“I have purchased a number of items from Shackleton . All their products are of a superior quality as they should be ,when you have name associated with "the boss",Sir Ernest Shackleton. “Review of the 2025 Pilot Jacket I had been searching for a high-quality winter jacket for the past few months, primarily focusing on Canadian brands. However, one day I came across Shackleton, and it immediately caught my attention. Intrigued, I did some more research and found that most reviews were overwhelmingly positive. That gave me the confidence to go ahead and make the purchase. A week later, my jacket arrived—and wow, I was blown away. The quality and craftsmanship are truly exceptional. While I live in the southern U.S., I frequently travel to Europe during the winter months, and I believe this jacket will be perfect for those trips. One feature that particularly stood out to me was the side zipper for ventilation. I haven’t seen this in any other brand, and it’s a brilliant design choice. If it’s not too cold, you can unzip it slightly to let in some air, making it incredibly versatile. Since I haven’t tested the jacket against extreme winter conditions yet, I can’t speak to its full performance, but so far, I’m extremely impressed. For the price, it’s an excellent investment. “Have just taken delivery of a new Kaplan cap. I bought the original version when it first came out a year or two ago and it was good then. But the material and clasp at the back have been further improved. Superb product, exceptionally well designed.”

“Absolutely fantastic jacket, I watch a lot of outdoor sports & the coat is great for harsh weather conditions. The only gripe is getting the zip past the chin guard is a bit tight, but this seems to becoming easier as the jacket gets used. 10/10”

“Excellent shell. Performs as described in inclement weather, just keep in mind that this is a shell, so it's no insolated. The amount of storage, and layout, is perfect for trekking with a camera and all the necessities. The reinforced areas are highly appreciated and well placed. One note on sizing. I was on the lower end of the XL size range, but ended up going with a L. The XL likely would have worked with heavy layers, but was too large for lighter ones.”

“I do have the pleasure of owning a Hero Sweater, Portland Merino Beanie and Kaplan Compact Cap. The good quality and fine detail of the products come across immediately.
