February 2022 we had our patio sliding doors replaced with French door with Safestyle Uk. During sales we spoke to several sales companies before going with Safestyle. We paid an extra £600 then others quote we received because we thought Safestyle to be reliable. TAKE MY ADVICE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS THIS COMPANY. Over the summer we’ve been have problems with the main opening door it started to jam so I phoned customer services which takes a good 20 mins before you get through and explained to them our problems they told me because of extreme weather conditions. I took there word and forcefully closed the door. But thing are lot verse now called to book and engineer to look at the problems but each time on the day of arrival they was a problem (either the van broken down, drivers stuck in traffic or has COVID). Today (7thSept 2022) the door will not close due to the bad workmanship (see photos of the locking plate and the drop of the door) I’ve spent most of my WFH afternoon trying to get urgent attention before night fall. Eventually got through to a more understand representative Davina who’s managed to sort out a emergency locksmith for me tonight (just have a call from Vander locksmith will be here for 8pm) hopefully my house will be secure tonight. Safestyle engineers booked for Saturday fingers crossed he turns up. Lost 4hrs work time will need to make it up Thursday & Friday.

We needed new windows and decided to go with Safestyle. BIG mistake. The Safestyle sales rep promised one thing but delivered another. He gave us an original quote of over £13,000 for 10 windows but said that due to our age (67 and 63) he could give us a one time only discount taking the price to around £10,700 which sounded good, he also told us not to tell anyone about this price reduction. He advised us that all windows and frames would be replaced for this price and pointed out where "make good" plastering might have to be done around the windows when the frames were removed and advised that our fitted blinds would have to be removed for the work to be done. When the fitters arrived to do the work it turned out that they were not replacing the frames but fitted the new windows to the existing frames. I did not know this was happening until the work was well underway and so could not stop the work. I complained to Safestyle who said that the contract I had signed stated replacement windows only but I could see nothing on the contract stating this at the time I signed it and firmly believed the sales rep when he said we would have both replacement windows and frames, otherwise why would he advise us to remove our blinds and point out where any "make good" work might need to be done. It turns out that when the surveyor came round he included a change on a confirmation statement which said to use existing frames and he asked me to sign it as it contained the same information that the original sales rep had provided. Unfortunately I did sign it without realising I was signing away the original agreement for the frames to be replaced. My fault I know for not reading through it all properly but I believe I was misled and mis-sold the products and services as what I actually received was not what I originally signed up for. I would never have agreed to the price if I had known it was windows only. Caveat emptor!

Would give no stars, windows fitted in June 21, identified immediately that there were at least six issues, 8 visits and numerous calls later two issues are still not resolved (last time they brought the wrong colour). Customer service are appalling, have requested to speak to a manager on 5 occasions, this has been ignored, even tried to contact the CEO through LinkedIn and this was blocked. Have been through FENSA twice (essentially they say it is nothing to do with them). The whole company is rotten from top to bottom.

The customer service is nonexistent. Many calls and emails, promises and no results. The windows and doors are under warranty yet not being serviced/maintained. Once at last a worker came out, bless him- the outrageous smell- just waited till out again. What he did- instead of adjusting doors, he smeared some silicone around the glass panes. Instead of exchanging window handles was about to take mine and leave an even older-not only different style but worse condition handle. When I pointed this out he swiftly put back my handle and left. Leaving his old on the counter and saying he’ll be back. Months went by never heard again.

My Safestyle contract is number 1497347 - I’m a real customer. My windows and two doors were installed at the start of June. The crew that did the work were a very cheery bunch, shame they weren’t really paying attention. Since the install one of the doors has ‘dropped’ twice meaning it can’t be opened and the other once. Each time an engineer has to visit and I have to lose a day to sit at home and wait for them. What’s really prompted the terrible review is that they don’t seem surprised or bothered by that. On my call with them this morning I was told I’d have to wait until 13th September to get an engineer for the third time - a wait of three weeks to be able to open and close my back door. When I asked to speak to someone in authority I was told that a manager could call me back ‘but it won’t be today’. Could it possibly be the case that that’s because they’ve got a big list of other unhappy customers to call? Could it possibly be the case that the three week wait for an engineer is because they haven’t fitted a lot of other things properly the first time around? I’m sure there are better companies out there… I’m only about a third of the way through replacing all the windows as I renovate my new house. There’s no way at all that Safestyle will be doing the rest of them.

