Badly fitted lock, they left me in unsecured home for three weeks and still waiting. Old windows still in my back garden not collected. customers service good for nothing they just apologise and make empty promises, or blame me for not answering phone calls which never happened, wasted time to hold the line, email not working, online complaint system not responsive. Lost three days of my annual leave and two weekends so far waiting for them. I don’t really know what else I can do but to write reviews and warn people about this company.

The after care with this company is beyond shocking. My mother had a door fitted, it was not closing properly within a couple of days. She called to get someone out and they eventually set an appointment for 3 weeks later after a very rude woman on the phone actually upsetting my mum by saying 'i work 47 hours a week, you have to make time for these things' emplying my retired mum was not making time just because 1 date she suggested she couldn't do... Eventhough she already made time for it to be fitted, they should work around her for a fault. Then a couple days later the door wouldn't even lock. We called up and they said the office wasnt open and we would have to callback the next day. Leaving a 66 year old woman who lives on a main road and living alone with an unlocked door all night. After trying a couple of times the next day we got through and finally got someone put to fix it that afternoon. We raised a complaint with the MD. Had a generic 'sorry for the issue we have let the customer service manager know' that was it. I would highly highly recommend you do not use this company especially if you think safety is important because this company clearly does not. They beleive it is acceptable to leave a 66 year old woman in an insecure house overnight and speaking to her in a disgusting manner is good after service. My mother paid over £12,00 for the door. She also paid for the number to be engraved in tbe glass which we are still waiting to happen. We communicated with both the head office and Plymouth office, neither seem to be bothered. Hopefully this review will help people decide not to use this company as i would hate to think this happen again and an intruder or burguler enter a property because of their lack of care or interest in safety with their fittings.

I am 100% DISsatisfied with SafeStyle UK. They come to give us a quote what turned to a 1.5 hours conversation including the measurements. We could not agree on the price and at the end we ended up with a payment of £100 what we DID NOT want. We wanted to have a quote only - so we asked them to cancel the payment and they told us it is NOT possible. Only if we follow their cancellation policy. We went online and called the related number - sitting on the phone for 46 minutes (chargeable number obviously) some one answered. He sent us an email and asked us to print, sign and post them. Same day we posted them with 1st Class signed for..... Since then we have not received our money back... and it was a month ago already.... We had quote from different window companies - I can say that all of them have the same windows.. exactly the same... but one company is more expensive then the other. I recommend the bright light guys (they come, measure, no spam talking, telling the price... and that's it)

Extremely poor after sales service. They take your money and then if something is wrong with the product, it is impossible to get hold of anyone. They make promises to come out and rectify the problem but then never turn up on the date they have appointed. Then it is an endless circle of calling, no response, or false promises when you do eventually talk to someone. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Paid extra for a 'custom' sized door, only for the surveyor to come and say it was just going to be a standard one. I cancelled the order within 5 days of placing it but safestyle have kept my deposit despite promising to return it, and ignore my emails and calls. Can't get through on the number just goes in a circle of automated messgaes, and if I ever do get through they hang up on me.

Totally unreliable company 3 appointments made to come and quote, 3 times they have failed to attend - despite calling on the day to confirm that they are coming. Obviously this shoddy company don't want work - and certainly will not be given another chance by us. Avoid and find a decent reliable company.

The salesman's opening statement "I am not a salesperson" - we then endured a 30 minute "pitch" of sales spew and videos. Adding - we do not overprice and then offer big discounts at the end... except thats exactly what he did! The most out of date sales techniques ever. 50% discount but still over £2k more than a reliable, longstanding local business. To boot, just been called for a follow up and explained it was too much, to which he HUNG UP. Customer service as cr@p as their price.

