Don't buy from them! All furniture is shipped in from Vietnam with sub standard packaging. I bought white painted bedroom furniture, many yellow marks due to not sealing wood knots. Wooden feet with splits in the wood, dents and chips in the wood with warped wood. Told customer services and I was offered £100 back or I was to repackage and send back which wasn't an option. I asked them to cover the cost of the Farrow and Ball small Paint pot at £29 for the touch ups to the furniture. I was told the £100 offered was for me to use to get the furniture repairs, take it or leave it and send back. Appalling customer service and poorly made furniture, don't buy from them.

I tried to buy some furniture from you. On the day of my order you emailed that it had been dispatched and you took my payment. After 6 days waiting I messaged you to ask when it would be delivered. You failed to give me a delivery date. I tried again the next day and you again failed to give me a delivery date. I phoned you and the person on the phone was unable to give me a delivery date. She offered to cancel the order. I explained that as I was about to go on holiday, I would reluctantly have to request the cancellation. She agreed to cancel it. Since then I have heard nothing from your company. No apology and more importantly, no refund of my payment. I am not impressed by your non existent Customer Service. In fact I have been incredibly saddened by the whole experience. Please sort yourselves out. David Parson

Hello David Parsons, We do apologise that we did not meet your expectations. We cannot give a delivery date from the office, the courier we use contacts the customer to arrange this with them. We can give you an estimate of expected delivery and I am sorry that this did not take place. It is unfortunate this caused the order to be cancelled. We have refunded you for the item. I received my second delivery of the Cheltenham blue sideboard. The first was returned for damage. The second is also damaged. Customer service was very good however and quickly sorted for me. I’m left with a problem though as don’t want to return again. Its such a shame as it’s a beautiful piece.

Ordered bed 13/06, stated 3-5 days delivery. Contacted Roseland 22/06 as still no delivery date. Customer service investigated, item lost in delivery depot. Agreed to order another and to use different carrier. Was promised item to be delivered by 30/06. No further communication, via email/phone confirming this. Contacted Roseland 28/06 as heard nothing. Customer service very poor. Basically said they had done what they said they would do and could do no more. Not even an apology and very much ‘I dont care’ attitude. Very disappointed as wanted to buy local and initial contact in store had been good Unable to review actual item as we have never received it.

Really poor so far. Delivery stated 3-5 working days and I have still not received my item over 2 weeks later despite it saying it was despatched nearly 2 weeks ago.

Very poor customer service. Won't be buying from roseland again. Misleading photos of oak sheves and poor quality hardboard used for shelving.

Order a blanket box online. The quality was terrible and it was damaged upon arrival. I contacted Roseland who over me £25 off to keep the item or a return. I opted to return and bought a better quality item from somewhere else.

Absolutely awful. 4 weeks from ordering a bed stated 3-5 days delivery time window, we still only have half a bed (one box arrived the other got lost). This was actually the third time the bed got sent out as one of them got damaged and the other who knows, The customer service team do not help at all especially Becky who seems to turn it all around on the customer and make it suddenly my fault for not reporting it sooner when I’ve been calling & emailing daily for the past 4 weeks. I would never use this company again and advise you to stay well clear. We haven’t even got our full product yet so no idea on the quality of the furniture yet but we’re not hopeful

They sent me the wrong size mattress I wanted small double, label said small double but mattress was a double. On trying to return the mattress they wanted photos of mattress label inside and outside wrapper when I did this they then requested proof of photo with tape measure showing size of mattress. When I explained that I had re wrapped the mattress so could not send this photo they said they would be taking £40 off my refund when the area was there end as I’m sending me an incorrect item. Not sure if you have ever tried re wrapping a mattress but it is not easy defo not happy to do this twice. The error clearly is from them sending a wrong size labelled mattress so why am I being charged £40 to be collected. Will not recommend this company or ever buy again. 2 weeks later I am still waiting a collection date and a refund minus £40 is a joke company. Stay clear customer service is disgusting

As per the terms and conditions on our website, there is a returns fee for returning any opened mattresses and we are very sorry if this was missed at the point of ordering. We can also see that the courier has been in touch regarding the collection and that this was declined by yourself. We have now contacted them again to rebook this as soon as possible for you. I ordered a sideboard two weeks ago. It was dispatched impressively quickly (same day), but has still not arrived. I contacted Roseland to ask about this and 4 working days later I am still waiting for a reply.

I received the nesting table showing some scratches and imperfections. I wrote back twice to the customer service to ask how to deal with the defects and never received a response. I would always like to support these independent trades, although they should step up their game in terms of customer service if they want to receive referrals and repeated business. As things stand I would not go back to them and would not recommend them.

Ordered 6 items and 3 were damaged. Had replacements sent but two were Damaged. They sent replacements but took Many emails to get them to take away the damaged items. Stick to other well Known oak furniture stores in the future like I have done in the past

Item just dumped by courier, no contact whatsoever. Furniture is shoddy. Trying to return for refund proving difficult. It seems you have no control over courier even though presumably they are your representative. Would not purchase from you again or recommend you to others. Very sorry state of affairs.

Table is 12 days late. Every excuse from the delivery company, from trying to deliver to the wrong address, to breaking down on the way to delivery. About to cancel my purchase if it doesn’t arrive by Tuesday

I recently purchased a console unit and waited 6 weeks for its arrival. On arrival it was damaged and due to monetary value offered by Roaeland furniture I was unwilling to accept to keep unit as the damage was to the front leg and noticeable. I was then offered an exchange and received a replacement which was done timely and new unit was undamaged. I arranged collection of the damaged unit as per instructions and although I did receive notification on the day this was going ahead with a 2 hour time slot and then notification my collection was next, no one arrived with from 1300 that day being totally ruined. I made attempts to contact the courier used by Roseland furniture, to discover that was virtually impossible. I have then had to contact Roseland furniture direct to have them re arranged this. When this was re arranged by Roseland furniture it was 15 days after the original collection date…with a Roseland furniture informing me that even this date was not a guarantee… This is still ongoing and to date the damaged item has been in my house for almost 3 weeks. I can barely move in my hallway because of this. The order of 1 unit so far has meant I have now had 4 days of disruptions and after complaining to Roseland furniture they seem to think that saying sorry makes this all ok. It definitely does not. Please be aware should you consider purchasing anything from Roseland furniture. As after this experience I certainly won’t be again.

Sorry to say a disastrous experience. I ordered , courier attempted to deliver 3 days late and then aborted the delivery. Without any discussion, one week after order placement Rosedale unilaterally cancel order and issue refund because “courier is unable to deliver to my address”. No apology with this advice ,just an explanation that XPD have no suitable vehicles . Five days later ,while I am out furniture is actually delivered. Clearly not so impossible after all. I now have to coordinate with inept courier for return of goods. Fortunately I find alternate source for same furniture £40 cheaper and delivered in two days with no need for tractors or 4x4 vehicles. A very poor reflection on Rosedale and XPD and extremely negative attitude to customer service from all, but at least it helped me to find a reliable supplier.