Terrible customer service. As soon as the paper is signed and they know they have a sale they do not care. As a single female I was bullied into signing for work I was not happy with by the installers. They said to worse what was wrong in the sheet and it will be corrected within 2 weeks. 3 months later and a weekly phone call us got nowhere! The depot manager came to look at the windows and agreed 8 panes of glass need replacing as they are not fit for purpose, and all the windows need taking out and re-fitting as there is rotten wood left surrounding the frames! Half the windows don’t open properly, and every week when I phone I’m fobbed off with ‘the depot is relocating’ therefore nothing can be done and no one can be contacted!

Absolute Joke - DO NOT USE SAFESTYLE! They are lovely until you place an order and take your deposit. They called and cancelled the installation at 1530 the day before the booking. Lots of broken promises to return calls. When I call I have top speak to the 'manager' dealing with my case who conveniently is never at work! The Manager that eventually called me back after 8 days, Dominic, is rude and unhelpful, he even told me he would drop my order off in my garden for me to fit them! Now I have fight to get my deposit refunded. DO NOT USE SAFESTYLE!!!!

Don’t use this company. Ordered a door with leaded glass. Salesman completed the paperwork incorrectly and unfortunately we didn’t notice the error. Door fitted with plain glass. Safe style not prepared to change glass as they say they have supplied what was ordered!!

SAVE YOUR MONEY .. STAY AWAY FROM SAFESTYLE UK !!!! Rocky start from the initial appointment = Says it all 0 stars awarded overall although seems a lucky escape at the end of the day looking at other peoples reviews! Bad experience with them from the initial appointment. Safe style are sexist, unreliable and unprofessional. The initial appointment I was told instantly they cannot install patio doors at my property. Even when my neighbours had the exact same patio doors installed months prior. The worse thing was the employee had a horrible attitude and also demanding that at the second appointment my male partner be there at the same time. Even when my partner and myself had agreed on the design to show the consultant. We arranged the second quotation appointment, my partner booked time off work to be available. Then for the appointment booked to apparently be a mistake. Benefit of the doubt was given we arranged a third quotation appointment. For them again to not show up … absolute waste of time!!! Please instead spend your hard earned cash on a different local upvc company! They appreciate your custom and satisfaction from the get go. Thankfully a DIFFERENT COMPANY turned up first time and have provided a quote . Straight away!

DO NOT use this company 10 windows 1 door all either damaged fitted incorrectly. The DAMAGE to our property is over 10k carpets, curtains, sofa, vacuum, flat roof, garden and even our boat. Along with this dangerous scaffolding used which they connected to my neighbours property, so dangerous the HSE are investigating them. PLEASE USE SOMEONE ELSE.

Paid top money for front and back doors doors do not lock properly waited six weeks for first appointment which they cancelled my wife took day off work unpaid not a text email or phone call to let us know they rescheduled for mid October without letting us know this is four months wait and who knows if they will turn up the sales woman Katherine hunnisett lies like a cheap watch. Feel let down by such a big company. To cap it all they send a fensa certificate with someone else’s name on it for five windows and a door clearly not us

I ordered a new front door from this company I thinking that I might do I instalment a salesman come and I just happened to mention bout the arch above my door the sales man said he would suggest to ask the servyor. Because he didn’t know bout the arch fitting so the seryer come and told me I didn’t have to have an arch and would cost more and they would have to rip all my porch decorated which I just had done so I went ahead without having an arch fitting later I telephone the office find out how they r process is going on which I then was told it was on hold and that they were discussing my order bout the arch. I was so mad I said what you mean on hold they said I will have to have the arch weather you like it or not it has to done no I said I do not want it if I have to have it they you pay after a discussion they telephone me saying that they not doing the arch so it’s just the door they r fitting. I ssid oh right you done want to pay for the arch. Yeah very clever. And the person on the phone ssid to me in a very abrupt way you pay the remaining bill on the completetion. Oh right that won’t happen because I’m at work and I will need to see the door first before I pay. The fitting come the man was very abrupt demanding for the payment. After I return home from work I was please with my new door although I had to phone to get them to come back because my knocker was very loose. And badly fitted. So I phone them still in process to come back watch this space if they do. I’m not over happy with all the problems I’ve had to face with this company seem to be lack of communication and I will not be using them in the future as they r over price but the food looked nice. But the service is very bad and they r happy to take your money even though I paid over 1900 ahead instead of instalment it’s seem they don’t trust you and I’m a great believer that costsomer r always right never again will I used this company again

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING - DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS. We had some windows and doors installed in March - they ripped the old ones out, put the new ones in, and then realised some of the new ones were either the wrong design, or they didn't have all the parts to install them properly. We've had 3 'service visits' since, but every time they've come with the wrong parts and have been unable to resolve. We were booked in again for our fourth visit tomorrow, but just cancelled with 24 hours notice and told it will be the end of September. So we've paid for it all, but 6 months later the installation is incomplete. I would definitely never recommend using Safestyle - I wish I hadn't.

