“I placed my order and got an email saying delivery within 4 to 6 weeks, they took the full payment when I placed my order, after 6 weeks of hearing nothing from roseland and their website now saying delivery within 1 to 3 working days I emailed them to see where my order was, within half an hour I got an email saying my order had been dispatched, but have not had a reply to my email explaining where my order was. My item was then delivered within a couple of days. Still not had a reply to my email, poor customer service, when my item did arrive some assembly was needed and a poor finish in places and poor quality materials”

Hello, Some of our items were taking this time to get to us in Truro ready for delivery. I can see you have had 2 items from us both with a long lead time. I am sorry but I cannot see an email from you from the email address we have for you about the above mentioned. We do have a notification of a 5* review on another platform. “Had to contact customer support services to ask when my delivery would be. They were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, had to return my product which was smaller internally than described. (Ottoman). Bought on line but returned to the local shop which saved on return fee of £20.00.”

“Always impressed with the quality of the furniture. It comes already assembled and the lengths they go to to make sure it doesn't get damaged is impressive. There is no way it would get damaged. Thank you for always being consistent and for everything else.”

“The furniture was of good quality but there were relevant pages missing from the leaflet to put it together and luckily I paid someone to put it together who was used to putting flat packs together.”

“I bought a hall cupboard from this company as their furniture is well built and not flat pack. I had previously bought a coffee table from them a couple of years ago, which I was pleased with and the new cupboard didn't dissapoint. Both pieces of furniture are of great quality, well made, well worth the money and look really good. The service provided, from order to delivery, is second to none. I can't fault them in any way.”

“Had nothing but trouble with this company from start to finish. The courier service they use only operates Mon to Fri and they can only contact them by email, hence when my order wasn't delivered on time even though the tracking said it had been delivered it took ages to sort out. I cancelled the order and then 2 days later it arrived, I decided to keep it as the thought of going through all that process again was just too much.”

Our main contact with them is through email, this is so when communications are sent we have in writing any notes /agreements in writing. We can call them but most times it takes up to 30 minutes to get through as they do not just deliver for Roseland. Email is more efficient for us to make contact. “I previously brought a sideboard from Roseland furniture many years ago and the quality seemed good. When I did my initial research for that I got the impression that Roseland was a local furniture maker who produced the furniture themselves, but I must have got that wrong.. We recently brought a chest of bedroom draws from them and I have been somewhat underwhelmed. Maybe my expectations were too high for the price we paid. The chest of draws looks good from the front but parts of the back legs have not been painted and if you look inside you can see where some of the wood has split during assembly. Additionally, the draws are not on metal runners and are not an overly precise fit so the gaps around the draws are uneven depending on how the draw ends up after you open/close them. Not a huge deal but when ikea can provide better fitting and aligning draws for less cost I found this to be a disappointment. After having studied the furniture a bit more and noting that it’s actually made in Vietnam I realised that other stores, appear to stock as Dunelm seem to stock furniture made by the same people so quality wise you’re not getting anything better than you’d get at Dunelm. When we ordered the was a 4-6 week wait for the product which turned out to be relatively accurate. I emailed customer service about 4 weeks in asking if they had any more fine grained eta but they weren’t that helpful and couldn’t provide any additional details. Overall I’m reasonably happy with our purchase - it looks good from the angles that matter and works well enough apart from the OCD triggering draw misalignment and the price was “ok. I just think my expectations were probably a bit high to begin with.”