The definition of a scam. High pressure sales tactics but once you sign the contract you get the worst customer service you'll every experience. We had all our windows replaced with them and a series of issues kept arising. First, turns out that several window designs that we had discussed with the salesman can't actually be build. Because of this the surveyor had to come several times. When the fitters come, they were very rude and unprofessional. They tell us the fitting will take one day, but takes two. And then they find out that one of the windows was the wrong size, so they have to send a surveyor again and manufacture it again. All this resulted in delays that made it take almost 2 months since we signed the contract until the windows were fitted. All this while my wife was heavily pregnant and about to give birth. Despite them ensuring us that things will be sorted on time before the baby is due, the series of mistakes made it go beyond that time and we had to have the final window installed with a newborn baby at home, with all the noise and toxic smell. Really disappointed, such a stressful situation, and the managers on the phone were not helpful and some were even rude. To top it all up. Once we thought all the problems would be over, one of the windows fails to close only a week after installation. And they are sending the "next available" engineer in 5 weeks!

Safestyle are absolutely terrible!! Their customer service is non-existent and their products are rubbish. Ever since I had ALL my windows and doors fitted by them, they have pestered me to have more fitted. They don’t take “I’ve got no windows left to replace” as an excuse to stop ringing me. Every time I spoke to them, I asked for an engineer to fix my faulty door. They never arranged this. When I called customer services and waited on hold for ages, I was sent an engineer at their convenience. When he turned up he was racist about my neighbour, insulted my property, threw his waste in my backyard and snapped the window beading. The fix lasted a few days and it got slowly worse. So bad in fact that I snapped a metal key trying to lock the door!! I’m now stuck with a door I can’t open and I’m being told it will be a week before anyone attends AND I have to pay for this! I will NEVER use these conmen again and urge everyone else to do likewise. They make out like you’re getting a deal and excellent guarantees but you’re really not.

Let me tell you a little story about a company called Safestyle UK - My parents had Safestyle UK install the living room windows in our home. An installation date was scheduled and a “team of professional fitters have been allocated”, according to the letter they received. Only one fitter came to install the living room bay window. While he has was halfway through installing the windows – he was just about to fit the glass – he receives a call on his mobile phone. At which point he says to my parents that he has to go or else he will be late for his next job! He proceeded to rush the remainder of his job at our home. Having said that, they appeared to be soundly fitted and my parents being pensioners did not wish to create a fuss. Fast forward eight or so years and cracks – literally – are beginning to show in the work. They could have appeared earlier, but it was only at this time my mother and I noticed. The frame was starting to drop on the outside, where it was beginning to come away from the inner ceiling. In addition to this, the windowsill was starting to drop towards the edge as well where the bay stuck out. But we thought we would be in luck as we were still well within our ten-year-guarantee. How wrong we were. Safestyle UK sent out an engineer on the 12th June, of this year, to inspect what the company he works for had carried out all those years ago. His professional opinion was that because of the hot summer we had in 2018, it had caused the window frame to break away from the fittings and actually rise – not fall, but rise. This was despite the fact that the frame was dropping and not rising. The forces of gravity tend to pull things down to earth, not levitate them towards the skies. All in all, he was with us for five minutes, if that, where he talked the talk; blinding us with industry jargon, before he went to go and sit in his van for about ten minutes afterwards. Not entirely happy with his assessment, we visited a friend of the family up the road, who was a local builder. He came; pulled the windowsill up and the wooden coverings around the inner-frame to reveal that the bay window was dropping. The frame was being kept up by two screws either side and tons of mastic. There wasn’t anything underpinning the bay window to prevent failings in the fittings years down the line. Put simply, it was a cowboy job. When we told him Safestyle UK fitted them, his response was one of little surprise. Incidentally the new local firm we had to come and completely replace the windows said the same thing, that they have heard all sorts of bad things about Safestyle UK. I wrote a letter of complaint to the CEO of Safestyle UK, because that is the only way you get things done with companies such as these. Go straight to the top. We received a letter from the CEO’s office – one of the most unprofessional letters I have ever received. Let me give you a sample: They mis-spelt my surname, which is pretty hard to do as it is not an uncommon one. They went on to say: “I’m sorry that that you have had reason to contact” etc., etc. I honestly could not believe that this would come from CEO’s office; repeated words, with no punctuation. I accept that it was probably from a template, but even so, do they not proof read prior to sending? Another example was the sentence, which read: “Safestyle will not agree to cover any costs of woks”. I was not aware that they specialised in cookery ware as well?! All joking aside, they were not prepared to listen to our concerns. The letter went on to state further that the engineer, who attended on the 12th June, had put the problems down to subsidence and structural issues with the house. It was because we were not listened to in the first place that we decided to go with a local firm to carry out the complete replacement of the bay windows. Safestyle UK did send out a second engineer on the 19th July and, to his credit, was on our side; he agreed completely that the problem was nothing whatever to do with subsidence and that the window was not fitted correctly in the first place. He could not understand the first engineers reasons for putting it down to subsidence. However, by this point we had already instructed a local firm to carry out the complete removal and re-installation of new bay windows, so Safestyle UK’s belated gesture to repair them and underpin the frame was a bit late in the day – especially when you consider that they would not listen to us in the first place. Having said that, we thought it was only fair that they should cover – at least – some of the costs for the replacement, seeing as though the initial installation was a botched job. They offered us a so-called ‘good will gesture’, which covered around 30% of the cost for new windows. I would recommend that you do not use this company. I would still like to know what became of the initial engineer who installed the windows and carried out the rush job. Yet, every time I have asked in my letters and emails, they have conveniently glossed over his name and said nothing. They duped two pensioners, who did not wish to make a fuss and they refused to listen to us when we raised concerns. Only this morning we passed a Safestyle UK van down our road; installing a new door. If only the people who lived there knew what they were letting themselves in for. Do not use this company – amateurish and extremely unprofessional both in their correspondence and workmanship in general.

