Asked salesman to leave after 5 minutes of aggressive sales he was insisting we both sign on the day etc. Spoken to friends who experienced similar sales techniques even found it difficult to get salesman out of house after a few hours. Not a professional company obviously

Well to say I’m not impressed is an understatement.... Made an appointment, for today at 11-1130 and they can’t even keep that.... lol So they’ve lost the work, but I’m sure their that successful they won’t worry in the slightest..... S Horobin Lincolnshire

We originally opted for a upvc door but the site survey highlighted that we could not have one due to the current building regulations and the required walk through. Upgrading to a more expensive composite door was suggested as this would meet the required regulations. When the new composite door was fitted it had been made to the wrong size (upvc size) therefore its not to the current building regulations. They send a surveyor out again who confirmed this. Customer services eventually called to discuss the problem and tried to fob me off by saying they couldn't make it to the building regs. Strange how they send me a FENSA certificate self certifying that it is to regs. Tried to escalate the complaint but a week later and still waiting to hear back. Presume I will have to take this further to get resolution. Such a shame as the door is good quality and sensibly priced.

HORRFIC COMPANY AND STAFF My experience with Safe Style isn’t in regard to a sale but the actually people they hire and their staff, on the 21st of September I started my job marketing for safe style. When I arrived in the morning things were okay and I came to the realisation that I was the only female there for the day. We went out (there were 5 of us) and everything was okay for a while, they were talking about woman and having general “guy chat” I let it go over my head and thought nothing else off it. During lunch that’s when thing started to go downhill, we were all sat round a table outside where one of the two guys in charge was smoking marijuana, burning maggots and they were all talking about women they were seeing, were interested in and what they wanted to do to them. A part from some disgusting comment about women and talking about drugs it was also mentioned that he had to go buy “Viagra” of his “dealer” because it was cheaper than a pharmacy. This was also followed by comments such as “I drive past a rapeseed field sometimes and shout out the window I love the smell of rape in the morning” again making me feel very uncomfortable. After lunch we had to go back out again and I was put with the guy who smoked marijuana at lunch and then drove, I didn’t know what to do in the situation as again I was the only girl and felt to uncomfortable to say anything to anyone, I was texting my boyfriend who at the time was at work and was concerned for my safety. Once I got home we decided we needed to make a complaint so we tried to call and once we did some gentleman told us that we would get a phone call within 48 hours which we never received we then called again we were told that we would get another phone call as soon as possible which we never received record again a few days later and we were told that somebody would definitely be getting back in contact with us again nothing so then my boyfriend called today and spoke to somebody higher up where assuming, he was very blunt and rude to him and tried to turn the situation on me saying if I felt uncomfortable I should’ve got out the car and not having any sympathy not telling us anything that has happened or will be happening and we don’t know what to do hence why we are getting in contact with yourselves. The company is clearly very male dominated and I know that’s no excuse but that’s how it’s coming across the night this all happened I messaged the branch manager (who was on holiday but not out of the country) to get in contact ASAP which never happened. I’m extremely angry that they are not being considerate and I’m very disappointed in the company. The job it’s self is commission only but for the first 8 weeks you get a small basic wage, when I went for the interview I was told how amazing it is and money opportunities which I’m sure the is but it’s was a horrible horrible experience and I want to make it known so no one else (especially young females like myself) fall into the trap It’s now been three weeks we received a call last Monday saying 2 of the guys have been suspended, we were told we would receive another call by Wednesday and haven’t heard anything its now getting ridiculous. I’m aware this review is not in regards to a sale and purchase but more on the company its self and how they act in this situation.

Shocking after service - left the property with holes between the walls and frames, the wrong sized sill so water just ran down the brick work and it took over 2 months and multiple promises of dates to repair not happening. If its done right first time great, if not shocking!

Initially pleased with installation of French patio doors. But the problems soon appeared. To date 11 calls for a service engineer, the last call no engineer available for 4 weeks despite unable to secure the doors. Locksmith came late evening the next day and managed to secure. Still no engineer. 4 emails and letters of complaint - no response. Nearly 3 hours on the telephone in Sept, no resolution. Be warned: Customer service does not exist; queries not resolved and those local engineers - not near Eastbourne! This company boast big but does not deliver when there are problems. The product looks good but is poor quality. Advised the door frame has not been fitted square, hence the doors do not hang right and the security bolts/locks can't engage. Not sure how company got the Government Trust Mark but it doesn't deserve it! Avoid at all costs. Recommend Safe Style? I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!

