Please think twice before using this company. We had our windows fitted 16 months ago and still waiting for a surveyor to come and inspect them. They were so badly fitted you could see daylight in the corner of the window. I could probably write a book just about the dreadful customer service. I spoke to someone from Head office called Sarah who told me she was a manager and said she would organise for the surveyor to call in April who never showed up. When I rang to find out where he was there was no record of anybody calling and there is no Sarah in head office. So whoever I spoke to lied to me. I also spoke to somebody called Nathan.who was absolutely disgusted about the way we have been treated and was sending an email to the post instalation department and also his manager. He said somebody would contact me within 72hours, and surprise nobody did, that was three weeks ago. Also apparently there's no record of me speaking to Nathan. We have had to have the frontdoor fixed 3 times within 16months. I am so upset about the way this company has treated us I am now going to speak to Watchdog because mentally I can't deal with it any more.

Do not be tempted by the cheap prices. Terrible product. Terribly fitted. Appalling customer service (they just ignore your emails and your phone calls). My door would not open as it was so stiff, I was told by the rude engineers that it was my fault that the door wouldn't open because i was 'too weak' - i live alone so i would often get locked out and have to jump the fence to get into my own home. After multiple useless engineers came round to try and fix multiple issues, i ended up getting another door from a different company which I can open! Avoid at all costs!

The door we ordered is awful. First thing was that the knocker is attached to you have the fittings showing on the inside of the door. The knocker itself is largely useless. We’ve had to have them out to fix the door twice. The letter box was leaking to the point where we had to put a towel on the floor and then once that had been fixed, the door has warped. They are now coming to fix that. And we’ve now found out that our neighbour paid less to a different company for a composite (I.e. better) door. The windows safestyle fitted are fine but I wouldn’t recommend this company based on the appalling quality of the door.

Pushy rude and arrogant ! Needed both myself and partner there which became clear was just for an immediate sale! Wouldn’t bother having them round unless you want someone to quote you for over an hour and not take a hint that you don’t want to put a deposit down there and then!

Unfortunately, we hired this company to replace windows for my home in 2015/16. Within one year of replacement, many of the windows' locking mechanisms got lost and didn’t work. At the same time, a couple of window steel channels got rusted. I contracted this company's customer service. They weren’t ready to hear my complaint. Instead, they asked me to wipe all windows and their channel after rain every time. Customer service also told me they don’t give any warranty on locks. I constantly try to talk to senior members of the company, but unfortunately, senior members are very rude and arrogant. I don’t have anymore words to express my pain. I suffered with this company. I suggest you please make sure you do your research and investigate before hiring any company. Thanks

Initial installation of green on white windows and doors was 24/3/22. On installation day they had not brought green windowsills to match. These were eventually fitted 4 weeks later after being re ordered as used 9n another job, but the end caps had not been ordered. Further visit arranged but engineer didn't turn up. Eventually after numerous calls and emails was told engineer had to go home. Further visit arranged direct with manager at service centre. No one turned up again. No communication giving reason. Again contacted customer service who has been unable to make contact with service centre through internal channels. Happy with windows and door. Not happy with after service. If you use Safestyle withhold some money untill your installation has been completed in full.

The 1 star is for the sales rep only. Placed an order for full house £16,000 happy with that and all that was shown and explained so paid £2,000 deposit with my expressed terms being agreed. ( grey internal and external and fitted before 11th June.) Surveyor came and caused damage to my existing windows. Then I received a call from the fitter to say my grey and White frames were ready to be fitted on 11Th June!!!. I advised we ordered grey/grey to which he was shocked and asked why as it was more expensive. I questioned this as was repeatedly told on initial visit there is no difference is price. Obviously untrue. I called customer service and was told I would need to pay a further £700, I was not happy and it sounded alarm bells, upon asking why ,and why the date was wrong.the agent ended the call, he then called back and said I didn't need to pay the extra and as a good will gesture they would knock £300 off the balance. I said I would discuss with my hubby. To which he then said ( that's OK I will put the order to cancellations) After several calls and emails with customer service, the agent and cancellations I was not getting the truth from any and was told I would then I wouldn't get my £2,000 back. I was persistent and the rep advised the CEO was not happy so he was offering a reduction of £3000, i asked for a full new quote which i would consider and was not committin to until i had it via email or written which was sent within 10 mins ( however it was the original order they just changed the amount and date on signature page) ILLEGAL as we never signed this new order dated in May. The signature was copied and pasted from our original order in May. I emailed the CEO and advised of the full experience and that legally they have fraudulently altered a contract and that a Rider should have been issued. I received an email from him and within a few hours received my full deposit. I have since had a local company quote for exact same order and it was £4,500 cheaper and included new sills. I do not recommend at all,

My true account based on my works only!! I had work done on 9th May 2022 overall I'm happy with the windows fitted had a nice crew The front door mechanism as resistance when turning unable to lock or use front door because I would rather wait until issue solved. Head office no problem nice people indeed.. went out of there way. My second lot of works shall be put on hold for now.. I know its a minor issue unable to use my front door for now I'm sure safestyle engineer will sort it out I'm still happy to have my second works done at a later date, locking mech on a door is only minor job. Give safestyle 4 stars this time room to improve next time around where I may give a 5 star always room for improvements Yours Mr M

Good product but a few issues that are currently not being resolved do not pay full invoice on completion customer service telephone number is a joke you cannot get through

Recently had a small window and door fitted by SafeStyle. More than happy with the window and door, Fitter was a really nice guy and helpful however scaffolding was needed for the window which was erected on my drive, '6 days' later and it's still there, blocking the drive. Called Safestyle, which on its own is a task, they must be very short staffed as they take forever to answer if they do at all, told they would sort out a collection but no feedback and lost the will to live trying to call again. No doubt they'll blame the scaffolding company. -7 days later, two more phone calls, finally told to stay on the phone and they would give me a collection date........nothing. Scaffolding still on my drive. Now informed it will be removed next week!! Suppose the moral of this is 'don't pay until they remove the scaffolding'. Sent the info as requested after my initial review and..........nothing!! Tried to call again as it is 3 weeks tomorrow since the scaffold went up and.........no reply. PATHETIC!

