“I was very happy with the price of my Saga policy and all dealings with the company. However, whether I renew my Saga policy will depend on the quote I receive when it is due for renewal in April. I have found it is often the case that new customers are given preferential treatment and those who would prefer to remain loyal to one company are penalised. Hopefully, this will not be the case with Saga.”

“Insurance as good as can be expected. when I take the compulsory excess payment into account I have NO COVER on my car should it be damaged by vandals, theft, or fire. Had to accept insurance for less than the cost I made for the car. To be realistic it gives me LEGAL insurance to be on the road and nothing more.”

“3 weeks a go had collision with my car, rang to report. told to go to arepairer .their choice.did not like repairer.to this I never heard aword from them.very very unhappy with saga”

“We have two cars and have been with Saga at different times for many years. We have found the service provided excellent particularly when our son visited from Canada and for very reasonable fee they insured him on my wife's car for his holiday in UK.”

“Claim passed to another Company to deal with. Too many different organisations became involved and the final cost of the claim seemed to increase everytime, particularly from the car hire for a replacement car whilst repairs were slowly being carried out . Car hire cost for 2 weeks in excess of £4000!!”

“Found them to be very helpful they did no pressure sales what you wanted you got. I had rac cover but they could get it cheaper included it in my premium saved me more money. Hopefully they do the same this year.”

“No trouble so far and excellent customer service when I had to make a claim. Car replacement was delivered to me and my car was taken in for repair at the same time. Repair which was quite substantial took about 7 working days and was returned to me and the hire car taken back at the same time. I did not have to travel anywhere or do anything as everything was taken care of from my address. Saga were one of the cheapest quotes but I am very impressed with the service so far. You do have to be over 50 to apply though. I just hope they do not increase the premium too much when next renewal comes around but time will tell. I would recommend Saga car insurance to anyone over 50 based on my customer service experience with them so far.”

“SAGA's website is very good and the simple set-up systems they have in place at the initial stage of the process are easy to follow, thus providing a very effective service at this stage. Fortunately, I have not had reason to test their actual service in dealing with claims.”
