This is a long post but incredible if you want a true insight into this company. Our window fitting was delayed due to COVID so we waited 2 months for this and are incredibly disappointed and frustrated. 1. The door was damaged and not what we asked for we were missing a spy hole and were given a lever-lever door. Neither at point of sale or survey were we informed of the difference between a lever-lever or lever-pad. The door doesn't lock properly meaning someone has to be in the property at all times and a huge SECURITY RISK. We were told that a new door will be installed within a week. A week later no-one has contacted me regarding installation of a new door. As a result the fitters did not finish the fitting of the door which is surrounded by ugly expandable foam filler. 2. There are big gaps between most of the beading in the windows. I was told that when they come to fit the new door they will resolve the beading. Still waiting. 3. We paid extra for Georgian bars at the front of our property. The spacings between the Georgian bars are not symmetrical. The gaps between the bars are 10",8", 11" and 11.5", ruining the look of the front of the property. I was asked to provide a diagram of what we were expecting for the Georgian bars. This is part of SafeStyles service, they are the "experts", not me, I shouldn't have to design my windows for them to resolve. 4. Scaffolding is still up on the property for over a week. 5. Messy fitters. I have a 1 year old in the house and even after they finished fitting, there were old fittings and screws left dotted around my house (even in areas where they weren't working).

Long post but do read - It’s important that you understand who you are about to spend money with. We have had/are having an absolutely awful experience with Safestyle and would recommend that everyone exercises caution if using them. We bought windows for our house in August 2019 and from the first point of sale we were lied to. The salesman guaranteed us that the fitters putting in the windows would make the area around them good after installation. (This was the reason that made us go with them). We then had the surveyor come around and confirm AGAIN as well as putting it in writing on the receipt that they would leave the house as they found it. When the installation people came round to put the windows in they confirmed that they DON’T leave as good. Which was far from ideal as the Windows and the front of our house looked a complete state and we have had to get decorators in to paint and make good the entire front of the house as well as every room internally. When the installers left, my wife checked the job they had done an awful job and there was gaping holes which should have been filled and just generally a terrible job. List of faults: * Dirt and debris left inside the house. * Dirt and debris left outside the house. * Sealant was used in cracks on the render above the windows outside. * The sealant used around the windows was a really poor finish. * The render/cement used around the windows was a really poor finish. * Black marks evident on the windows inside. * Trim placed over screw holes. * Poor finish of plaster around the trim - which has been put over the trim and scratched it. * Poor finish of caulk/sealant used inside the windows. * Bits of plastic sheeting left around the windows. * Gaps in the joins of the windows inside. * The caulk used in some places is turning yellow. * Tint in the windows. We called Safestyle and showed them photos of the work and they apologised and sent someone from their ‘specialist team’ To come and fix it. Visit to fix - 1 The man that came to fix the first bodge job was shocked at the state of the job they had done and but he admitted that he was unaware the extent of the issues and didn’t have all the equipment necessary with him. He advised that he would be able to do some work but would need to revisit with another colleague to complete all the work in one day. Visit to fix 2 The next time he came he said they were short staffed and it wouldn’t be all done today. Visit to fix 3 The same employee attended on his own. He explained that some of the equipment was damaged and he would not be able to complete all remedial work in that day. Visit to fix 4 ‪A different employee called to sort out an issue with one of the windows.‬ On top of this our windows are tinted and not as we ordered (This is in the small print make sure you read!) Awful product, Awful service do not use this company they offered us a £300 discount and we have already had to spend more than triple that fixing what was promised on day one.

Be very aware! I need new windows for my 3 bedroom detached house reasonably urgently. The Positives: I contacted Safe Style on Tuesday and they were very good in booking an appointment for the Wednesday morning, They said their Representative would contact me on the Wednesday morning to confirm a time but that the appointment would be between 1030 and 11am. Their Representative contacted me at 922am. The Negatives: When the Representative contacted me he asked if my wife would be present. I asked why? He said because it was Company Policy to have my wife present. I explained that my wife would be present but needs to go to work at 1030. He said he could come at 10am.I said this would be ok but again reinforced that my wife would leave for work at 1030. At 1024 I had a call from another Safe Style Representative to say his colleague had underestimated the travelling time and is 10 minutes away. I reminded this new person of the previous conversation and said my wife is going to work. He said he would need to speak with his manager and would ring me back. At 1028 I received a call to say it was Company policy that husband and wife need to be present at the appointment. So I thanked them and declined this visit. As Head of Sales and Marketing of a Multi-National Company, I can only assume that Safe Style are continuing to use sales tactics that have been phased out years' ago! So as not to embarass them further, I would suggest, in knowing what these outdated sales tactics are they should take my advice in attending current and professional sales courses so that they can not only better meet the needs of their Customers but also increase sales potential.... A very disappointed Customer who will now buy my new windows off one of their Competitors....

