“Plagued by delivery problems, first courier Tuffnells gave me a few hours notice that they were arriving that day (emailed me at 6am to say delivery would be between 08:45 and 10:45) and their emails say that I must be home to sign for it. I arranged with Roseland to contact Tuffnells to inform them that I wouldn't be home and to rearrange for later that week. Turns out the driver was happy to leave the item in my garden. 2nd courier XDP told me the delivery was going to happen and then didn't show up or post a card. Now the parcel is nowhere to be seen. Roseland promised that XDP would be back in touch and to keep an eye on the woeful XDP app. Nothing yet and nearly a week has gone by. No doubt they will attempt delivery when I'm not home. Roseland have told me that I cannot ask XDP to deliver on a specific date so I assume that some point in my life I will cross paths with XDP. I'm sure all furniture deliveries around the world are just left up to chance. Now the furniture. The item which has arrived is an Oak Blanket Box. It's okay. Not great and not bad. there is a thin MDF panel on the back rather than being a complete symmetrical oak box. There is also a lot of Pine involved in the construction, yes its solid wood but it isn't 100% Oak. No lies are told compared to the description but it isn't exactly a great piece of furniture. We have seen other websites and local oak furniture shops which sell identical looking products for more expensive prices. Turns out you get what you pay for and Roseland furniture is a little cheaper than others and the product is definitely a little worse for it. Was expecting a bargain and got what I paid for with a delivery nightmare thrown in for free. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. So it turns out my parcel (1 large bookcase, 1 TV cabinet and 1 nest of tables) has gone missing. Paul Daniels would be impressed. No suitable replacements can be found for 12 weeks so a refund has kindly been offered and graciously accepted. On a final good note, the staff are nice, well mannered and responsive but my advice would still be to avoid.”

“I received my unit very promptly. The delivery man was so nice and very helpful..it was a heavy item and was only supposed to deliver it to inside my door..which I had accepted..but he asked where it was going and I told him spare bedroom so he put it in there for me..its a ground floor apartment so was an easy task..but as I live alone I very much appreciated his help. The item was really well packed and when I finally got it all done it looks lovely. The quality is outstanding..and for the price I paid I am extremely pleased.”

“Happy with ordering process and delivery. The item itself (5 draw CHEST) was OK but small chip off veneer at bottom of unit was a shame as chipboard was visible but we were able to hide it. Also small problem with draw stops. Had to adjust a couple to allow the drawers to close properly.”

“Great service and delivery. TV stand came well packaged. However it wasn't what I ordered. Given that I had destroyed the packaging when I unwrapped the goods, I couldn't return it. So I've kept it. Reasonable quality and does the job.”