Just had the worst experience, knew the product and exactly what we wanted. Went through a 90 minute Sales Pitch and no Quotation. Informed no quotation without commitment today. Felt very uncomfortable with one way communucation. "We aren't the cheapest and will be at least 30% more than a local supplier. But we are the biggest in the UK and the best". I kept insisting that we had carried out our due diligence and wanted a quote. No quote without commtall there and then. Result a Product I wanted and no quotation, a high pressure sales pitch without a result and a potential customer saying goodbye to a Product he wanted.

A mistake by the salesman on the initial order is being ignored and misread by the so called help team. At the time of my order the SafeStyle system was not working so, I did not have the contract to see and when I did get it the pictures and description of the windows didn't make a lot of sense so I trusted the sales had got what I asked for. Phoned no reply, emailed no reply, finally got an email answer and I feel they are deliberately misreading my issue. Aftercare is poor.

The actual job was shocking and what we had agreed and paid for didn’t happen. We are still trying to get them to fix their substandard work months later. We had a engineers report (done by Safestyle) which they have refused to give us (due to the fact that it said it needed ripping out and starting again). We asked them to block up a floor to ceiling window with half brick and half window and on the day they said they couldn’t get the brick and could they use cladding. As we were planning to get it rendered we agreed to cladding but we’re later told it can’t be rendered.

Worst company I've ever had to deal with. Put in two different windows and 4 months later still not sorted. Constant lies and excuses about changing them, stay clear of this company. Complaint to them has not been followed up either.Customer service is atrocious. Lucky to get one star.

Avoid this crowd at all cost! I spent some considerable time in the double-glazing industry and I know what I am talking about. Initial introduction, April 8th 2022, was when we asked the rep to give us a quote. He was very glib and quoted us well over the odds but as we are OAP's we could get a great discount. (I believe that this practice is illegal). We accepted the quote and paid the deposit by cheque. The survey was completed on April 26th by a gentleman who was polite and very efficient. Installation was scheduled for May 23rd with the scaffolding to be erected 2-3 days before and to be removed 2 - 3 days after. 0800 hrs, May 23rd and the installers arrived but no scaffolding! They arrived some 2 hours later claiming that they were not told of the job! 1 Window was very badly fabricated, (it had been constructed from 'cut offs'). Even the installer said that he would not have it in his house! The local manager gave me over £300 discount for the window and the scaffolders being late. It took 3 days for the 8 windows to be installed. I paid the balance but made the installation team, (2 men!) aware of the following faults -a drip cover missing, several brown mastic smears on the white house render, damaged back door and scratches inside the double-glazed units. The installation crews told me that the drip cover would be posted on in a few days and an 'engineer' would visit to correct all the other snags. It took several emails and 'phone calls to Head Office to get the scaffolding removed. It took another 10 days for this to happen and they managed to damage more render and destroy a hanging basket. It might sound as if I am nit-picking but, by this time, I'm getting pretty fed up ! The 'engineer' arrived on June.13th, took some pictures and agreed that the badly fitting rear door needed replacing. He told me that the report would be in Head Office that evening. I received a call from Head Office telling me that I hadn't paid the deposit! After a lot of calls, they admitted that the deposit cheque had some-how been shredded and would I pay it again. I was very unhappy with the actions - or rather the inactions - of Safestyle and wrote them a letter of complaint. I received a standard email reply telling me that an 'engineer' would visit on September 8th. This is about 8 weeks from the initial complaint! I enquired if the 'visit' would be to rectify the snags and once again received an email reply telling me the same as before and that parts need to be ordered nearer the date. This is a long drawn out saga and I would advise any-one thinking of employing Safestyle to think again. I seriously believe that once they have got your money they really don't care. The 'after-sales service' is a joke.
