Hi, Thanks for the suggestion we do offer it at £75 and we are always reviewing our carriage price but costs rise every year by 6-8% so even keeping it as is becomes ever more costly. We feel our prices are fair and our service is very reliable. Thanks Scout Store

“We expected that the Beavers Branding would be on the whole of the outside and Cubs on the whole of the inside but the branding is split front to back which we were rather disappointed with. This also makes the blanket quite lightweight as it’s only single thickness and not the double as we expected. Sorry.”

Hi, Thanks for the question, we don't feel it is that expensive and its comparable with most major retailers. The costs of postage go up around 6-8% every year with inflation but we haven't increased our costs for a couple of years. We do offer free delivery if the order is over £75 and we are always tracking our costs against the main retailers in the UK to make sure it is fair. Thanks Scout Store

“The sizing is all over the place. I normally buy Medium, which can be fine, but sometimes can be or too big or even too small. Recently bought a large which was too small. Seems that different items come from different suppliers, all with different sizing And please... Bring back iScout. the new range is too subtle to wear for scouting events”

Hi, Thank you for the review, we do have different suppliers and we always put the size guide in the description for each garment however it can still be slightly different much like the rest of the high street who have varying size specifications in store and across brands. Rest assured we are trying to get to standard sizes across all suppliers where we can. With I.Scout the sales dropped off significantly and the new FDL has sold so well that we felt it had come to a natural end however we always keep looking at the brand and maybe a relaunch could come along..... “The concern that I have is dealing with postage & packaging for small and light items we are still charge the normal postage. I do find a bit steep, and in the past have enquired over the phone and receive arrogant response. Recently I bought two cloth badges and it only cost you one first class stamp. We are volunteers might be an idea to a scale of postage and different ways to collect. Just a idea.”

Hi, Thank you for the review and the feedback, we are looking at introducing badge only carriage very soon to sort this problem with really small and light items. It is under development with our web team and will make sure badge only orders are charged at a much lower carriage price. We are also looking at different collection options too but we need to install an updated back end system first to integrate with 3rd party potential suppliers of this service. Thanks Scout Store

“Ordered on 4th March - Bar to the Long Service Award cloth badges - had to ring several times to check on the order after being told out of stock and possibly being revamped. Finally arrived on 17th May. Not happy at the length of time waiting for what should be a standard in stock product.”

“I found my first experience of the Scout store quite frustrating as many of the items I wanted (mostly badges) were out of stock for over a month. Unfortunately there is not a facility to pre-order on items that are currently out of stock which means you have to keep checking back on the website. If items being out of stock going to a regular thing I think it would be useful to have a pre-order function or at least an email alert system that emails a user when their selected items are in stock... Having said that; once I was able to place my order, it arrived within 3-5 working days (via a trackable courier) and was 100% correct.”

“Range of products was not as comprehensive as it could have been. Also when an item did not fit as expected I was able to return it hoping to exchange, about two and a half weeks later I hadn't receive the replacement size, a refund or any contact and the order was showing on my account as completed. So I made contact and was informed that size was out of stock and may not be back in stock for several weeks. I was then offered a refund which happened quickly, but only because I made contact...”
