I loved everything about this box! It was my first from this company and I was delighted that each item had a full description, plus a history of its origin. I've only tried a few of the sweets so far but each one was delicious! I was excited to receive two different types of tea to try and particularly enjoyed the delightfully named shichifukucha, which translates to Kissho Seven Deities Tea. Kissho, from what I read, is a prayer for elements of human happiness such as health, beauty, and serenity. I think I will be ordering tons of this tea in the future!

Love it! I thought it was a little expansive, but very worth it after I received the first box.

I was born in Yokohama almost 75 years ago; lived in Tokyo and Hokkaido for several years, the most recently 30+ years ago. I now live in Denver, CO. My daughter gave me 3 month subscription this past Christmas and I have really enjoyed your packages for 2 months now. Am seriously considering extending my subscription!

I have been thoroughly enjoying my New Year's in Niigata box! I love everything in it- the adorable little sake cup, the amazingly refreshing tea, the delicious senbei and cute bunny treats, the fresh strawberry flavor in the crepe... all of it is awesome! It has been a great pick-me-up during a time when I've really needed it. I even got the best possible fortune. I love how the booklet has so many cultural and historical details, too. The customer service is very good. They are good about refunds.

I paid for three (3) 12-months gift subscriptions (Sakuraco, YumeTwins & nomakenolife) which are to be shipped to Vietnam. The order number are: T48876170, T48876197 & T48876179. At USD 500 plus each these are obviously very expensive subscriptions. It is February 2023 and our January 2023 box has yet to arrive. The shipping company DHL is requiring a lot of information that we don’t have as they mentioned it is needed by Vietnam custom. The information they require for the 3 boxes include: number of items, brand, size, weight & ways of packing for every single item in the boxes. Obviously we do not have such information. Not to mention, as the contents of the boxes are meant to be gifts, if the recipient have to do this every time for the next 12 months it sorts of defeat the purpose. When we used Bokksu (also shipping from Japan to Vietnam) their shipment simply arrived without any questions or inquiries from custom. I reached out to customer support and got an answer that they will look into it. That was on Jan 17, 2023. Until now (Feb 1, 2023) there has been no update, no solution. I am not happy at all after having paid that a massive amount of money and having zero customer support whatsoever. I'm requesting for a refund and instead go with Bokksu instead in the future. I have neither the time nor the willingness to be filling up millions of custom forms every month just to receive some silly snacks.

I just received my January package on the afternoon of 1/30/23. I’m frankly paying quite a bit for the shipping in relation to the price of the box. I should have received this much sooner.

A great way to sample some uniquely Japanese products in your own home. High quality snacks. A mix of sweet and savoury. Not all vegetarian friendly. Some include fish or meat product. If you don't eat these, be sure to have someone who will appreciate them for their superior quality. I have purchased 11 boxes and find they can be a little repetitive at times. A little expensive. Subscription is billed using USD rather than the yen. Shipping varies from a fast 1 week delivery to a worrying 3 week delivery. Most boxes arrive within 2 weeks. Boxes are NOT trackable once they leave Japan, to Australia at least. The idea is great and a lot of thought goes into each box and the accompanying booklet. Overall, a lovely cultural and gastronomical experience which my family enjoys once a month.

I've received two boxes so far and I absolutely loved everything that was included in them. They're carefully curated with traditional snacks from a different specific location in Japan each month, and there's a little something for everyone's taste - there are both sweet and savory treats in the selection, as well as a kitchenware item. They come with a neat and informative booklet, and a lovely postcard, too. The boxes are perfect for a gift, or just to treat yourself. Definitely recommended.

A wonderful way to enjoy culture and food. Each month is a whole new experience and peak into the world of Japan. Not everything can be my favorite but I love trying each one with studying the dishware that comes with.

I heard about Sakuraco when viewing Takashii as he mentioned it. It took some time prior to my getting the website. I simply love this idea of the founder, Ms. Chikamoto. I love Japanese packaging from the box to each item, even the box that the sake cup came in. The detail of each item in the booklet which helps because though a Japanese American, I do not read nor write Japanese. I can speak enough to get by. I look forward to each and every month and commit myself to continue receiving each month's box. My son told me that you have an ad on YouTube, however, I did not see it before Takashii mentioned it. I will encourage everyone of my associates, colleagues and friends about Sakuraco!!! Simply Love It!!! Mahalo nui loa from Hwaii nei, Jean P.S. it arrived 5 days before DHL advised me.

The packages of the different items are so happy looking. I'm in love with the Sakuraco Sake Cup. I will have to keep it away from my husband since he loves sake. The little Rabbit Hozui is almost too cute to eat, but I am. I saw the preview for next month and cannot wait. My students all feel that I'm just extending my love of the k dramas I watch to my eating habits.

The box I received had a nice variety of snacks to try. The tea cup included is so cute and really great quality. I was excited to read all of the information in the accompanying booklet describing the snacks and traditions around them.
