Ordered several plants total value £105.00 several weeks ago. Ordered only what was supposedly in stock. Plants all came in dribs and drabs and none within the time scale that’s stated. Eventually sent an email as still had three plants outstanding. Received a generic reply asking for my patience but never reply regarding my order. Two of the three outstanding plants arrived. The salvia had only dead leaves on it but l have planted it in the hope it will revive. One plant still hasn’t arrived and to be honest l have given up. Please be aware when ordering.

This company oozes self satisfaction but rarely performs well in my experience, this time taking weeks to send some hyacinth bulbs

I recently received a long over due bulb order. The Lent Lily bulbs were a huge disappointment being small, soft, and below the standard I would expect. I was also delivered less than ordered, expecting 120 good bulbs and receiving 102 poor quality specimens . Disappointed to say the least.

Received sub-par plants recently. Virtually half of the pastel cosmos collection were practically dead. A further order was not delivered on the specified date by your delivery company, Yodel. Standards have dropped significantly. Poor show.

Expensive plants very badly packaged. Instructions to carrier re live plants please keep upright, obviously ignored. Three hardy geranium plug plants arrived potted into larger pots but without proper root systems. What I received was a box with three empty pots, a bit of completely dry compost and three straggly little plants desperate for a drink. I am hoping they survive but they don't look happy. Last week I bought three trailing pelargoniums at Lidl, for £5.97. They not only look very robust and have a good root system, they bear a remarkable resemblance to 'Lord Bute' which Sarah Raven sells for £17.95 per three - plus £4.95 p&p. Go figure!

Ordered a potted cyclamen for Christmas. It arrived two weeks earlier than advertised, and the plants are not thriving. 2 out of 3 so poor that I’ve thrown them away. No aftercare instructions and when I looked online I see you should water from below. Impossible when the plants are crammed into a solid planter bowl. These were expensive and I’m very disappointed

Took 14 days for my seeds to arrive. The order confirmation said despatched in 2 days. Also astrantia pack was sold as 25 seeds only 12 in. I gave 2 stars as they did fully reimburse me. I will use my garden centre next time.

I bought the argyanthemum and artemesia collection. The first ‘mums’ died, they weren’t even rooted and you replaced. The second lot are now all fading, the flowers are getting smaller and the leaves turning yellow spreading from the tips. So much for lasting the summer! They have been well looked after so this is very disappointing. The ‘restful collection’ is lovely and thriving.

I bought various vegetable seedlings this year from Sarah Raven. Dispatch was expected in a week, but it took two weeks each time. Unfortunately the company uses Royal Mail, which in my experience is not good enough for live plants. When my plants were lost, they wouldn't offer a refund until they were actually delivered. When they were finally delivered they were dead; I asked for a refund and instead was sent more seedlings. Overall a tiring experience. The slow dispatch reduces the convenience of delivery over visiting a gardening centre.

What has happened to Sarah Raven? Ordered an extra artificial candle. Last years classy and realistic. This years version plasticky nasty and cheap looking. If you have changed supplier please change back!

No issue with plants or seeds, have been using this company for many years but the "new" website is absolutely awful. Only 12 items can be viewed at a time, doesn't seem to be any order to it either. Doubt I'll use again

A very disappointing experience for my latest order. The only half decent plants were 3 bare rooted roses and the lily bulbs looked ok. However the snowdrops were dry and half dead, the geranium, was so small, at £9.95 hardly good value, whilst the thalictrum was not only damaged by frost, it was damaged by poor packaging too. It is still currently sitting on a windowsill trying to recover. No response from them either when I complained. Nothing like the glorious specimens in the catalogue. I certainly won't be shopping with this firm again. Definitely gone down hill.

All too often there are severe delays in orders. So I get a sweet pea root trainer kit but no sweet pea seeds. All ordered at the same time and shown as in stock. Same with jute netting for sweet pea iron frame which suddenly disappeared from order and now shows as unavailable. Living off the Sarah Raven name but very mediocre customer service especially given price points of products.

Seeds I bought didn't germinate and the very recent batch of plants arrived over-watered and 1 packet were completely dead the Verbena. The phlox were in poor condition also, 2 out of 6 were dead. I should have just gone to my local garden centre !
