"I rang them up to change car details which took 2hrs to get through to as I was picking up a new car from dealership as I needed proof of insurance on a Monday morning, details weren\u2019t sent rang back on Tuesday morning which took over an hour and explained the problem, which I was told policy would b emailed to me within 5min, which it wasn\u2019t m, had to ring back Wednesday morning and explain again which then the policy was send to me, very poor service "

I waited 27 minutes for the phone to be answered. When it was finally answered I had to get my Husband (who is partially Deaf) to confirm it was ok for me to answer questions to get a Motorhome Quote. When I got back on the phone the operator said he hadn't completed the Data Protection Information so couldn't take me any further until he had spoken to my Husband again. It was extremely annoying as he was working up a Ladder. I had also got quotes from 3 other companies for a New Quote & not one of them had needed to speak to my Husband. 🤷‍♀️ I had tried to get a Quote on the Internet before phoning but couldn't get passed a certain question so it said I had to phone. Extremely Frustrated at waiting so long, unable to proceed on the Internet put the phone down. Extremely Annoyed at this moment in time 😡

Bought shares in this company when they floated Had the maximum ÂŁ1,600 as was cut back Started Ok, then taking my eye off the ball realized some the board had AMAZINGLY reduced my shares in a 1 for 15 my money vurtully disappeared Emailed the chairman told him hes a theif got reply from some lacky This is daylight robbery BUNCH OF T**ts

Just about everything. We went on a ‘small ship Croatia cruise, on a boat named Dalmatia. Various changes made the places visited and some took hours to reach but minutes to see! Cabins small and beds cramped. Bathroom wet as shower curtain too short. Sink and shower tsps auto change temperature up to scalding and down to really cold. Main deck cabins under dining room so noise resembled being under a bowling alley. Minimal food choice and quality to match. Staff friendly but overworked. Saga CEO written to but no response yet. Best tip, stay home or travel with another company.

I made a claim against my contents insurance for a Sony smart tv which was accidentally damaged. The tv cost £600 albeit 5 years ago and I was offered £23. Obviously I have decided not to go ahead with the claim. Won’t use them again and can’t wait for my policy to expire. Customer service was appalling

My Grandma recently passed away. Shockingly bad service from Saga. Unsympathetic call handlers. I've been asked why I didn't cancel her insurance policy on the day of her death. And I've now found out that refunds are not given on policys if the amount is a penny under ÂŁ5 pounds. Not the money that's important more the principal. Death is big business apparently, shocking how much profit they will be making by doing this.

Saga car insurance sold add ons at Che kout that later they won't honour. There customer services are awful and after 4 weeks I've still got no answers. Even the director doesn't care as emailed him too Absolutely dusgusti g guts promised call backs, no notes put on system etc staff just don't care

Do no insure you car with SAGA, cannot speak to anyone and just keep getting transferred to different people and in one case a totally different insurance Company. I am appalled with the customer service and will never use them again.

I took out SAGA insurance because I am elderly live alone and in not particularly good health so I went for the supposedly caring insurance company. I was about 100% wrong. The SAGA of my claim. Half hour wait on the phone.”Oh your insurance is not with Saga Sir we’ve pass it on to,LV.”.Another half hour on the phone. “Oh your insurance is not with LV sir we’ve passed it on to Highway Insurance”. I asked for Highways contract details. LV couldn’t provide them. I wasn’t subsequently surprised they were next to unfindable on the net. I eventually got in touch and explained the nature of my buildings claim. “Oh we only insure motor vehicles I’m afraid sir”. I put in a complaint to Saga and given my vulnerable circumstance it was upgraded to their highly inappropriately named Rapid Responder team. That was five days ago. My problem in my only habitable bedroom my large double glazed window frame has been damaged and now can’t be closed. I am cold. What I would like from the amusingly called Rapid Responders is the name of my insurer so I can get my window fixed. All these funmisters at the Rapid responders team have told me in reply to my emails in the last five days is they are working on this apparently unsolvable conundrum as to who actually they have passed my policy on to. The weather outside is currently-1 centigrade. In my bedroom it’s probably 7/8 degrees. Thanks guys I really appreciate your efforts, I will probably change my Review rating if you succeed in your Herculean task by let’s say,July.

