You name it,it happend,bad after sale service both from the manager of the store,the sales person and customer services department,we took delivery of our furniture in October ,17 weeks after paying in full at point of purchase, and since then we have had the upholstery technician out twice to rectify problems with the settee and have given up on the company ever addmiting that there is a problem as we have been given lame excuses each time on the telephone as well as direct communication at the store, and we are of course 100% dissatisfied with the outcome,would we recommend SCS ? most definitely not ! do we regret ever shopping at SCS yes, and so we will give SCS a very wide berth when we want to make future furniture purchases !, the two delivery men gave excellent service of which we gave a 5* on the delivery survey.

Ordered sofa, chair & carpet & arranged for carpet to be laid before sofa was delivered. Rang to ask if fitting of carpet was arranged as had heard nothing, to be told they hadn’t ordered it. This then put me in the position of being told the delivery of sofa would be pushed back as ‘I wanted carpet laid first’. As I had now been without a carpet or sofa in my lounge for nearly two months I agreed to have the sofa delivered. On the day of the carpet fitting had a text from fitter to say everything should be removed from room. As I live in a flat nowhere to put sofa. He refused to come, calling me ‘mate’ & to sort it with scs. I then went to store & the manager offered me £120 if I had the carpet delivered & got it fitted myself, which I agreed to. I also cancelled the warranty on sofa which was £200 & although I received a email from warranty co I have never had the £200 refunded to me after extensive phone calls, letters & emails to scs, which have never been replied to. The £120 also never materialised so I refused delivery of carpet. Since then I have been bombarded with phone calls, saying my carpet is ready to be fitted & that I broke the contract by not accepting it but they broke the contract by not ordering it in the first place. I have since had a carpet fitted by someone else who had no problem moving sofa around. I have ended up with no carpet & lost £860 over this fiasco & will NEVER use scs again. Very unprofessional, & don’t care about their customers concerns. NO STARS

Avoid scs mostly carpets . They have completely disorganized me and my family . I ordered a costly underlay and they thought i wasnt worth it and brought in a cheaoer one saying the ither was discontinued. Only ti be told it was still in supply after they fitted the carpet . The carpet is literally coming off the stairs and has masdice humps and bumps . I have phoned them nineeous times and no solution . I walked in to the store ahreed with one if the managers for the carper to ne regixed with my original underlay because the money was paid for it . He understood and instead offered a refund which will come off on the end . This leaves me misunderstood ,with unfixed carpet and a horrible reception . Am gutted to spend 1500 on nothing really . Do not use Scs.

Avoid SCS at all costs!!! Lies upon lies. Awful customer service, rude and inept. Resolution appalling, still waiting for carpet! Please read and avoid, I wish I’d seen these reviews before using.

Like one of the reviews posted I too wish I could give zero stars, a minus rating would be too good for this outfit, ordered 2 leather sofa's only to find out they are not 100 % leather so cancelled, ordered some vinyl for dining room to be fitted in September then got email to say they couldn't supply until January ffs so cancelled, ordered carpet for living room at same time as vinyl, had it fitted as couldn't cancel and the Fitter cut it wonky where it joins the vinyl, I've got a different carpet company to come and put it right because I didn't want that Fitter in my home again.....I just wish I'd looked at reviews before walking into that shop. Absolutely shocking outfit.

Avoid this company ordered multi items to be delivered by a set date, no communication of delays. No contact details on invoice and once contacted call center where informed would be extra month for delivery "not garenteed" There is no way of direct contact with the store. Even with delays order's should not take 3 months for delivery. Recommend any orders placed should be placed with your own dates. Very unhappy with service. Understand why big deposits are needed to tie you down. Bring back good customer service

Faulty carpet fitted still waitin 3 months down the line for new carpet to be fitted no communication from scs just email stating after Xmas they will be in touch very disappointed never use scs again

Rubbish company do not recommend . They fitted my whole house with a wrong cheaper underlay and still charging me for the more expensive underlay. When i asked them to fit my correct underlay they refused and wanted just to stretch the carpet because it looked really bad with humps. Who pays so much to be treated like this .

Do not use SCS. I have had countless issues with communication, incorrect information, late arrivals, late fitting, damages to skirting boards during fitting and despite several phone calls and emails all reassuring that it would be fixed or sorted out - nothing has come out of it Endless issues with this company - stay clear…

I also would give no stars if possible, ordered a two seater and a chair august was told November delivery this was cancelled blaming covid, then got 4 different dates last one January 22 I cancelled and got my money back. I wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole pack of con artists

Ordered carpet & sofa at the end of September 2021 , was assured the items we ordered were GUARANTEED before Christmas. We were informed late November our carpet wasn’t available until some time in January , went into the branch to choose a different one (limited choice). We have just been informed sofa is now January !! Avoid this company , they take your money upfront then let you down , total disgrace , wished I had paid more and gone to a trustworthy company.

I would give no stars if possible. We ordered a sofa bed the delivery was due November, we got a phone call in November saying December which if fine. I got a phone call today saying I had to pay the balance as delivery was in a few days and was told it had to be paid by 4pm so we rang and paid. Then I got a text at 4.05pm saying the delivery had been cancelled and no date is available that they would be in touch when one is. My partner phoned and was told it’s not their department and the phone went dead after being on hold for an hour. So basically they got us to pay before telling us it wouldn’t be delivered. We chose that one because delivery was in time for Christmas but now it’s not! They were quite happy to scam the money off us first though. Stay clear, there are plenty of decent sofa companies this isn’t one.

