventually upon arrival of this new sofa months later it was completely different specifications. The name of the product remained the same however it was much, much smaller. This has left me with mismatched furniture and had the change in dimensions been highlighted at the time, as it should have been, I would not have accepted their offer as resolution to this matter. It is their "gesture of good will” has left me in a completely unacceptable position. When I flagged this with the company they have told me there is nothing they can do about this and they feel as though they have satisfied my needs as it was through a gesture of good will and refuse to do anything further. I feel totally swindled by this company and their lack of care for their customers. This issue has been raised with their CEO Tristan Lynch who also has shown no sign of care for his customers and taken over a month at a time to get a response. The company are happy to take your money but not satisfy customer needs, it's pure greed and to pass this off as a 'gesture of good will' when leaving me with a completely different product by giving my false information is disgraceful. I would advise to spend your money else where as this issue has been ongoing for over a year and still no further forward.

I ordered two bedside tables via their website and they were both delivered damaged. I provided Roseland with photos of the damaged items and they offered a replacement. They were very quick to pick up the damaged items but only delivered one of the replacement items the following week. And for a period of one week, they kept saying the second item would be delivered 'tomorrow' but it never happened. They kept blaming DPD but DPD assured me that Roseland had only requested one replacement. I raised a complaint and they agreed to issue a refund but no consideration was given to the distress and inconvenience caused to me such as having to re-pack the damaged items, stay home waiting for them to pick them up, make myself available again on a different day only for them to deliver one replacement item and then stay at home again for them to pick up the single item they delivered. Despite spending time detailing my complaint and the unnecessary stress and inconvenience they caused me, Lesley refused to consider any compensation for that. Her responses to my complaint showed a complete lack of care and understanding. Items shouldn’t be delivered damaged, so the mere fact that they were causes unnecessary distress and inconvenience because the consumer has to go through efforts which are above and beyond what’s expected from a typical purchase in order to put things right but they didn’t seem to be able to grasp this concept. Worryingly, Lesley also confirmed that Roseland aren’t part of the Furniture Ombudsman so there’s no dispute resolution scheme consumers can go to have recourse to justice. I won’t be purchasing from Roseland ever again and instead I’ll use a furniture shop that is part of a dispute resolution scheme so that in case something goes wrong I can be treated fairly and compensated appropriately.

My furniture never arrived. I have contacted customer services over ten times by phone and email and I have been told it has been lost and reordered, three times. This is a disgrace. Theft, in fact. Will be contacting a selection of consumer whatchdog programmes to explore whether this issue is endemic with this company and if you are taking money from other people without delivering. It will soon be the end of the summer with no sign of the summer furniture. What a shame.

Ordered furniture set 19/07. Site says delivery 3 to 5 days … received 27/07. It was delivered by guys who didn’t seem to care that one of the boxes was falling apart and continued to squeeze through garden gate. All 6 chairs were damaged and the table. 3 of the chairs looked like they had literally been thrown around! Roseland a response was very matter of fact. 10% discount was offered if wanted to keep and that’s it … a total insult. Then we had to arrange collection and I had to pack up and label all furniture in good order. Collected and refund finally landed 09/08. Service overall awful.

Dear Mark, We are sorry to see this has happened, we apologise that we did not meet expectations. We do not expect our items to arrive in this manner. Our initial response is to offer a partial refund o keep items. However, we do have several options if you are not happy with the initial offer. We can see that a request was made to return and have a refund. We apologise if you felt insulted by the initial offer, this was not our intention. Kind regards Roseland

Easy to order on line but I've had to call 6 times to chase my order up. Each call was a different csa who were all very nice , but no one emailed me or called me bk to update me as promised . I've had to chase my own order from the delivery company myself . I actually believe if I hadn't I still would be waiting on my order !! .... As it turns out my order will be arriving tomorrow , too late now so I will be cancelling it... Wish I'd stuck to Amazon Prime .at least I'd know it would be on time . Definitely won't be buying from this company again . Hopefully as all calls are recorded they can improve on thier service

You need to use a different delivery company- they arrived in a battered white dirty van, very unprofessional- screeched to a halt, didn’t speak more or less chucked furniture in the hall and sped away. Also quality of furniture very poor- arrived with scratches, dents and uneven bumpy wood used
