bought a £200k house and a 10k car yet saga refused me when I wanted to pay monthly and the blamed it on experian...my rating with them is 976

Saga worst insurance company can not get through then get cut off countless emails asking to contact us. Had a car accident no fault of mine on 27 th of march 2022 still not repaired

My advice is never insure with Saga 1 email to tell me to contact claims to discuss car being written off. Two weeks of leaving messages and emailing no body replies. My advice is to find another company............ SAGA is the worst i have ever delt with.

Saga must be the worst company to deal with as you cannot speak to anyone or emails are ignored , at last today I have a response and the say that the cannot find any of my details this is from a crash that was not my fault on the 11th of May the car I have been told by the insurance repair garage that it is a write off still waiting to hear anything from Saga ,I am furious at the amount of time I have wasted 40 phones calls or more to Saga then say we are sorry but cannot take your call we are to busy absolutely ridiculous,

Don’t have a collision with one of their customers… you’ll be chasing your tail to get your access back!! No one answers the phone, they don’t answer emails. Been trying to sort this since august 2021.. it’s now June 2022. I could not imagine being their customer… no one is willing to help.

Scammers still not fixed my car 7 months on after there customer hit me they fob you off never answer the phone never reply to emails or call back avoid at a must spent over 19 hours on the phone and that’s when you can get through court is the only Soloution now , avoid at a must

i would give saga no stars if i could,i had my catalytic converter stolen from my vehicle on 31st march and gave them details same day,they told me my car would be a total loss as it was an old car and i couldnt have a courtesy car as it is a theft,i have been phoning and emailing them to no avail eventualy engineer came out 28th april and looked at it and took pics and said it would be total loss,since then i have been calling aprox 40 times all i get is a message saying due to global events they cant answer the phone and email says they will get back to you but they never do,i'd like to know what global events are stopping them answering the phone or email for a total loss claim yet they answer the sales line no problem,i have now been waiting over 2 months with no car like a prisoner in my own home,cancelling appointments then rebooking and rebooking again,i would never use saga again.I did do a review on trustpilot but i think they delete bad reviews i wonder if this will be removed also i dont understand how they get such a high rating with so many bad reviews

Straightforward home insurance theft claim. After 6 months I am still awaiting them to settle the claim or refuse it. No communication or response to my emails or phone calls.

saga home insurance - totally abysmal. Still awaiting service 7 weeks after our claim. At least 30 min wait on the phone to be told they will ring us back within 48 hours .... they never do !

After being a customer for over 10 years had to do complete new quote as card had expired but instead of a phone call or a letter sent email which went in junk so then sent letter for policy cancelation for £34 so i phoned to sort this out then they wanted over double total rip off

I thought this company would look after the older person. How wrong can you be? If you have all of your smarts, never insure anything with SAGA. In short, they are on a level with Churchill. Stay away!

Horrendous experience. Saga are brokers and trying to contact them is a nightmare. They deal with IMS who are also a nightmare. 4 weeks after an accident my husband is still in the dark about the situation. No I wouldn't use Saga again

Awful nightmare of an insurance company. Truly awful. They treat customers disgracefully by a) raising your renewal premium to an extortionate level after you've had your car stolen (thereby punishing you for being a victim of car theft and adding to the trauma of that experience) and b) refusing to deal with you professionally, efficiently and courteously (arguing, promising callbacks that don't happen, hanging up the phone, hiding behind so-called legal guidelines to justify dragging their feet over your issues, fobbing you off with "it's not my department", etc. etc.) Numerous phone calls last week and today and still no closer to any kind of a resolution. Shame on you, Saga!!! If you're trying to turn a loyal customer into an ex-customer, you've done a brilliant job!!!

Took home insurance with them last year on a 3 yr fixed price. They were more expensive than others but the attraction of 3 yrs fixed price swayed it. Not just on price, but the fact I wouldn’t have to spend hours on the phone next year looking for quotes. When you have complicated needs as far as values are concerned then this isn’t a simple process. Coverage world wide, outside of home, posssessions whilst out of the home, single item limits etc. So when the renewal turned up ( note no claims were made) we were surprised to see an email asking for info like age of house, trees location etc ( considering this is contents only why ask??). We challenged the questions and it took them nearly 2 weeks to come back and demand the answers as they had changed underwriters. So another hour on the phone talking to them turns out their underwriter had decided to remove flood cover from the policy. They then said they could cover me for the same money ( close to £700 premium ) but without flood cover. We live in a safe area, no history of flooding anywhere near us. Long story short, they say the 3 year fixed price is subject to terms ( no where does it say they’ll charge the same for half the cover!!!). Furthermore, I’ve ended up insuring with one of their underwriters through another broker. Yep, same underwriter!!! So tell me Saga, the only reason you won’t honour the fixed price deal is because your underwriter wants to charge you more, NOT because they won’t provide the cover. That makes you Saga, one of the most dishonourable companies I’ve come across in insurance. I own three companies and spend a fortune in insurance - never come across these type of people before.

Insurance is only as good until you have make a claim. Saga is a terrible company to deal with. Still waiting to settle a claim after two months. Nil communication. So may telephone calls to them, You can spend many hours on the phone and nobody can sort your query. This posting will probably be replied as - 'contact customer service'. Well you cant. Official complaint to follow.

I’m a vehicle repairer and my customer wanted me to repair their vehicle. It took innovation group who handle their claims nearly a month to agree to repairs. Most companies take 3 days. Awful to deal with.They stipulated 45 days to pay. They are late with payment as well now. I am now about to hand account to a debt recovery agency. Worst company I have every dealt with in 23 years. Awful people awful service . I wouldn’t recommend anyone to insure with them. My customer was elderly and awaiting an operation so I didn’t want to burden her with chasing them up. A telephone call everyday for 3 weeks . What a joke

Very poor service. Waiting for over two months for repairs to my car. Phone lines never appear to be open. Never return calls. My worst experience with an insurance company.

Customer service is non existence They are a complete disgrace There's a message to say they will call you back within 24hrs Which is totally a lie as They never do Will never recommend to anyone Totally a disgraceful company
