Despite a long lead advertised on this event order, only one item came on time. The others were a fortnight behind. Delivery was awful - the box was left in my dustbin at the front of the house. It could have been removed by the binmen or stolen. No attempt was made to leave it with neighbours. At least all the clothes fit me, though the soft-shell is a close fit.

We did communicate that our orders would be 2 weeks later than expected as one of our suppliers were late delivering goods and we would like to apologise for this. Nothing you order ever fits properly as the sizing is terrible. Badges are great but postage is expensive for a couple of badges

The goods available are very good but I have to say people I have contact with are not impressed by the new miniature logo on leisure wear. Unlike the I.Scout logo which stood out and quite expressively showed you were a member of the Association.

Apart from being sent late re original supplied date and was notified that scout shops would send email when being sent out goods actually arrived before this notification. Also items loose in large box which was damaged and small items like badges that we loose could have been lost but in this case not.

My son has been lucky enough to be chosen for the World Scout Jamboree and we were encouraged to purchase extra items from the Scout Store. Having put in an order in February I was told that delivery would be towards the end of April. In March I was informed that one of the items had sold out but that the Scout Store would be sourcing additional items and was assured that I could still expect delivery at the original time. I then received an email at the beginning of May advising that my order had been delayed. It was finally delivered a week later. To 'compensate' me I was informed that I could have 15% off my next order. Bearing in mind that the only reason I shopped with Scout Store in the first place was because of the Jamboree, although this offer was appreciated, I feel that it is somewhat of an empty gesture as it is extremely unlikely I would be placing another order. I was very disappointed with the service offered.

Hi, Firstly we are sorry for the issues with the product and the delivery, our suppliers let us down and we felt it right to communicate and offer a discount on future purchases. You can use the 15% off when buying uniform too for your son or on any of our equipment ranges where its can be a substantial amount of money off. Thanks Scout Store

My order was first placed on 5th March and I have in the past few days received the final part of the order. In fact I didn’t realise I was waiting for something that turned out to be Sixer leaflets. This was the third postage for what was a relatively small order. You need to give availability dates. I had to chase the order to be told you were waiting on the badges coming in. The problem was I had to ask; I wasn’t kept up to date. Also had I known how long I would have to wait I might have cancelled the order. Overall poor service. Scout store will not be my first choice in future.

the so-called pre order for WSJ24 has been extremely poor. The order should have been available 6 months earlier, then the correct amount of each item made. There is no excuse for pre-ordered items being unavailable. Also, an email of the dispatch sent the day before arrival was different to items sent. An incredibly poor service leaving hundreds of scouts and guides disappointed. I think the quality of some items is also poor, particularly the thin almost see-through material of Leaders shirts. More focus on quality, value and ethical sourcing over profit needed. Scouting should lead the way and not make profit on items of uniform

Hi, Firstly apologies that we have disappointed you with your WSJ19 order, we couldn't offer the items any sooner than we could as the products go through UK contingent team for the kit approval and we can't design any optional kit until the volunteer team have approved the kit design. We did have issues on our site with pre-order goods overselling and selling out and at the time contacted any customers affected. Some of the goods proved to be very popular and getting more manufactured was impossible in the tight time frames. We are very sorry this happened and we will improve on this for the next Jamboree. If you have any issues with your order please contact our customer services team they will be happy to help. We are also attending the adult weekend event in Gilwell this weekend to help with any exchanges and listen face to face with our customers. Our products are all sourced ethically and we visit our manufacturers and hold them to the highest standards , our shirts are usually very well made and on the heavy side from a material perspective. However we always take feedback on board and we will review the shirt in question. All of the profits generated go back into the Scouts and on top of that we sell goods to Districts generating circa £1m annually for local groups to help deliver scouting all over the UK. We are very proud of our contribution and our close relationships with District Scout Shops. I hope this helps explain some of the issues you have raised and again apologies you didn't have the experience we would have hoped for. Thanks Scout Store

I am still waiting for half my order and despite emailing and requesting information regarding this I have received no contact ... quite disappointed.
