“I was awaiting a much needed parcel which just so happened to be delivered during that half hour that I nipped out of the house. There was no possibility of me colkecting the parcel the following day as I was catching a flight 1st thing in the morning so was pretty miffed that I'd missed this delivery. Whilst driving away from our road, I bumped into our postman Tom (for Lord Street, Stalybridge) and explained the situation and my dilemma. Tom went above and beyond to ensure I got my parcel that day....so thank you Tom.”

“I understand the local complaints on hear but for us in the Unoted States it's not much better. Our postal office is awful. Yet every time I order something from our mother country in the UK, I get it on time of not before the given delivery date. RM goes right to the processing center in Detroit, Michigan then right down to me in Northwest Ohio. I order from hear in the states and it will go to 10 different locations, often passing it's destination point before it arrives to its location. I'm not a local Brit, so I can't review how they deliver locally. But oversees stand point I'm very happy with Royal Mail and order often now from the good ole UK.”

Even on many occasions I missed the postman, Royal Mail would always ensure that my items are delivered intact to me at an alternate date/time. The tracking is another fabulous aspect, and how fast deliveries are carried out - even international ones to/from UK, each step well-updated. I count myself really lucky to be experiencing this great postal service from an affordable provider as compared to that of many of our neighbouring countries (sorry to implicate). As a bonus, post office counter staff are always so pleasant to deal with. I understand when queues can get a little long sometimes at the post offices (in London, in my case), but that's entirely natural for such excellent service rendered. All of these arrive at destination Highlands or Lowlands because posties know the areas and recipients address.
Any problems they are returned to me free of charge!!
In cases of non delivery they are returned to depots for customers to collect or have redelivered.