Saga holidays customer service department is abysmal. I have been waiting since 7th December for a refund and as at 31st December I have not received it despite many many phone calls

**STAY AWAY** An absolute nightmare and incompetent company. Please read for your own benefits. I made a non-fault claim back in October when a speeding third-party tried to overtake me and hit my car. It took THREE days of my calling Saga to finally record the details of what happened and claim to be raised. After a WHOLE month and 18 back-to-back emails asking silly questions like: • “how long have you lived at your address”, and • “Do you take the car to work and where do you park it?” Saga failed to obtain the liability from the third-party’s insurer. They did not bother to check the CCTV of shops where the accident occurred. After 2 months of constant pointless calls asking to explain how the accident happened OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, Saga cancelled on me. I found this out when I called for an update and was told today was my last day, when I asked for an explanation, Saga claimed they sent me a letter 10 days prior — BOLD FACED LIE! Stay away from this company. They might be offering cheaper price and now more than ever everyone is concerned about money but pay the few quid more elsewhere.

Have been insured with Saga for the last couple of years , I have full ncb , and have my wife as a named driver .My wife had a accident , in her own car not mine , which is insured with a different company , it was not her fault the other driver admitted it was there fault, and there insurance paid out . Since then my wife has renewed her insurance for another year NO INCREASE IN PREMIUM. Saga however virtually doubled mine . WHY ? its a mystery I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Still waiting for a non fault claim as the third party to be sorted from 9th Sept 2022. Their customer service is shocking with every excuse under the sun been given.Tip is never ever use Saga for any insurance.Not worth even one star!

Avoid this company (together with Acromas, FMG and CHMC) at all costs for motor insurance. If I could give it a -5 score I would do. Reasonable service until you make a claim, then absolutely abysmal. My car was written off on 25 June and I am stiil awaiting financial settlement (circa ÂŁ30,000) When you finally get through by telephone they say that you cannot be put through. They will ask the appropriate person to ring back. I have phoned on many occasions and no one rings back. Saga Saga get a overall score of over 4 on Trustpilot, but this is far from the truth regarding motor claims. If you drill down in to the the reviews of motor insurance claims only these tell a very different story with a very low average score. Apart from total incompetence, I think that there are significant underlying matters such as resourcing and financial issues, not to mention Saga's much reduced productivity by allowing many staff to work from home AVOID SAGA MOTOR INSURANCE Ps the day after I put the above review on Trustpilot, I was actually contacted by Saga and we agreed a valuation for the car written off. That was two weeks ago and I am still awaiting payment. My accident occurred over 4.5 months ago - pathetic

i think there a con , dont bother there are plenty of good geniune insurance companys go for them, they advertise free breakdown on compare the market who advertise for them but when you take out the car insurance you dont get it,i wouldnt go with them again or recommend ,

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst car insurance company that I have had the misfortune to deal with. I made a non-fault claim in May 2022. Saga failed to obtain the liability from the other insurer resulting in me having to pay my excess for the repairs! They lost evidence sent to them. They seem to ignore the fact I had a police car right behind me who provided me with all the details I needed for my claim. I have not been kept updated from Saga, despite their boasts that they do. Saga have appeared to just not care. I have formally complained to them and have now referred the matter to the Financial Ombudsman (as instructed by their own complaints handler!) So much for caring for older people!!

If l could leave a worse review than one star l would Holiday to Sorento Flight changed very short time before departure incurring extra expenses due to changes having to be made to car parking accommodation and travel Trying to get an answer via phone is almost impossible, 2 hour wait to be answered, call handler basically metaphorically shrug their shoulders No help Tried calling at 5 pm and despite web site saying open till 5.30 recorded message saying lines closed Doubt very much that l will use SAGA ever again. Customer service is disgusting and makes what should be a pleasant experience very stressful Web site says tickets will be despatched 2 wks before holiday now 48 hrs to go and no tickets Now sitting waiting for phone to be answered, started ringing 9am still waiting, now 10.02 am

Home Insurance renewal price very, very expensive. Decided not to renew and purchased elsewhere very much cheaper. Total unaware that an autorenewal was ticked: this not mentioned in email or renewal letter. Over ÂŁ320 deducted from my account and 'oh boy' - is it difficult to get hold of this company. After being on hold for 45+ mins I was allowed to cancel a policy that I did not want. I was made to agree to their cancelation policy in order to cancel the damned thing. Their policy is that I won't get all my money back. After complaining that I had now been on the phone for almost an hour, I was offered ÂŁ15 to 'my Saga account'. Hardly any use as I am not going to go near Saga again and even though i tried to set up an account I never found my policy on it. I must now wait and see what they actually pay me, or probably better I have to go via my credit card company and open a dispute and do it that way.
