Avoid at all costs. No more words needed. Over priced, over rated bunch of cowboys. From salesmen, surveyors and fitters Shop locally for quality!

I have had a broken window and broken French doors since they were fitted over 12 months ago. I had to go through an online adjudicator to get a response from Safestyle and they eventually agreed to send out an assessor. The assessor said he would arrange for an engineer to come and replace the faulty units and took accurate measurements. I have had five engineer appointments to come out and replace them and on all five occasions the replacements could not be done as the engineer received the wrong sized window and door. When I was told on the sixth occasion that the replacements were the wrong size, I cancelled any further visits as I could not take any more days off work to be at home for engineers, and 6 failed attempts is beyond a joke. I was told that the refunds team would be in touch with me within a couple of days. Nobody contacted me. In September I called customer services again and again was told that somebody from the refunds team would be in touch with me, again, nobody got in touch. On the 19th October I sent a complaint in through the safestyle website, again, nobody has been in touch I had to register a previous complaint in order to get the scaffolding removed after installation as it was left up for more than 8 weeks after work was finished. I have never encountered such disregard for following any kind of complaints procedure let alone having an ounce of after sales care.

I had the whole of the front of my house done with Safe Style UK, 1 front door composite and 6 windows, 3 of which was for a bay window. A salesman came round and gave me a quote a little over £10000, I was offered a big discount and ended paying a little over £7600. Having done more looking in to it, are they competitive? Definitely not!!! The windows and my door, I love them, however I complained about the finish with the sealant not being neat, I complained about when the windows are open you can see several screws not in properly or even gone in at an angle. I even cut my hand on one of the screws!!! For the price I paid I’d expect perfection. This is far from. What made it worse after my 1st complaint and being told a technician will come round no one did. They called me asking if I was happy with the service, I complained to them and was told a technician will come round. Over a year on still having issues with my bedroom window which needs totally replacing as they damaged on installing. Complained only last week again, now going through another company Rimmers in Southport, a lot cheaper, excellent reviews. Safestyle have said when they get the faulty window back I’ll get a full refund for the window of £1177. The alternative they said I can keep the window as is and they’ll give me 10% back and the window loses its warranty. What a insult and joke. Avoid this company at all costs. I will be informing trading standards of all the issues over the past year plus. No doubt Safestyle shall remove this post 🤣🤣🤣

Had my windows installed 28/29 Sept, its now 5 weeks later and i'm still waiting for them to be finished. As time goes on i'm finding more faults with them and i'm having problems getting someone in charge to attend my property to discuss everything! We have leaks, windows not sealed properly, silicone on lots of my carpets and rubbish left there which has now started to block my downpipes on my guttering!

For a company that claims to be UK no.1 the lack of service and professionalism is dissapointing. I have been waiting 9+ months for my new windows and doors to be replaced since the originals were damaged by safestyle's poor installers. Almost all of our windows and doors are too small for the brick openings and, to the installer's surprise, no frame extenders were ordered for use, so the house is both much colder and way noisier. (contradicts all the guarantees made by safestyle reps) To add insult, the date for replacement also keeps getting pushed further and further back and it seems that I will have to struggle through another winter of cold drafts in a house that can't retain heat. The broken frames let wind, rain and ants in and in the wind all the windows make a cracking noise. I have even had to buy multiple items (electric blankets, warmer duvets, electric water bottles, blankets and rugs) to keep warm which safestyle refuse to compensate for. I can't ever get a response from safestyle reps on anything and am always promised a service which is never delivered. I feel very cheated of my money and time, having not negotiated on price, I paid a premium for subpar items and service and have wasted so many holidays to accommodate the ever changing dates. It's really ridiculous that I have to go to social media to try and get a response but I am struggling and out of options. I don't recommend this company and I really hope no one else buys their products.

Had our windows and doors replaced by Safestyle in 2017 so when we decided to renovate the kitchen we had no choice but to use them again to get matching windows. In 2017 they were appalling, damaging paintwork, woodwork and the overall finish was terrible. This time for a single window we figured how bad can it be. Well 48 hours before the scheduled installation they call to say they are cancelling. I said we have multiple trades booked following their visit and this would stop the installation of our kitchen the following week. The person on the phone said no problem we "will see you on Monday as scheduled" but what he cowardly did was cancel the visit when I got off the phone. This is absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable as now we have to delay everything by more than a month and leaving us with no kitchen for our 3 and 4 year old children! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Avoid this awful company at all costs - Been waiting ten months now for Safestyle to replace the defective front door they fitted. One lame excuse after another. Absolutely shocking customer service - Safestyle treats its customers with utter contempt.

Safestyle installed a back door in Jan 22. The lock has broken so the door can't be opened now. Safestyle tell me the next available appointment for a repair is over a month away. I have asked for other options as we can't access our back garden and the door was one of our fire escape routes. The best they can suggest is that someone else will cancel an appointment. Surely it is not unreasonable to expect a swift response and repair to a lock that is less than a year old. The door cost £1700 and it's disappointing that Safestyle aren't interested in customer care once they have their money. To make things even worse, Safestyle informed me that my warranty will be invalid if I arrange for a locksmith to fix the door. Outrageous.

