Customer service is the most incompetent and inefficient I've ever met. I have been trying to transfer gas and electricity from my previous house for over four months. Over 20 phone calls, emails. chats nothing happend. They messed up my online account, without acces to my account I have no bills, I can't pay. I'm warning you if you want have just problems and waste your time choose Scottish Power.

Scottish power would not send someone to read my meter .I could not give them a reading as my meter was situated to high and had a cracked and I am disabled glass so could not read it ...after 100s of phone calls and emails to resolve this still they did not send anyone to sirt this out.so I carried on paying estimated Bill's for over 2 years ...finally they gave me a smart meter but then decided to estimate what i should have paid the previous 2 years .under the guidelines nobody should pay estimated Bill's over 12 months old .this is the worst energy company ever.no customer service at all.full of fraud .I've now left this despicable company and recommend that you avoid this company like the plague

It is impossible to get this appallingly incompetent company to understand simple English. I have had an electricity meter since 2011. The serial number in the SP database is now wrong (I don't have three days to explain how or why...) I cannot therefore enter meter readings because the 'system' will not accept these readings as the meter number is wrong. Can I get the serial number changed? No, not a hope. Every Customer Service Adviser treats the issue as a new problem, goes off-line and is never heard of again. I have to repeat the process ad infinitum. They would have to work hard to reach the level of abysmal.

No issues until I tried to switch to another company and then they tried to block it. No valid reason for doing so and they were obliged to allow it. However they are being less than honest in sorting the matter out - they are obliged to automatically pay compensation by the ombudsman when they make these mistakes but they're trying to dodge it. They pretend they don't receive email responses etc so I replicate each action via their online complaints form. Not impressed and unlikely to return to them in the future even if their prices were to be slightly lower than competitors in a quote.

Run away like a nun avoiding brothels. Appalling. It's almost unbelievable how bad they have been. Moved into a new property Sept 2020 which they provided for. Took innumerable frustrating phone calls for months to sort out issues including: - finding our house and meters (5 months to solve) - changing the postcode which they had down as incorrect - getting set up as a new register 3 times - disconnected (several times suspiciously when they struggled to find the house) 5 times Finally, in June have had a welcome pack and initial.bill that was due a week before we even received the letter. This was also using the wrong postcode I informed them off 3 times with my name spelt wrong with the wrong pronoun!!! Every time I called it took hours on hold going through several departments to the most dodgy sounding call centre with awful service. Run away like a nun avoiding brothels.

I was with Tonika energy before being auotomatically placed with Scottish power having never being in debt with any of my old suppliers all of a sudden i'm in debt....My experience with Scottish power is pretty much mirrored by all the reviews THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST SUPPLYER ON THE PLANET AVOID AT ALL COST.

If I could leave a zero that would be better. We moved to Scottish Power in a previous house & had wonderful customer service and everything was great. Moved to our new house last year & that's when it all fell apart (never again will I use them). Their customer service has gone down hill & my first complaint was before COVID so that is a poor excuse. They failed to correct a meter reading I told them was incorrect & 13 months later £2500 later and numerous calls & the ombudsmen it's been dealt with & I'm not even sure that's right. If anyone else complains hold out as the compensation is rubbish & so is the customer service still.

*** AVOID AT ALL COSTS *** Absolutely the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Appalling customer service that just lie to get you off the phone. Bills are randomly fabricated. According to Scottish Power my 3 bedroom end of terrace use £360 of electricity a month. They are clearly taking advantage of their position. I have just switched and they presented me a final bill of £769.83. This company should not be allowed to be in business.