I didnt get to have meeting with Safestyle as they wouldnt meet me without my partner present. They were not interested that my wife trusted me to make the decision on a replacement back door and would prefer to cancel the appointment than meet me on my own. Something seems very fishy about this to me so I cancelled the appointment

Safestyle engineer came to adjust my door Dave Jones is friendly and thorough . it’s a good job your engineers aren’t like your shocking customer service team . I was told haven’t you another door you can use when I reported an issue and I’m the whole of 2022 there was no Saturday appointments available and I’d have to take a day off work to wait in . Tbh that’s if you can get through on the phone Thank you Dave for resolving my issue today! Dave is 5 stars safestyle Customer serve minus 5

Reading through some of the horror stories and comments made by customers experiences with Safestyle uk on this website is totally different to the 5 star reviews posted on Trustpilot in the last 24 hours. I tend to think this site to be more true due to my own experiences. After sales service is non existent if you have problems with doors and windows good luck getting an engineer out to solve the problem under the guarantee as they already have your money and they no longer care!!! I have had a draft blowing through my living room window all winter due to the window frame being warped and 6 months later the parts to rectify this problem have NOT YET ARRIVED I have had to re-fit all the trims on the inside of windows myself and they were attached with double sided tape and all came away from the walls within the year. My advice don't use this company.

Installation was postponed for few days and took twice longer than promised. Not finished to good standard and has to come twice after that to do final installment and snagging. One of the windows popped in just over a year and took them 2 months to arrange/book a replacement just to postpone it for another 2 months because the double glazing is not ready yet ! After 4 months of waiting??? Not ready ??? I am still waiting

Disgusting sales pitch….they sold my grandparents 2 Upvc doors and 2 windows for £5600 this is double what other firms charge for same quality. The salesman was extremely pushy and bullied them into signing on the day and paying a non refundable £1500 deposit. I am utterly disgusted with them…..this should be made illegal. Avoid at all costs if you have any decency….use local Lancashire companies….

Nightmare Where to begin... We've had windows, French doors and a front door The fitters have demanded payment on site after fitting on three occasions, despite us being told repeatedly that we don't pay until we've inspected and are happy. Windows - We were expected to check the windows in the dark and say we were happy. In the daytime we found cracks on the PVC which had been filled with mastic to try and hide them. The internal window cills were poor quality and hanging off. We didn't have restrictors fitted which we had requested. Ended up with a service engineer in for a extract day to correct all the problems. French Doors - Generally ok, however we were advised we could have fixings to hold doors open by guy who was quoting. The surveyor then told us they didn't exist and we couldn't fit our own (they do exist) otherwise we'd void warranty. Front Door - Our quote was wrong, so the surveyor (once he finally came 2/3 weeks after the quote) noted a change of design and they attempted to charge us more money which delayed the process further. Our first date was cancelled due to a factory issue. Our second date was cancelled on the morning of the proposed fitting. The manager said they tried to tell us in advance (they didn't). We still don't have a new front door 10 weeks later. That's all I can remember from the last 5 months of being a Safestyle customer, I am sure there are more issues. Can I put zero stars??? Would not recommend.

Appointment made for Tuesday evening. Half an hour after making appointment I received a call to say they had to send the salesman home as feeling I'll. Gave them a 2nd chance so arranged for Thursday evening. At the time they were supposed to arrive I received a call from the salesman saying he was unable to come as had a fever and was going to get a covid test. He then went on to offer me a quote over the phone????? "Composite doors start at £1600". Absolute sham of a company, will go elsewhere!!

We wanted a quote for a composite front door. Salesman came along spent 90 minutes going on and on showing us videos etc. Eventually gives us a quote of £5000 for the door! I said are you having a laugh? He then said,"Let me ring my manager, see what we can do". Five minutes later the new price is £2600! Now that to me is a company trying to rip me off. How many people, particularly older and more vulnerable people, will have just signed up to the original price? Absolutely disgusting. More so I tried to raise this with them through their website,twitter and email and got no response to any. SafeStyle you should be utterly ashamed of yourselves!

Sold Elderly Parents UPVC in stead of Composite door as asked for. Refused to change it even though Salesman had a number of things wrong on order. Took no notice of Legal letter and threatened elderly people with Court so they paid. Door on is damaged and lock broken attempted to fix 3 weeks ago nothing repaired heard no more. Done 3 Trust Pilots and passed on contact details. No contact. Disgusting Customer Service

My poor elderly parents have had their lives turned upside down because of this company. They make promises and send nice people. Do not believe what they say. They dont turn up, their assessors get it wrong they take windows out and disappear. Its taken so far 10 weeks from when the 1st date was given to now and still not fitted the main bay window . Read other reviews before you get quotes in which you are harassed for years!