Incompetent. Sept 2021 advised them of a blown glazing unit. Eventually they turned up in April this year. The fitter messed up one of the beardings and promised to be back the next day. Never showed. After 5 more visits including them cancelling some of my appointments and no shows on the day kept turning up with the wrong beading. Another false promise of turning up today (Oct 14th)and several complaints to customer service still have no beading in my window. Disgraceful. Would never use them again or recommend them.

Amazingly quick to come out, quoted 12k just for windows only( 3 bed but some large windows ) but 10k if I booked there and then. I wouldn't book. Had 2 other quotes from local companies with good reviews , both for just under 6.5k, upgraded to flush windows, also added new front porch door, and x2 large side windows on the porch, and all for 9k locally. Please get quotes from more than one company.

This company can no longer surprise me! The 10 year warranty they offer is not worth the paper it’s written on and most of there fitters are near to useless it getting anything right! Nearly 3 years since installation and I’m still waiting! Avoid this place unless you want a nervous breakdown!

Paid a lot of money for two doors less than 2 years ago. Was quire pleased with service (apart from pushy salesman) and product. However the frame has cracked on the back door and is now dangerous as I am tripping over it. I invested in the doors for security and peace of mind after being widowed, now I’m at risk of falling!!! I contacted the firm to be told that the frame does not come under the 10 year guarantee and would have to pay £2-300 for replacement. I then asked if someone could come to look at it in case it could be repaired any cheaper and was told that would cost an extra £72. I have put some tape over the offending crack and loose draught excluder for safety. What a disgrace the after service care is if it exists at all. I was planning to get some windows replaced by them but, needless to say, that will not be happening. BE AWARE THAT THIS COMPANY IS NOT ‘SAFE’ at all and go elsewhere.

Avoid at all time. Extremely pushy sale person. I asked for one day to think about the quote (£5700 for 7 windows and a door) but they unreasonably rejected saying if I don't sign a contract today the price would be £14K by tomorrow. They rather lose a genuine customer. So They have lost me forever and gained a bad review. Very bad experience from the start.

We ordered a new front and back doors, 3 replacement windows and 3 windowsills. At time of sale we were promised 5 keys for the door, only received 3, unable to order extra keys as the paperwork with our special code on was not passed onto us. Front door lock originally fitted the wrong way round - fitters corrected. 2 of the windows do not close easily, everytime I go to close the windows I feel as if I am forcing them. Fitters dropped cement onto our radiator in the front room, didn't clean up, we also have smears all over our paintwork. The bathroom windowsill has just had a PVC hat put on to in as when the surveyor came round he informed us that hardwood in a bathroom was not suitable, fair enough, but when my husband explained to me we would be getting a pvc windowsill he was not corrected. Original bathroom windowsill has a crack in and is soaking up the water from the shower. The PVC windowsill hat is not sealed at the ends nor underneath, causing the water from the shower to still get into the old windowsill, meaning that in a few years it will cause the window to need replacing. Only when I contacted the provider of the front door lock was I then informed by Safestyle that they would be providing me with a new lock and keys - Will I get the paperwork with the code this time? This was supposed to happen mid September, Engineer called in sick, COVID related, understandable, husband had booked the day as holiday, completely wasted as there are only 2 engineers for each area. Was promised a date of fixing of Sat 1st October, only to be informed that this is now not happening due to the engineer not being able to work (not illness related). Unable to get any engineers from other areas to cover. Now won't get sorted til Mid October!!!!!!! Windows and doors were fitted in August. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

Had 14 windows and 2 doors fitted on the 31/8/22 and this is the standard of their work, Had fire hinges put on windows,it states by building regs that a fire escape windows must open to 450mm ours only open 260 mm so miss sold windows as a registered disabled person if there was a fire i would be unable too get out, phoned 4 times in the last 4 weeks, had one of their engineers out and said all the windows and doors are fitted incorrectly need to take out and refilled and reconfigure , but keep using excuse saying that they need a report from building control ,that won’t sign of my extension till I have fire escape access, in 2 bedrooms and front room

Absolutely a joke of a company got a damaged door within a few weeks of installation we rang to get repaired and was on hold for an hour so had to hang up as soon as we rang the line where u wanted to buy something was answered with a minute people stay away an the sales rep was a scammer wanted 100 pound cash of us why we wanted the windows he didn't do any extra work please people stay away they only got 1 star review of us cause couldn't go any lower

After problems during the installation, dates wrong etc. We currently ahve a front door which is not able to be Used as It cannot be locked if unlocked. A failure of an engineer came in July and bascially undid the work done by the emergency locksmith. Another 3 months wait for an appointment and then the apoinment is moved. Safestyle cannot understand that 4/5 months unable to use our front door is not acceptable and keeps threatening us with invalid warranty if we use a local company to repair their faulty workmanship.

They have the worst customer after sales of any company, very little care for fixing their own mistakes. I have had a broken window from installation for over a month now with still no date for even the repair to occur. Avoid this company, there are other options for new windows and doors.
