“New front door fitted but not the one I ordered, when I complained was told you’ve signed for an s3 ,what’s a s3 ,I now know it’s a 3 glazed style of the Chatsworth not the 5 glazed door which is shown on the website plus no knocker which when finally got through to them is scheduled for 5 weeks.now in process of talking to ceo ,let’s see how I go on”
“Patio doors installed in August.
1. Walls left in a complete state, no coin bead along edge, plaster work looks like it was done by a 5 year old (not my 5 year old, he could have done a better job!)
2. Skirting board was not cut with a mitre so there a huge gap just liberally filled with frame sealant 😂
3. Locks were not tightened and door needed to be adjusted to allow handle to be pulled up to close it, we were told "its normal for it to be that stiff" by the installer... like literally had to yank the handle up as hard as you could (now adjusted).
4. 2mm gap around the seals on the inside and a 1cm break in the external.seals leading to a cold draft, lush!
5. Installer left a rag covered in a cleaning solvent on my LVT floor which has all bubbled up... but this is "decoration " so they won't do anything about that...
6. Plastic threshold installed but paperwork stated hardwood...
7. This was all talked about in august, I have moved my furniture around 6 times and stayed home on my day off with my kids 5 times waiting for them to turn up and fix the issues, they either turn up and then leave to go and get parts and never come back, turn up with no tools (yup, that actually happened 😂) or turn up, deliberate for a little while and agree that the work is needed but that they dont have the allotted time.
I have rung so many times, the last time I called I specifically said I am done dealing with the local install team as they are utterly useless, who calls me back to discuss the issue? The local team!! And they still didnt turn up to fix the problem!
If someone from safestyle is actually reading this, can you justify this level of service?”
“The sales man bragged about how he knows who to charge extra to (such as older couples and rich people, he was also quite forcefull), the fiters rushed the job and the scaffolding was last for over a week. Windows are basic and wonky, 3month later and still not fixed even after constant calling and constantly being put through to wrong department then cut of”
“Had a quote from Safestyle windows last week and today I received a call from Adam Davies at 16.24. This person became very rude after when I said that the quote they gave me was high so I am going with a different company who gave me a lower quote.
He was rude and then he hang up the phone on me.
If this is how they behave before sales then how would they behave after sales? They are not professional and who would want to work with these people who has no manners and is treating their customers badly.
Safestyle is a big company and should not let the staff get away with this type of behaviour as this is dropping their reputation and they will lose customers”
“Used safestyle when renovating our old house and did a fantastic job however 10 years on 2018, we thought we would use them again BIG MISTAKE. we are currently 18 months (Nov 19) into remedial work and has been escalated to fenserology . the conservatory was not surveyed properly causing the roof to dip and put pressure on the glass which ending up supporting it. the windows were fitted by what i would call apprentices with very little experience and know how, hammering bricks out of the wall and forcing the windows in, this led to the frames bowing and the glass not fitting correctly, this was after they had dropped 1 unit smashing it on my drive. the fitters were consistent and dropped their drill on 2 brand new radiators chipping them and continued their clumsiness by dropping the drill on my bathroom basin cracking it and proceeding to fill it with silicon. once the bay window was in we had decent airflow and could see the outside world through the joins in the frame. The doors and some windows were fitted on the diagonal and proceed to rub creating a scuffing noise and ensuring airflow continues through the top of the door where it doesn't seal properly. after having 5 or 6 units replaced and 15 attempts of remedial work we continue but with a large number of driver marks in the frames and trim. after a few months the rooftop of the conservatory blew off in a breeze leaving us with a waterfall in which safestyle reply was to send someone out in 2 weeks. safestyle are very illusive when trying to contact them and i would seriously advise to stay well away, i've added a couple of pictures from our journey, i have a few videos of the indoor rain and well over 60 additional pictures, hopefully this will influence your decision.... Good luck!”
“Absolutely awful, stay clear of this company unless you want hassle. Poor quality product fitted by idiots who don't care, They even managed to drop the door before fitting, aftercare cant be bothered either, my advice is go somewhere else...you have been warned!”
“Door looks good, installation started promptly.
Just the quality of work leaves something to be desired.
- Letterbox left tilted. Every single visitor asks about this, and all I can say that it was installed by SafeStyle.
- Protruding Torx-screws on the door frame catch everything, including shopping bags etc
- The doorbell and alarm were removed without unscrewing, apparently a standard Philips-screwdriver is not part of the installers kit
The letterbox is the worst "Feature" as it ruins the outlook of the house. Can be seen already already from the street. Most people assume that this as some DIY job, I will now put SafeStyle advert on the door...”