I genuinely can't warm you strongly enough not to use this company. I had Windows installed in June. You will have scaffolding for any Windows above ground floor, and they will be there for about a week before the installation, and then for around about two to three weeks afterwards. The scaffolders won't have been told what the job involves, so will have to come back twice, and argue with the fitters as it has be installed incorrectly. This means on the day of installation, the fitters won't start until the scaffolders return. The fitters meanwhile, will leave a mess in every room they go to. There will be expanding foam on walls, bedsheets and the carpet. You will have to repaint one room due to handprints in silicone on the walls, and replace a windowsill in another. All of this will not become apparent straight away as you will be too focused on the fact that the locks on several of the windows are incorrectly positioned and won't lock. This will handily focus you on the fact you now, thanks to safestyle, have a handy ladder to a now insecure window or three for easy burglar access. Just to ensure your home is now fully open to the elements, most of the trickle vents will be poorly fitted and stuck open. You have to hand it to safestyle, as for the sake of completeness, they will also ensure that one of your fire escape windows will not open without shoulder barging the lock, to ensure you really mean it when you need the window open. Fortunately, Safestyle will send an engineer to fix this minor failings. He will arrive pretty much at random and with no parts to fix anything. Expect them to disassemble one of the locks, making another window insecure, state its not their problem, it will have to be rebooked and leave. Never fear, Safestyle will leap to a speedy two month response time, and then ignore any and all contact as you try to tell them the day they have randomly assigned may not be suitable. Even asking for an afternoon appointment time is far too cheeky, as their engineer will eloquently point out when you say you can make 11am at a stretch. The excitement and adventure of attempting to hold Safestyle to their promised standard is truly something the courts alone may be able to quell. Honestly, I had used safestyle before and they were fine, but on the basis of this occasion, you will be better off with any other supplier. I do not know what has changed, but I will avoid them in the future and will tell any and all they would be better off never engaging with them.

I have just had a Safestyle salesman visit to quote me for a Composite Front Door, after deciding the style and fittings etc this door would cost £3282.00 but could be discounted to £2138.00, however if I agree to complete today the price quoted would be £1820.00 with a fitting date of 30/10/2020. How on earth could the cost of the same door change over a matter of minutes when like quotes from other reputable companies are in the region of £1300.00 for a comparable door. Please be aware of this sales pitch. I do have the written evidence to support this Review PMc

Awful experience with Safestyle. They came and replaced all our windows and two doors in June, and the installation was done very poorly. The trim was excessively large, none of the joints were mitred, there's silicone all over the window frames and trim, an end cap wasn't put on one of the sills, they attempted to fill a massive hole they made in the wall with silicone rather than re-plastering it, and it looks generally like shoddy workmanship. We had to chase them up repeatedly to get someone out to look at the issues we had, which took at least a month or so. Eventually when someone came out to make repairs he gave up half way through because he couldn't manage it by himself, and as he had removed some of the trim that was installed we're now left with a hole in our living room ceiling due to the installers ripping the windows out too quickly and causing a lot of damage. They're refusing to come out until mid November to rectify the issues, so that's 5 months after the initial installation. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer services we've had very little contact throughout, and they're not helpful at all. We highly doubt the job will be done to a satisfactory standard whenever they finally attend, however that is yet to be seen. We will never be using them again.

Safestyleent me a contract which I accepted.Their surveyor duly surveyed and without me noticing he altered the contract(back door)from frosted glass to plain glass. There is a large ,busy factory l ess than 20 feet from ths door. Two months ago as a Gesture of goodwill they agreed to change it. Since then the gentleman concerned ignores all communications. My son has pursued this matter and it seems they blamed me for using an incorrect email address (last week) Perhaps something will be done? We put a deposit on window 30th July. The window was booked in for Monday 21st to be fitted, I’ve just been called to be told it’s been cancelled due to restricted access as the window is in a cellar. There are steps to the cellar and neither the salesman or surveyor said there was any issue. To decide a few days before a fit date is an absolute joke.