Avoid this company at ALLCOST!!...unless you want an unprofessional service + your personal information to be released to scam gangs! I had a UPVC door replacement work with them. 1. On the day of installation, I noticed that the spec of the door lock is different from our initial request. It turned out that the engineer who conducted the measurement did not put our modification requests into their system. When I raised this point to the installer & warehouse, they agreed to replace the lock in the next few days, provided that I clear the balance on the same day... Guess what? An absolute lie! Heard nothing from them after the installation and they refused to replace the lock after I contacted them afterwards. 2. This is even worse...after the door installation. I started to receive serveral visits from some sales people who 'claims' that they work for SafeStyleUK and said that they can offer us a special deal to replace windows because I am the exisitng customer. The price was unbelievable cheap and I was pretty sure that it was a scam! What makes me worried is that how do these people know my detail and know that I used the service from SafeStyleUK? Obviously this information is leaked within SafeStyleUK and I think this is absolutly unacceptable!!! I would give 0 star if the system allows. I am still deeply regret that I choose the service from SafeStyleUK...

Professional to begin with. Told me the upvc was of “virgin plastic”. (Not recycled and therefore doesn’t discolour) After 1/2 years of installing the frames have discoloured and obvious different plastics had been used as there are colour variations. My windows look like cheap rubbish, I fact the council use better quality frames on their houses! Called them up , came to look at windows and tried to blame me that they wasn’t being cleaned properly. Would never ever use this company again neither would I recommend them... Dont waste your money. Pay that extra for better quality!!

Very poor customer service. When we ordered our doors and windows the sales person advised that if there was a problem then the issue would get resolved quickly especially as my mother and father are in their 80s. Safestyle have informed me today that the next available date is 27thAug some 30days away! How is this a quick response? I advised my mother is disabled and that access through the bank door is prohibitive due to a ramp being required. The supervisor called Keeley advised me to contact a locksmith to sort the issue then I would be reimbursed. I asked for her to send me an email to confirm this which she advised she would send. No email received and now customer support is closed so now my mother can't leave the house due to this. If you are elderly or infirm don't purchase from this company, they promise the earth when selling and fail to deliver when aftercare support is required. For Keeley the supervisor to promise that she will confirm our conversation then not do so shows that she can't lead by example. I told her we need to release our front door tonight, yet her nonchalant attitude to our dilemma indicates that Safestyle need to do better when picking staff who need to fulfill their promises.
