“I changed my vehicle at no cost and the exchange was dealt with in a fast and efficient manner. The salesman was very helpful and no pressure was put on me to make a decision. The vehicle did develop a fault after a few days however but the garage dealt with it via the warranty, picking the car up from my home, replacing the parts and returning my car home. Very good service!”

“David at SG Petch was great to deal with. I'd been putting off buying a new to me second hand car due to pushy sales people. He wasn't pushy and allowed us to browse uninterrupted and take the car out for a test drive on Saturday and Sunday.”

“Callum Batkin was the sales executive that I dealt with at Middlesbrough TS6 6TT. He was very patient with all of my queries and wasn't pushy with sales pitches (unlike other dealers I went to). Fab experience. 😃👍”

“I went to SG Petch to look foe second hand car and had read some good reviews. Due to the traffic I was late for my appointment, so the salesman was busy with another client, up stepped a salesman from the Mazda side who was very good. In fact he made me a good deal on a new Seat and part ex, that I bought New instead of second hand. His name was Simon Danks,he was cheerful and more than helpful, a credit to SG Petch.”

“Basically, everything went really well with our purchase of the MX5. Roger was very approachable, friendly, helpful, informative and not at all "pushy." In fairness it was a very easy sale, as it was exactly the car we wanted, and there was no part exchange or finance involved, but everything did go very smoothly with clarity at every stage. Just one thing - we were surprised to find as we drove off that the instruments indicated that there were only 6 miles left before a fill up was needed, and we wondered what the £16.67 fuel charge on the bill covered, but otherwise we were very happy with the efficiency of every aspect of our purchase. The car, incidentally, is brilliant!”

“Started with looking at their website which I found detailed and friendly to move around. I listed three cars I was interested in in preference order and went up to the showroom where I found them no problem. The salesman, Ryan Robertson, was patient and knowledgeable and a great help. I ended up buying my first choice and the paperwork side of the sale went without hitch. Collection day again went without any hitch and I drove away very happy. All in all a good experience.”

“Car was booked in for work as part of a recall - I told the team when I booked it in that there was a problem with the exhaust - they said that they would 'have a look'. After the work - I was told that I would have to book the car in for work to be done. I then booked the car in for a Service and asked them to work on the exhaust - was told on the day that I would have to book the car in for a specific appointment to have the work done on the exhaust. Trying to book a date with the Servicing department - all phones lead to reception by the way despite you having 'options' to select from when you get through on the phone - I was told that I would be 'called back'. No returned call, had to speak to reception again today - told that the message would be passed again. Getting VERY frustrated with this poor level of service - having been a Hyundai owner for over 10 years, I'll now be looking at anything other than something from SG Petch.”

“This is my 2nd purchase. Very excellent service l received from the time l walked in through the doors to when l collected my car keys. Staff very friendly. Sales advisor James, was extremely helpful, professional and easy to talk to, there was no pressure put on me, everything was explained in layman’s terms. I am happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend SG Petch.”

“I’m happy with the car I bought and the service was good. I was given two years warranty, free breakdown cover and a free MOT voucher, however there were a few things which could have been better. Initially, when I viewed the car, I asked about the road tax as this was an important consideration. I was told it was £30 per year. On the day I was due to collect the car, I had a call to say it was £155 per year. There was no acknowledgement that the mistake was on their part, only a change in the regulations. To compensate, they put £25 petrol in the car. There was a little bit of damage to the car - a chip on the front and on the edge of the passenger door which I was told would be repaired. It was 7 days before I could collect the car and when I did, the door damage hadn’t been repaired. The car was taken to touch up and was returned within five minutes. It wasn’t repaired or retouched to the standard I expected. Most disappointing of all, I phoned the day after collecting the car to say I was unhappy with the repair and was told they would look into it and call me back. The call never came.”