Terrible service.Brought and paid for carpet early September.Now I have had 3 fitting dates no phones and no ones turned up.Carpet still not fitted claiming money back as I have now lost 3 days worth of earnings waiting in for fitter.being self employed I can't afford losing more money.

very very important ,all sale man and women who are very very Ricky. delivery time very very high minimum 4month. very very important sign the documents , they does not show you where you sign. if you sign you you can not come out or cancel.

They have got a one star as I cannot give them a no star! Ordered 2x two-seater sofas from their website in April 2021 and was told it could take up to 12 weeks to be delivered. The sofas arrived in July and were completely the wrong colour! After lots of emails and phone calls back and forth, they sent through a swatch for me to check against the sofas I had received, saying that this is what I should have got. The swatch was the same as our received sofas, and so was the wrong colour. I rang them to explain and they then decided to send another swatch - exactly the same! Eventually, the manager of the online store admitted that we had received the wrong sofas, as I had sent through photos from their website and photos of our received sofas at the beginning of the dispute and he "finally" relented. he said he would get us the correct ones manufactured, this was in August 2021. I called the manager back the following day to confirm we ordered solid back and not scatter back, to receive an automated response stating that he no longer worked for the company!! There lies a story!!!! We have just had the delivery for our new sofas turn up this morning (Saturday 11 Dec 21), and guess what, they are exactly the same bloody colour as the sofas that we wrongly received in the first place back in July! Judging by the time it takes to manufacture, and given that I cannot call them until Monday 13th, I estimate that I should receive my "correct" sofas (if they get it right 3rd time) sometime in May 22 - over a year later! This is absolutely disgraceful! I am currently writing an email to my local Citizens Advice to see if I can receive some form of compensation, and will never ever use this terrible company again.

£6000 Worth of Lazyboy sofas delivered almost two weeks ago. Foot on one was broken, so cannot sit on that part of the sofa. Was told replacement had been ordered on 30 November This is seemingly a lie as we are now told it was ordered on 5 December. Company are long on apology and short on actually doing anything. Going back to shop is useless git sarcastically sneered at and then given a tatty bit of paper with some phone numbers on it, and told to speak to " aftersales care". Having made a lucrative sale, shop aren't interested.

Ordered a sofa June was promised it in October, got an email to say it was pushed back 3 weeks, then 3 weeks later got an email again saying it will be February, asked for a refund and canceled order now been waiting a month for a refund and keep getting fobbed off, pathetic company to deal with !!! I just want to tell literally everybody about what happened with SCS, it’s clear now why they have removed all methods to be able to right a review! I’m actually tramatised from it all to be honest. 1. We were sold sofas which were too big for our room, the salesmen seen our ‘blue prints’ and measured up totally wrong. 2. Due to the previous point, this caused our sofa order to be completely changed and delayed getting our sofa by over 12 weeks. 3. They tried to charge us extra for our carpets, and even rang me months after we ordered it to ask what colour we ordered as they had ‘no record’ we ordered our carpet (despite putting a deposit down) 4. The carpet was delayed 5 weeks, I’m in a new build house with absolutely no flooring. 5. On the day the carpets were due to be fitted we were told the fitters are to be paid £196 for fitting costs. we were told when we purchased the carpet fitting was included and it was NOT made clear that we would have more to pay on the fitting day. 6. Finally felt as I was getting somewhere with a fitting appointment booked, I left work early to let the fitters in, to get a message saying they were running an hour late. Not the end of the world I suppose, however as time went on they just didn’t show up at all. I messaged, rang, nothing. Didn’t hear a single thing until 4pm where they rang back and said that they we at another house longer than planned as well as using traffic as an excuse all day and they weren’t going to make it, they told me this 2 hours after they were due to show up. 7. Due to the fitters not showing up, we had nowhere to sleep, all our beds/furniture/clothing was piled up in rooms/areas which weren’t getting carpeted. We couldn’t even use our kitchen or bathroom because they was full of furniture from around the house that was to be carpeted. 8. Now our sofas were due to arrive the day after our fitting, but because our fitting didn’t go ahead we had NO ROOM to put the new sofas getting delivered. 9. The temporary sofa SCS provided us due to ours being so delayed, I was told will be taken away when our sofa is delivered. However when they came to drop off our sofa they advised they had ‘no record’ of us ever getting the temporary sofa and nearly refused to take it away. 10. They left the house without putting the doors back on, my friend is a joiner and came to put the door on and the door is now extremely stiff and not closing easily which will result in the hinge or the door frame getting damaged it is that tight. Plus it is not my job to have to put these doors back on when we were not the ones to take them off! 11. They owed us change, said they were going to the van to get it and just drive off! 12. Now I cannot get in touch with anybody at SCS about my complaint and my emails are getting ignored. I cannot believe a company as big as SCS has treat us this way and made so many mistakes, to drive me to tears the day the fitters didn’t arrive. I lost time at work that day fitters were meant to arrive as well as had nowhere to sleep in my own home.

Ordered carpet early September.told be fitted 5 November.not fitted.then told 30 November no one phoned or turned up.now lost 2 days wages waiting for carpet fitting.
