“Package arrived very quickly and loading Windows 7 was also straightforward. PC is very quiet and compact. Seems well made. Not as quick as I would have expected but early days yet.”

“I was a bit sceptic about the website when I first seen it. However, it turned out to be fully legit. And the service was fantastic. The product... : exactly as was described. And the price was incredible, when compared to the rest of the market for the exact same ultrabook. Great website.”

“The sleeve is pretty good, although you can't charge the device whilst it is fully in the sleeve. Not a problem though. However, the protective film, as per usual, is awful. Maybe it's me not placing it correctly, but I soon took it off as I couldn't use the tablet with it on, All in all, pleased.”

“I bought an ASUS laptop through the web page. I had a query about the content and so I called the support desk, where the call was answered quickly and accurately, even though the person fielding the call had to ask for assistance. The PC was scheduled to arrive the next day, but they could not specify a time. My disappointment became amazement when it arrived at around 07:00, which was great. Horror of horrors, when I booted up, it had a defective screen. I called the help desk and they were really helpful, guiding me through the RMA process. Once I returned the PC, there was a wait whilst they diagnosed and checked, but they sent a replacement without debate or bureaucratic delay. Bottom line - decent company, helpful staff, very speedy delivery, quick to react to faults, quick to complete and finish. I'd have no problem going back again.”

“Graphics - excellent, doesn't struggle with the most demanding games. Sound - again excellent, good bass and overall volume Chassis - susrprisingly doesn't seem to scratch much or get covered in smears and fingerprints. I've had some envious comments about how good it looks, very "stealth fighter". Keyboard - responsive and well lit Storage - perfect, partitioned into 3 and plenty of it. Processor - handles anything with ease Fans (very important) - even while converting video, the two exhausts hardly make a sound. Very, very quiet indeed. Criticisms though - Battery - failed after only 6 months, has to remain plugged in. Only ever reached 87% charge out of the box. Weight - a hefty 5kg or thereabouts but then I knew that before purchasing. ASUS software - ASUS Update keeps popping up if I'm starting a game and, despite my best efforts, I've been unable to shut it down completely. Would I buy one of these again? Definitely. Way better than the previous two overpriced and very noisy Sony Vaios I purchased. Overall”

“Have been purchasing PC's and laptops from Saveonlaptops / Box.co.uk for over 2 years now. There pricing is competitive, range is good and their website is easy and quick to navigate. I always found their delivery quick as they usually use DPD 3 things that annoy me slightly however - 1. as we are a company buying ex-VAT, I have to either call or email their team to raise a pro-forma for me as one cannot purchase direct through the basket ex-VAT. No 2, their credit card surcharges are an annoyance and they won't accept an Irish Visa Debit card as being a Debit Card, instead as a Credit Card (Debit cards have a lower surcharge on their site). No 3. Discounts on bulk purchases are not available even when spending a few £1000 / annum with them. They claim this is down to tiny margins yet the price of a given product can change up or down £50 within a week. Also, there sister sites sell the same products at a higher rate”

“I was pleased with the information provided and the choice of laptops. The ordering process was straightforward and, within 24 hours, I had taken delivery of the laptop. This review would have been given a five-star review were it not for a sting in the tail of the ordering - when it came to making payment I was hit with a charge for using my credit card. The price quoted is not what you will pay - you have been warned. Anyway, even with the surcharge the price was still better than anywhere else I had looked.”

“Ordered and received the Toshiba satellite pro 850 very quickly. The price was very good especially with the Ram updated to 8. Very glad that i have the Windows 7 pro, better for me than windows 8. Could do with a back lit keyboard next time. very happy”

“Very good ordering service that allowed the tablet I ordered to be picked up from a local store. The delivery charge was very reasonable and Save on Laptops informed me of the delivery date and when it had arrived for collection. No problems at all did exactly what they said they would do.”

“A nice machine. Not too impressed with Windows 8. Microsoft's continued annoying pop-up sales pitches have ensured I will buy an Apple next time. Lightweight and nicely portable. My usage is very basic, mostly Internet and Word. No Office software apart from a trial, but the machine was only £330. The delivery was very quick. A text message rather than email would have been preferred. Asda should be removed as a possible collection point, the HP nearly went back, before I even knew I had it. All in all, had the thing 6 months and it has never crashed or played up, much the same as my previous HP / Compaq machines.”

“Very good laptop, can run a lot of graphic intensive games compared to my old on. Only issue is that it has a tendency to be stuck on the black screen when your pc sleeps and not be able to get out of it, although this is if you let your screen dim too many times after inactivity. This has happened a few times since I bought this laptop 5 months ago.”
