We knew exactly what we wanted so arrange an appointment whilst making the appointment I informed them that I would be alone and also said this when they phone to confirm the appointment. When the salesman arrived he wasn’t happy that my wife wasn’t available so phoned his manager and said I was a one legger ! I had measured all the windows before he arrived to try and help, unfortunately he left without giving me a quote for my 25 windows plus a French door. Perhaps they don’t need the orders

I had a salesman knocking at the door, very polite but at the same time very pushy, even though you say you arent interested he would still push, im annoyed i made the mistake of giving my number, i have blocked it now, these companies fail to understand that if we need double glazing we are well capable of finding a company we know or that a friend has used, as do i already know where to get double glazing if i need it, the salesman will give you a sob story that if you agree to a quote his boss will be happy that hes doing his job, and that hes only been with them three weeks, all a big story.

Contacted them for a quote, and made it clear I was just after the no obligation quote that lasts 12 months. I was not I a position to buy there and then. Sales man came to the house and asked questions I had been asked at least 3 times on the phone, including “does anyone else own the property”. Said this was due to vulnerable people not being involved in the decision. Measured up all the windows and gave me a quote of nearly £6000. Due to various offers, this eventually went down to just over £2000. Wanted me to sign on the dotted line there and then. Explained that I was only after a quote and was not in a position to agree to anything. There was no option to think about it, to come back later. I had to make a decision there and then. I never felt so vulnerable in my own home with such pushy sales tactics. He made it clear he wasn’t happy he didn’t make a sale. Would never go back to them!

The service we received in the beginning was very helpful, the man that came to our house was very helpful and explained everything to us which we were satisfied with. We requested a vent to be fitted in the window and the man advised us that the vent will be fitted in. We were also given a detailed letter which outlined that vents will be fitted in. Couple of days later there were workers that came to our house to fit in the windows, now before the man was fitting in the windows we advised them to fit in the vent also, after the job was done I asked the workers again if the vent was fitted, they said to me it doesn't say a vent will be fitted in on papers. I was so upset when this was not fitted in the workers said this is not our problem we just been told to do a job which was fair enough. So I called the company and asked why was there not a vent fitted in, they advised us we did not make a payment for the vent which we did. Eventually they advised us after that you have made a payment and we will be fitting in a vent. Couple of days later I have been ringing them again, again and again and my phone was not being answered. Then I received a phone call from safe style saying that I am not entitled to a vent and there will be a additional fee. Then I finally spoke to the man who dealt with us in the beginning, he said to us I do not want to take this to the debt collection team as they will take this one step further. I would not advised anyone to join this company, I do not wish anyone to go through what i been through with this company. Very disrespectful staff and workers that were working to put the windows up were not helpful in any sort of way as they kept saying we got nothing to do with the company we have just been sent to do a job.

I would not recommend this company. Had the windows installed in July and completed 6 weeks later. They decided to replace our french doors minus a lintel and tried to fob me off by saying it was not required. After contacting a structural engineer and FENSA, it turned out that a lintel was required as the installation was dangerous. They use contractors to install the windows and doors and have targets to meet inorder to quickly progress to the next job. The windows may be energy efficient but not the gaps between the windows and wall. Their complaint service is non existent. Rang and emailed the Customer Service Team and to this day still no call back. Personally, get the work done by a reputable local window installer.

Had one of safestyle sales reps call yesterday to quote for a French door. Started off okay, but ended up with a potentially illegal sales pitch and a one time offer for sign up there and then that could not be written down. Was also clearly told that the price match guarantee was only valid against national companies and not local equivalents. When I queried this and showed the sales rep the actual advert, he started to back track. Very poor show from a company that is supposed to be reputable. Guys this is 2019 and not 1980!!!

Damages to door window andd my hallway, didn't fit correctly first time, call out for a second time. Still didn't do the windows correctly, awful draft and obvs damage. Ringing them today for a third attempt, cost me about two grand should be done right from day one. Terrible service. And the men damaged my hallway with carrying things but dragging then against my wall with no consideration. Sons room now has terrible draft..... And my door when was fitted originally they tried to hid a don't from me by filling it in with black silicone but that eventually dropped off. Leaving a significant sized damaged door. Thanks I've saved for ages for these two items I feel robbed.

I would not recommend safestyle to build a cardboard box let alone install a front door.My experience with them is not a happy one,on 23 Nov 19 they came to install my door when they had finished we noticed that it was the wrong door to cut a long..........they said it would be replaced and to date nothing. I have phoned about 25 times to the depot and no has answered or return my call.Btw the one star is for turning up....

I would give them 0 stars if it was possible. Safestyle messed up my order and won't do anything to make it right. I've ordered composite door from them and what they've installed had a wrong colour frame plus a wrong type of glass. Now they won't even admit it was an error on their side and say I have no evidence of what I actually ordered. Well guess what... I don't because your consultant does it all on a tablet which by the way he didn't know how to use. I have 6 more windows I need to replace but I will definitely not be using Safestyle ever again. Time to leave some reviews online and spread the news. Worst service ever!

I had my windows and door fitted two weeks ago . Although I’m happy with them the work men left my house like a building site , they certainly didn’t leave it clean as I’d been promised. I noted straight away that the security chain and spy hole I’d ordered was missing. Despite doing this, telling the follow up calls, texting my salesman and emailing 3 times I’ve heard nothing. I’ve tried to call for a week but never an answer. They are quick enough to sell but the follow up service is shocking !!!!

Patio doors installed in August. 1. Walls left in a complete state, no coin bead along edge, plaster work looks like it was done by a 5 year old (not my 5 year old, he could have done a better job!) 2. Skirting board was not cut with a mitre so there a huge gap just liberally filled with frame sealant 😂 3. Locks were not tightened and door needed to be adjusted to allow handle to be pulled up to close it, we were told "its normal for it to be that stiff" by the installer... like literally had to yank the handle up as hard as you could (now adjusted). 4. 2mm gap around the seals on the inside and a 1cm break in the external.seals leading to a cold draft, lush! 5. Installer left a rag covered in a cleaning solvent on my LVT floor which has all bubbled up... but this is "decoration " so they won't do anything about that... 6. Plastic threshold installed but paperwork stated hardwood... 7. This was all talked about in august, I have moved my furniture around 6 times and stayed home on my day off with my kids 5 times waiting for them to turn up and fix the issues, they either turn up and then leave to go and get parts and never come back, turn up with no tools (yup, that actually happened 😂) or turn up, deliberate for a little while and agree that the work is needed but that they dont have the allotted time. I have rung so many times, the last time I called I specifically said I am done dealing with the local install team as they are utterly useless, who calls me back to discuss the issue? The local team!! And they still didnt turn up to fix the problem! If someone from safestyle is actually reading this, can you justify this level of service?
