“Due to current circumstances surrounding the Covid 19 pandemic the hand over was rushed, as the garage had to close that day (24/03/20). Unfortunately they were unable to wash, or clean the car, inside or out, prior to handover, nor was the salesman able to run through the upgrades made to the new Juke, which from previous experience I know is normal practice. However, I was trading in a Juke, so was familiar with the vehicle & am able to check on any upgrades in the handbook provided. Otherwise Robert, was extremely helpful & told me that if I had any queries/problems he could be contacted on his mobile for advice/help. My overall experience was pleasant & stress free.”

“Salesman Reg was good, after sales team rubbish. About a week or so after purchasing our sportage there appeared to be a slight knocking coming from under the car, I was told it might be an anti roll joint that's worn by a local mechanic, the car was booked in to have a tow bar fitted because sg petch told us they don't fit towbars, while the car was in the fitting bay I asked the fitter if he would have a quick look (nothing visable could be seen), I then a few days later booked it into sg petchs workshop for examination, to be informed it was the tow bar causing the knocking, we explained it could not possibly be the towbar as it made the noise prior to it being fitted, to which the reply was well we will take your towbar off for a fee of £250 to eliminate this as a cause, we repeated that the noise was apperrent before the towbar was fitted this fell on deaf ears and then was told we should have let them fit the towbar, they told us when we bought the car sorry we don't fit towbars, round and round we went until we just came away with the car and the noise grrr”

“I ordered my car in early march and arranged for it to be collected on 21.03.20. This was as the lockdown was starting but managed to pick the car up. Thomasz who had sold me the car went through all the controls very thoroughly to make sure I was happy as I had not had an automatic car before. He also covered all the aspects of the finance and arranged for the fitting of new car mats whilst I dealt with the paperwork. Everything was dealt with in a friendly and professional manner. We had received all the necessary documents so I could arrange for the change of insurance to the new car. I could not have asked for a better experience.”

“I recently bought my new car from SG PETCH in Middlesbrough skippers lane. I totally recommend Speaking to Tony Hill, he’s the best Salesman I’ve ever met. Tony is approachable, friendly and very helpful and willing to spend to time with you to find the right car and deal that’s best for you. Myself and the majority of my family have bought cars from him 10/10 Tony the rest of the team are also very friendly / approachable great aftercare 👍😊”

“Went to look at Fiat 500 for my daughter.. Andy the sales man in the showroom was very approachable and knowledgeable on the cars.. Nothing was a problem he was very helpful and instead of purchasing a second hand we ended up with a brand new one thanks to the deal from him..”

“I have used SG Petch for a number of years now. I have always found them very helpful. As I live quite a long way from Darlington, and not able to walk around the shops (I don't like shopping anyway) it is very useful to be able to wait while my vehicle is being serviced. All the staff are helpful, friendly and willing to help.”

“The whole experience was very good and smooth, thanks chiefly to Steven Pullen. Sadly he wasn't at work when we physically took ownership of the car, and there was additional insurance we were supposed to be taking out, but nobody ever contacted us over that.”