Absolutely shocking! Work booked in to take 3 days. Job started March 16th. Took leave off work to facilitate. No protection used internally creating dust contamination through out lounge/dining room. Safe style Sent wrong parts for one window. Design issue with another window. French doors fitted poorly and need adjusting. External brickwork a joke. Plastering required internally. Job still incomplete with 2 windows required. scaffolding still in situ. Staff rude and aggressive when raising my concerns. Complaint raised with Safe Style. Was told work would be completed April 27th heard nothing re any re-arranged dates due to covid.

We were really pleased with the service to begin with and have to say that the fitters were fantastic on the day. However the after sales service has been diabolical. No communication following the fitting at all. We appreciate that the COVID 19 situation has hampered this but we still have the scaffolding up 2 months after fitting and despite ringing Safestyle UK numerous times, nobody ever gets back to us and nobody seems to be able to tell us who the company were that erected the scaffolding. Really disappointing for a national company who should have had structures in place to follow up customers who had windows fitted just before the lockdown.

Waiting since September for them to return and finish the job. Repeatedly lied to. I've taken numerous days off only for them to cancel on that morning. Real shame as it would appear to be an easy fix but they can't be bothered. Refuse to give a point of contact and appear to just fob you off on the phone.

Would've given no stars if that was an option! Did quote form online and promptly got in touch within ten mins, organised someone to call on the Wednesday. Got a call from them confirming on Tuesday, then received a call 2 minutes later saying can I rearrage as they couldn't justify sending a guy out for one appointment! I rearranged for the Friday and they agreed. I work nights so got up early on Friday for 2 pm app. No sign by 3.30! Called them and asked what happened. They just said " I don't know what happened there he was supposed to turn up!" No S##t Sherlock! Told him to stick it and if be writing this review! Don't touch them with a bargepole. Very unprofessional

You spent 3 hours pressuring a 74 year old woman into a sale until late at night. She then lost sleep for 3 nights in a row. She said the only way she could get rid of the salesman was to say yes to windows and the finance which she couldn't afford. Disgraceful.

Salesman came and was great, chose the door we wanted and got good price. Was told surveyor would come to measure up, when he came he mentioned the type of glass we wanted but nothing else about the door. When the fitter arrived he removed the old door and frame and starting putting the new one in when we realised it was the wrong style door, after a brief conversation with safestyle they agreed to come out the following week and change it. No one showed and after a telephone conversation I was told that was the door on the surveyor's paperwork and they wouldn't be coming out. Was told to email which we did but didn't get a reply so went through the complaint procedure and still no reply!! Despite the door we ordered being on the original paperwork and the fitter writing on his they were going to change the door it looks like I'm going to have to go through the small claims procedure!! Do yourselves a favour and go elsewhere!!!!

The Sales team and management at safestyle are TERRIBLE! the customer service Via head office isn’t much better. I had a broke tap, caused by the fitting of my windows, which was left for 3 weeks before they paid for someone to come out! That person I had to find as apparently the local branch were unable to. The fitters are great, but I would NEVER recommend safestyle to anyone.

Very odd sales pitch today. Salesman turned up only to advise that he could only proceed with me if my husband was with me! I said that wasn’t made clear when I made the appt. He phoned his boss who stated not to proceed. Salesman a nice enough guy who did tell me about the door products and that as a national company it doesn’t matter if certain areas don’t make profit as they have enough sales in London. This is not a good message, I want to deal with a company that cares and will do their very best for me. Anyway, I’ll save you the hassle Safestyle, I’ll go elsewhere for my new door.
