Ash came out to give me a quote for a new door and window 10 days ago and I've heard nothing since. Considering Coronovirus is about, he walked straight into my house without asking and when I asked him to stand outside his entire attitude changed. He measured the door and gave me a price but I said you've not seen the window yet. He thought I meant the tiny window above the door, not realising that was included in the door frame and thought a separate thing. My confidence in him went to zero. He was quite pushy and wanted me to sign there and became quite indignant when I asked for a written quote so I could compare to others. Needless to say, I won't be having them back if this is the service to begin with.

Absolutely shocking service. Came out to fit a new front door and 3 dormer windows. One of the windows had a broken hinge when they installed it - "Someone will be out next week to fix it" A second dormer broke the following day and wouldn't close. As for the front door, without asking they hacked off part of our skirting board and cut off part of the new doors plastic frame. They didn't measure it but filled in the bit they cut too short with a massive blob of silicone. Then they siliconed the bottom of the door frame to our door mat! The engineer came out the following week to fix the 3 problems, but was only allocated a 30min time slot. He fixed one window and then left and said he would be back in a MONTH to do the other two issues. The one he "fixed" broke again the following day. We then got a call to say the appointment to fix them in a month has been postponed a further week. We'll see if they ever come back and actually put it right. Really expected better from a big national company.

Poor customer service and after care. One of the hinges snapped on the door, 1 year after the installation! Unfortunately it was during the corona virus so no one could come and fix it (which i understand) because everything was shut, even emergency repair team, said it's not an emergency. I had no choice and replace the hinges myself, otherwise we could not use the door at all. I called today Safe Style to ask for help, only to adjust the door and I've been told that, i broke the warranty terms and i should of call them earlier. I tried to explain that i have tried to contact them a month ago, but quite arrogant lady, kind of told me off. Well, definitely i'm not going to use them again. Not great quality product, even worst customer service.

I have just made an enquiry re windows for a house I rent out, I have previously purchased windows for 3 houses from safestyle with no problems and good service. The salesman today called me regarding my enquire, his attitude and service was appalling to say the least, one full house of windows not going to safestyle

Possibly the worse fitting and customer service experience Possibly the worse customer service and quality of work we have EVER came across. We had our doors fitted several weeks ago, they were unable to finish it of on the day due to missing trim. Not a problem, it was going to be fixed the next day. It has now been over 3 week, nobody came, customer service team did not take our complaint seriously, we were promised a call back several times and nobody called once. Our door is still being left unfinished. Not sure if we can show pictures here but it looks horrible and the door frame installed has also been left damaged. We would never recommend them to anybody who values good quality work and comprehensive after care service team. Please avoid or only agree to pay once you're fully satisfied. So far, they took all the money for a job that's not finished at all. Reported to trading standards. Hope this helps, Daniel

If I could give them a zero star I would. From the first day of fitting I had to complain. They did not finish the end of the inside window with pvc trim leaving the edges exposed with sharp cut pvc which you can reach your fingers behind. The fitters just told us to paint around it with white so it wouldnt look obvious. One of the windows only had half a window sill which totally changed the size of the window and again left even larger gaps between the frame and the window. They damaged the sandstone wall on the outside of the bay window and just filled it with filler which looks terrible. The front door was the wrong pattern that I ordered so the panel had to be changed. Even when they amended the problems, there was still hanging bits of trim I had to ask them to cut off to make the windows look even. There was also parts around the window which still need sealing on the trims which we will just do ourselves because it was too much hassle at this point. Not to mention the damage caused on the top of my stairs when they were carrying the new window upstairs. The whole experience and quality was beyond poor.

Had them round to quote. Very pushy and hugely overpriced. Try watching the TV comedy series "white gold" . Every time I watch it I think of safestyle😂😂😂

Never ever buy from this company ....... our windows were put in in September 2019 and we are still waiting for them to be put in correctly as they’re the wrong size. We have had people come and view 6 times and try to correct the fact that they are leaking rain in onto our new plaster and they corrected two of the windows....... with an appointment to correct the others they did not turn up. Customer service just does not exist

Do not use them. They basically are full of sh€t, they quoted me £18000 for 6 windows When I told them I got a quote the day before for £8900 for 6 windows and a bi folding patio door the drop there price by £10000 in 10 seconds. A company that can drop the price like that are con men. Do not trust them.

I would strongly advise looking at other companies before settling for Safestyle. We had all our windows replaced/chucked in about 18 months ago, we are still chasing them to clear the 50+ defects we listed.

Awful customer service. I don't recommend. After 3 wrong surveys and remake of the windows, I lost so much time trying to speak to somebody regarding my experience, hoping that they will make something to rectify the issues. I was promised a cheque as a gesture of goodwill, 3 months ago, which never arrived, and on top of this everytime I'm calling to discuss this matter I'm being bounced from one person to another. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. Please do not believe their supposed values, they don't exist. They just want to take your money. The worse experience ever!!!!!