The most disgraceful service from any company I have ever dealt with. Left us without heating or hot water in February 2021 for 2 weeks. Multiple texts + emails + 2 X 1st class snail mail to Customer Services And the Managing Director and absolutely Zero response. Obviously now cancelling all gas, electric & maintenance contracts and advice the whole of the UK to avoid Scottish Scottish Power like the plague.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN 40 YEARS OF BEING A HOME OWNER. AFTER 6 MONTHS OF REGULAR COMPLAINTS ABOUT MY FAULTY METER & SEVERAL CALLBACKS THAT LASTED 1 RING OF THE PHONE (TO CLEAR THEIR WORKLOAD) I HAVE FINALLY DECIDED TO MOVE TO A REPUTABLE COMPANY. TRUSTPILOT HAVE OVER 800 REVIEWS FOR THIS COMPANY 97% ARE BAD WITH DAMNING FEEDBACK AND TERRIBLE HORROR STORIES OF OVERCHARGING AND APPAULING CUSTOMER SERVICE

The worst company I have ever dealt with in my life ! And I have dealt with thousands !! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!! They take money without consent. So do not allow them to set up a dd. They are hard to get hold of, they want to verbalise communication rather than put things in writing. After eventually leaving them they even tried to get more money for the final bill by making up a meter reading that was higher than the photo of the meter reading we had the insight to take on switchover day. Please learn from our horrendous experience and use OCTOPUS - who win the customer service recognition and have been brilliant so far. If I could give them Zero stars I would !!

Thiefs l was with them 16 days they come it that l owed them £176 l live in a small pensioner s bungalow one bedroom l have never used more then £40 a week they lie and steal from vulnerable people don't l repeat don't join this money grabbing company

If there is zero star ,I would give it to Scottish Power. Customer service very disrespect, I had my bank details 4 times,at the end I asked if they can send the final bill by post or email she said she can't do,and she asked again 5 times for my bank details then she hangup,I checked my bank money they took the money and when I called again yo check she wanted to take my bank details again. Bills are very expensive. They are the most difficult to deal with and they do lesson.

I’ve never dealt with a more shambolic company in my life. I was getting bills with no order. Sometimes I’d get a bill for ten days, sometimes 6 weeks, even a six month bill that I’d already been billed for. They billed me for duplicate standing charge days and it took me 2 months to speak to someone as the request I made 2 months ago for copies of my bills, they still haven’t sent them. Then the person I spoke to was so he’ll bent on proving me wrong he drive me mad. I’ve raised a complaint with resolver.

I have called ScottishPower a number of times queuing my bill since the forced migrated from ye.co.uk. I have provided reading to the best of my ability. I have spoken to a customer services representative who agreed there is an anomaly and arranged for meter readings to be taken by a ScottishPower representative I was assured once the reading was taken, which they have, I would receive a revised bill in the post. That was over a month ago. Since then, I have spoken to at least 2 other customer services representative. In each case, they could not understand why there was no record on my account of the anomaly but did politely promised to address the matter urgently. But they did NOT! My ask is clear, a full and clear breakdown of the bill with an explanation how it gone from circa £146 to well over £1k. I suspect this is a technology issue where ScottishPower have mismanaged the data migration from ye.co.uk, along with shamefully poor CRM/Support systems, processes and processes. This is a troubling and extremely distressing situation. I am still trying to get someone from Scottish power to act. Nothing but payment demands from ScottishPower! It also does not help to call ScottishPower, I need to carving out at least an hour to deal with call wait times, the call centre 0800 074 1985 does not work. And if I get an agent, they drop off calls.

Joined bulb... then got a call from scottish power giving me a better deal.. 3 months later the price of the direct debits seems to get more and more expensive... customer service absolutely ride cutting me off the phone when they put me on hold.. they are not resolving the issue .. even though the women on the phone accepting i had been MIS SOLD a product!!! They mis sold me a product have put me in a 300 pound debt ... ontop of that they are no2 charging me 112 pound a month.. bulb charged me 78 poind a month.. made the worst mistake in my life . Im a father of 2 young children under the age of 3.. they have absolutely mugged me off and their is nothing i can do.. customer rights are not considered at all .. will never reccomened.. and once i manage to get out of their crocodile bite i will never look back!!!

Avoid this scam!! bills are not clear and underestimated. Been asked to pay more and more every month and when decided to leave they took £650 from my account without warning.
