“During the procedure of buying my car from SG Petch, I feel that information was mis-communicated between departments. I was told I had an appointment at a certain time and when I went for that appointment it was the wrong time then I found out it wasn't even me that had the appointment. I was also told that the cheque used to buy the car had cleared and I could arrange to pick it up. After I'd organised a day and time to pick it up and rang my insurance company to change the insurance I had a phone call to say I couldn't have the car as the cheque had not cleared. Also I was also told when I picked the car up, a follow up telephone call would be made to check everything was ok. I am still waiting for that phone call 5 weeks later. I actually love the car but would say that this should have been an exciting and enjoyable experience but I found it very stressful and a let down.”

“Negotiating the price of my new car took some time, probably because the salesman had to check every price offered with his manager first. In spite of that I eventually got the deal I wanted and was very happy with the outcome.”

“Alan Copeland was a lovely salesman and could not do enough for us. Even though we had a slight problem with the manager ordering us the wrong colour car, it was quickly rectified and we are getting used to our new car.”

“I am delighted with the car. However, there were a couple of issues which needed addressing, and highlighted that on occasions your attention to detail faltered. I am still not in receipt of the documents from the DVLA, so I cannot give you a final review of my purchase.”

“Very friendly staff and happy to help with my car purchase. However sold me a used car with faulty clutch cable and after 5 days car had to be returned for repair. This fault should have been adressed when car was put up for sale. The fault was rectified immediately but am not sure i would be confident to use them again.”

“I recently bought a car from SG Petch, was looked after by Sarah, who was friendly and helpful, a couple of queries we had, were rectified very quickly, for example there was no manual in the car, but Sarah got this located, and we were promised a full tank of fuel, when we realised it was only half full we brought this to Sarah’s attention and got the car filled up straight away, good service and I am quite happy with my new car”
