“1. Why can't we order by telephone any more? Much easier for your customers. 2. When important publications are not available why is there no notification? Took forever to figure it out and needed a 'chat' to establish it. Not everyone wants to download PDFS.”

Hi, Thank you for leaving a review, we stopped telephone orders due to minimise the risk of customers card details being heard in a busy call centre environment. It is much safer to order goods online where there are layers of protection and total discretion guaranteed. We are working on a button that will email when back in stock on all goods, publications can sometimes be out of stock for a longer period due to changes required to comply with new legislation or a change in rules. If it is a significant publication we do put a notice on the item detailing how long it will take to come back in. We are also committed to the service and last year we sent out 1.3m publications free of charge to our customers across the UK. “We expected that the Beavers Branding would be on the whole of the outside and Cubs on the whole of the inside but the branding is split front to back which we were rather disappointed with. This also makes the blanket quite lightweight as it’s only single thickness and not the double as we expected. Sorry.”

“Easy to use site. Prompt delivery. Downgraded to four stars as the sizing guide could be clearer. Perhaps a guild-line age for the clothes would help those that are buying. But still a good site. :)”

Hi, Thanks for the question, we don't feel it is that expensive and its comparable with most major retailers. The costs of postage go up around 6-8% every year with inflation but we haven't increased our costs for a couple of years. We do offer free delivery if the order is over £75 and we are always tracking our costs against the main retailers in the UK to make sure it is fair. Thanks Scout Store

“The sizing is all over the place. I normally buy Medium, which can be fine, but sometimes can be or too big or even too small. Recently bought a large which was too small. Seems that different items come from different suppliers, all with different sizing And please... Bring back iScout. the new range is too subtle to wear for scouting events”

Hi, Thank you for the review, we do have different suppliers and we always put the size guide in the description for each garment however it can still be slightly different much like the rest of the high street who have varying size specifications in store and across brands. Rest assured we are trying to get to standard sizes across all suppliers where we can. With I.Scout the sales dropped off significantly and the new FDL has sold so well that we felt it had come to a natural end however we always keep looking at the brand and maybe a relaunch could come along.....