Unfortunately, I've had a really bad experience with Safestyle (and it's still ongoing!) - initial salesman was absolutely fine, when the fitter came to measure up he was wearing no PPE (one of the reasons I contacted Safestyle was because of their policy on safety during COVID-19). I'd even double checked it would be a factor when making appointments and was assured full PPE - 'viser, mask, gloves & shoe covers' would be worn. When I informed him that I'd been told he'd be wearing PPE, he was incredibly rude; told me it was at his discretion and announced that he 'hasn't had to wear it so far'.As you can imagine, the revelation that he has been in numerous homes potentially immediately before mine with blatent disregard, did nothing to put my mind at ease. I contacted Safestyle immediately after he had left, I was quite upset about the whole thing - that I'd been stupid enough to think they were taking measures seriously and it wasn't just lip service - I felt I'd let me family down by trusting what they'd said online and let someone into my home. I was told my refund was in hand and the matter would be escalated. When I rung to get an update the next day and wanted to be sure that my cancellation had gone through, I was told, "it definitely has, I watched him cancel the order". He also assured me I'd recieve the money on Monday (which is today - still no money). I've been told on 3 separate occasions I'd 'get a call back shortly' - still nothing. I wouldn't mind but they are not busy. Upon registering my interest I was called 6 times immediately that afternoon. Salesman the same day, fitter came 2 days later. They are just in no hurry to acknowledge their lack of safety measures/training or respect for customers. Or they are waiting until my cancellation period has expired in an attempt to not refund me... I rung for the second time today and was told (despite being told several times something to the contrary) that my order was indeed not cancelled -(again, I'd been told it was); and I'd even been given a date for when I'd recieve my refund ( I was clearly just told that to get me off the phone). Tried to ring 'head office' main line 5 times - I held for 45 mins at the longest. Their voicemail says to send an email and 'get a response within 24 hrs', sent an email, automated response states 'get a response in 72 hours' - who knows. Rung local branch 4 times - told something different each time. Shocking disregard for Government led safety measures and equally shocking customer service. AVOID. UPDATE - Have now emailed 3 times in total (well over '72 hours' since the first, and nearing that timescale since I sent the second one) and no response, and no money. No-one has been in touch regarding the fact that their staff are entering peoples homes with no PPE - they clearly do not care, and have essentially stolen £100 which I was told I'd get back days ago. Disgraceful.

I wouldn't recommend this company, when they fitted the new door it was left with a scratch down the middle, they came out to 'repair' the door and whatever they used has now faded the door and the scratch is again visible it looks a mess, the chrome is also going rusty, i have tried to contact the company by telephone and email and have recieved no correspondence, seems to me that once they have your money the after sevice is non existent, very very disappointed and discusted with the service provided.

Don't go with this company. The sales guy tried to sell me £10 000 worth of product, without confirming my budget, when I said no I was discounted to £6 000 if I made the deal today. Said no I need time to think, I mean who parts £6K that quick? He phoned someone and I heard the other person tell him "we need to make the deal tonight" and told the sales guy I was informed of the prices before they came, which was not true. I felt sorry for the sales guy he was put under pressure to make a sale so much so he kept telling me the business turns over millions, which begs the question why is he so separate. I felt sorry for the sales guy, Safestyle came round to my house trying to make a fast deal and instead they were shown the door. Glad I did too. Even if the product was good enough I did not like the way they tried to steam roll a sale. Not cool, not good business and after reading these reviews glad I turned them away. Infact, I wanted the sales guy to leave but he kept trying to sell for an hour, I felt sorry for him, he finally got the message and left.

Had windows and porch installation and got fittings wrong and window and sills wrong size. Agreed to fix it before lockdown. Terrible fitting damaged porch wall leaving big cracks and gaps. Door was put on wrong way round with screws outside. Worker took off with toolbox from house and had to be chased up to return item. Sill size didnt match original porch or sills on windows. Terrible after care service despite numerous phone calls and emails. Safestyle made excuses about lockdown and that I must have had small sills before despite stone work showing lack of paint where sill covered. Also was told that photo looked like sills looked bigger and were okay which was not case large sills on windows small one inch sill on porch. Now saying that kve been refusing to let them in to fix job both pre lockdown and now which is not the case at all. Both their workmen agree that it is a mistake that needs rectifying. Door frame shaking and rattling when shut I was told by guy who installed porch that thus was a temporary fixture. While they ordered correct size window and sills. I'm really worried that this is damaging frame everytime go through door as it shakes really badly. There aftercare not interested as theh have got money off me now x
