“Car was booked in for work as part of a recall - I told the team when I booked it in that there was a problem with the exhaust - they said that they would 'have a look'. After the work - I was told that I would have to book the car in for work to be done. I then booked the car in for a Service and asked them to work on the exhaust - was told on the day that I would have to book the car in for a specific appointment to have the work done on the exhaust. Trying to book a date with the Servicing department - all phones lead to reception by the way despite you having 'options' to select from when you get through on the phone - I was told that I would be 'called back'. No returned call, had to speak to reception again today - told that the message would be passed again. Getting VERY frustrated with this poor level of service - having been a Hyundai owner for over 10 years, I'll now be looking at anything other than something from SG Petch.”

“This is my 2nd purchase. Very excellent service l received from the time l walked in through the doors to when l collected my car keys. Staff very friendly. Sales advisor James, was extremely helpful, professional and easy to talk to, there was no pressure put on me, everything was explained in layman’s terms. I am happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend SG Petch.”

“I’m happy with the car I bought and the service was good. I was given two years warranty, free breakdown cover and a free MOT voucher, however there were a few things which could have been better. Initially, when I viewed the car, I asked about the road tax as this was an important consideration. I was told it was £30 per year. On the day I was due to collect the car, I had a call to say it was £155 per year. There was no acknowledgement that the mistake was on their part, only a change in the regulations. To compensate, they put £25 petrol in the car. There was a little bit of damage to the car - a chip on the front and on the edge of the passenger door which I was told would be repaired. It was 7 days before I could collect the car and when I did, the door damage hadn’t been repaired. The car was taken to touch up and was returned within five minutes. It wasn’t repaired or retouched to the standard I expected. Most disappointing of all, I phoned the day after collecting the car to say I was unhappy with the repair and was told they would look into it and call me back. The call never came.”

“Most stress free car purchase ever. From the initial enquiry Ricky was most helpful in organising the test drive and then on collection of new car nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was first class. Thanks again Ricky for the follow up call after the weekend it’s much appreciated, this is how customer service should be 😀”
