“Found the process easy and all documents were clear and easy to understand. Also I also dealt with a person not an automated system. I have insured with Saga before and found there systems had stood the test of time.”

“As usual the renewal quote came through significantly more than last year and on querying the quote SAGA were able to reduce it by £100 but was still £120 more expensive than the comparable quote from elsewhere. £220 saved for 15 minutes effort.”

“You wait up to half an hour for a response to a telephone call to make a booking...and so far 2 days to see whether they have been able to confirm my booking. One of THE worst travel companies for phone booking.”

“Unless there are two totally different companies trading as SAGA, then you should look long & hard at SAGA and think before taking any insurance out with them. They are only agents and although work hand in Glove with the insurance companies they pass all responsibility and basically shaft the customer when assistance is needed. as below explains; . After many years with SAGA. I like so many reviews here found them to be good for price. Alas that should raise several warning bells. as after many (over 11) claim free years (40 years driving) the following happened. I experienced a incident last year where a van caused a crash for cash incident. No damage to me but presented a many thousand £ claim. And despite my first reporting to Police and fully detailing matter to SAGA. (but not making any claim as the 30mm paint chip to my N/S bumper corner/edge was not worth claiming & marking record for) Providing police report and all letters to & from, and also to their insurers AXA Insurance LTD (SAGA are only agents they don't insure you) they increased my insurance by over 50% (£100+) and reduced my NCB this despite it being totally claim free & 11years protected. Which I paid extra to protect NCB. Now left saga and they have left the penalty to file. and despite many many requests they wont correct file blaming Axa Insurance & they in turn passing the proverbial bat back to SAGA. leaving the scammer richer by thousands & me penalized by marked NCB file Although I never made any claim on the policy, they still increased.and marked NCB file. Beware when insuring with saga !!! .Avoid SAGA and AXA Insurance. . I bet they won't publish this review.”

“After many years with saga treated appallingly After many years with SAGA. I like so many reviews here found them to be good for price. “Home and contents insurance. September 2013 = £212 p.a. September 2017 = £478. There have been NO claims or additions made! I have asked them to justify this exorbitant increase and await their reply, but I believe they just load the premium at each renewal and hope the elderly clients just allow auto-renewal to take place. This is a company that suggests it is looking after older clients...........disgraceful. I will be telling anyone who will listen to avoid them like the plague.”

“changed to saga motor insurance [saved aprox 70 pounds] just changed cars reasonable charges. for change over insurance comes up for renewal 3 months time will have to see if renewal premium is REASONABLE.???. i hope so.”
