“Genuine product,took over a month to came,but i can't blame them but the Greek custum. I payed extra taxes,but still worth it. The only negative was the costumet support,in my first message totally ignor me,at the second in facebook they ansered after one day. In general i am a happy costumer”

“Order was completely stuffed up. Customer service was poor and responses were templates. No effort was made to correct the error even after highlighting twice. They may be best seller but would take my business where they listen.”

“Purchased a Seiko SNZF17K1 for my father. Watch was perfect and arrived with 4 days. Good price and very happy. One downside was I got caught by import duties which added almost 30% to price of watch (UK £99 cost + £30 tax) so it meant no real saving over local UK supplier prices. Not Creation fault and they do state fact on website, several colleagues at work have bought from Creation and not been taxed, so guess I was just a bit unlucky.”

“I bought seven Seiko or Orient watches from creationwatches.com in the past year. This seems crazy but I wanted something for each family member in case I die (and meanwhile, I enjoy it :-D). EACH TIME the watch was genuine, new, in perfect condition, with box, and came very, very fast. Order placement is already very fast. One time, they didn't had it and refund me immediately. Any information request was treated within 24 hours. Nicely, furthermore. This is not about brands and models so no need to say how happy I am with the items. Each runs smoothly. Prices are almost unbeatable. Associated with the quality of delivery, it IS definitely unbeatable. In MY experience, the choice of DHL EI is simply excellent, they are faster to deliver a parcel from Singapore to me than national Post from my own country. Tracking is excellent. Now, as a european resident, I can understand some reviewers are disappointed by the bad surprise of paying VAT or custom charges, and associated DHL fees, upon receiving the watch. I experienced it too, one time. For those who know CW for some time, you may have noticed that they now declare, on the joined invoice, the REAL value of the item. Besides, this invoice was joined in pdf to the mail announcing the shipment, so I KNEW that this time, I would have to pay custom fees. So now, tell me, who could blame creationwatches about that? Each of us know that the items we buy on CW are subject to VAT in the EU. They may have experienced pressures from the authorities to declare the real value. OK, bad news for us, but be honest: while it is far less affordable than the CW price, it remains cheaper than a local dealer. And above all, sorry, but this is finally simply fair to have to pay for VAT on imported items, we all know that. Of course, this has dramatically calmed down my pulsions to buy another watch. But I cannot blame CW. First, they do what the law enforces them to do. Second, I have been noticed as soon as I have read the invoice pdf (still, they may have sent it with the ORDER CONFIRMATION MAIL, not the updated status mail, so that it may be easily cancelled). Third, nowhere on their website they pretend that their items won't be subject to custom fees. If some people experience receiving the bad item or in bad condition, I can understand it may upset them. But about VAT, no one can blame CW. This is our national laws, we have naturally to deal with it. And while buying on a website based in Singapore a watch half its price at a local retailer, honestly, we all know it does not include VAT. Be serious. As a rather usual buyer at creationwatches, I would be dishonest to blame them for any sort of problem in purchasing or delivery, despite that I must now consider, if ever I buy again, the laws of my country. Congrats creationwatches, still an excellent service that I will continue recommend (while informing friends that they must recall they live in a country with import fees).”

“I am extremely happy with my purchase. My Seiko SKX007J watch arrived on time (Quicker than expected) and as shown in the pictures online. I got regular texts and email updates from Creation watches and the courier company regarding its tracking, which was amazing. I would highly recommend Creation Watches to anyone and I would definitely buy from them again. Im not sure why people would give bad reviews especially regarding having to pay VAT in to the UK (Read the fine print) I paid £35 to DHL for import clearance and VAT charges and it was still £60 (£57 to be exact) cheaper than purchasing in the UK direct. A no brainer. Thanks Vanya and Raul. I really appreciate your help. Kind regards Marcel”

“I ordered the Seiko SSC365P1 Quick shipping, with a 2 day delay due to customs. Had to pay customtax € 37 extra to ge my order shipped to my home. The watch is still cheaper @ CrationWatches than in local webstores in the Netherlands. Thanx, I'm happy”

“The only real reason to buy from Creation Watches is their prices which, on first glance, look cheaper (by a decent margin) than their competitors. Despite being shown in your own currency and included with 'free' shipping, all giving a sense that the 'price you see is the price you pay', IT DOES NOT INCLUDE IMPORT DUTIES! Add 20%+ to the prices and they are then not at all competitive. When I queried the large bill I received from DHL, they said that this wouldn't have happened if they had sent it via another method (so why on earth did they choose to send it DHL?! And, having looked into this claim, it simply isn't true), and their prices were still cheaper than their competitors. This claim is also untrue. If this were a UK business action would be taken against them. Until they make it plainly clear what the TRUE value of their watches is, I would strongly encourage you not to buy from them. They are effectively doing business through misrepresentation.”

All countries levy import duties which the customer has to bear. This is clearly mentioned in our Terms and Conditions ( http://www.creationwatches.com/terms.html ), shipping information page ( http://www.creationwatches.com/products/shipping.php ) and also in the FAQ ( http://www.creationwatches.com/faq.html ) on our website. For your next order you can choose Registered Airmail shipping since there is less chance of customs taxes with this shipping method. While placing the order please leave a comment regarding the shipping method or you can email us informing the same.

We understand you have paid more taxes but customs charges as they are imposed by the customs of the buyer’s country. All countries levy import duties which the customer has to bear. This is clearly mentioned in our Terms and Conditions ( http://www.creationwatches.com/terms.html ), shipping information page ( http://www.creationwatches.com/products/shipping.php ) and also in the FAQ ( http://www.creationwatches.com/faq.html ) on our website. However, even with the import duties please let us assure you that you have saved substantially compared to the retail prices for the same watch." For your next order you can choose Registered Airmail shipping since there is less chance of customs taxes with this shipping method.