“What a disappointing company, its a wonder they are still trading ,
Independent Surveyor was very professional, but that was the last of
that service
Customer Service was a joke, promised to return phone calls and never
did.
In the end we have had to cancel the order, they could not have cared a
toss.
Any one wanting replacement windows, Do not use this second rate company”
“And now they have blocked me from comments on thier facebook page, that's great customer service for you, company is a joke and I really do erge you to think again before using this company, cant even solve the issue that's thier mistake, shocking”
“Well it's been a long three months thanks Safestyle for the superb customer service, we had our windows and doors done and they didn't complete all the work on the day we had 17 windows and 2 doors fitted and was happy with the work, but as I said they said they will be back the following week to complete my end caps and some caps on my window frames, 3 months on and after sending 5 different people out they agreed to come and complete the work today, they turned up and put the caps on the window frames and said they cant do the roof end caps as this was not put down by the sales rep, after three months they tell us this and I rung customer service and they didn't want to know, I am so aggrieved by the fact its thier mistake and they didn't even want to try and sort it out other then trying to get more money out of me, well I want the lot out and I will take my custom to a company that will look after they returning customers.... I will never use this company again. My porch looks an eye sore and they are happy to leave it like that unless I pay extra, well compliant is going in not that they will act on it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, it's not the same Safestyle since they have been taken over.”
“First of all when the representative came he told us the price range to see if we were actually serious about buying or whether we were just a waste of time, even though they advertise it as a “no obligation quote.”
Secondly they misled us into saying everything is “tailor made”
It’s not true. Even when you talk to discuss your order over the phone you are forever on hold and even when it is answered they don’t exactly know what is going on. Although the door fitter was very good, Safestyle Uk are a big gamble and I would never use them again.”
“So I had arranged for my windows and doors to be fitted today.
I called yesterday to confirm a time that they would arrive, they explained that at the time I had called the department I needed to speak to was shut, however, they reassured me that I was booked in for the next day and that they normally arrive between 8am-2pm, but they would ask the fitters to call me in the morning to arrange a time.
I woke up at 7am the next day to make sure I was ready incase they came early. At 9:30am I still had not received a call, I called up head office, they said they would ask the fitters to call me. Half an hour later I received a call from Safestyle to say that their fitters had not turned up.
I am utterly disappointed at the service and lack of communication I have so far received from Safestyle.
I have been reassured that my doors and windows will be fitted tomorrow, so we shall see if the fitters decide to turn up for their shift and if not I hope I don’t have to chase this up.”
“Worst double glazing firm on the planet. If you want to endure 3 hours of some slimeball plucking ficticious discounts out of thin air to arrive at a price then go for it. Product is average at best and fitting is a joke. Think they stick most products in with expanding foam, don't think they know what a screw is. Avoid at all costs. You will regret using them”
“I have never written a review for anything before but had to for this company. Awful experience from beginning to end to try and purchase a new front door. The first salesman was pushy, saying we had to sign there and then that day to make a saving on his special "friends and family" discount, on a vastly inflated initial price. We said we would think about it. The company then made numerous phone calls trying to get us to meet another salesman which verged on being a nuisance. The second salesman offered a price of around £1480 for a composite door which we specifically asked for identical colour on interior and exterior. We were assured this was fine and signed an agreement with Barclays finance via Safestyle UK for an interest free loan for that door. They give you a 14 day cooling off period to cancel that loan or you incur charges. With 8 days left to go of that cooling off period the surveyor attended and stated the door was rosewood outside and white inside and that the salesman should never have placed the order for that door as they cannot do the same colour both sides. We chose another door and was promised Safestyle UK would honor the original quote. The whole process dragged on over the next week chasing the company until, with three days left on the cooling off period, Safestyle UK said they could do the order for an extra £450!! Naturally we cancelled the order. The fun then started with trying to cancel the loan with Barclays Finance who in turn said they could do nothing until Safestyle UK cancelled the loan. This led to more calls to Safestyle UK. We think we have now cancelled everything with two days of the cooling off period to spare. An absolute headache from beginning to end.
The salesmen are at the best incompetent and at the worst, plain deceptive to sting you for as much money as possible. God forbid an elderly or vulnerable person have to deal with this company.
A disgrace.”

“The company us quick enough to take your money but unfortunately are adverse to answering emails or calls when it comes to warranty issues. Been trying for 3 weeks now. The stuff was only installed in the spring. Very poor quality matched only by the poor customer service.”
“TThe salesman took a deposit with promises of what could be done, and when their engineer came he denied those possibilities in the combinations of colours and materials we wanted. The company has agreed to cancel the order but two and a half months on, we have not received a refund of the deposit. Avoid!”
