“I do not recommend this moving company!!! The movers offered to set up my beds and work an extra hour for $90.00 and I agreed. When I received my statement they had charged $177.30 and said that the workers didn't have authority to offer a lower rate. I reminded SML that the workers have a fiduciary relationship with their company and that I accepted their offer in good faith. The one of the three movers also asked to be paid in cash so I went to the bank to get the cash for them. When I returned with the cash they had changed their story and said that they would be paid by the company. Overall it cost $731.00 plus $60.00 in tips to unload a 26 foot U-Haul. What a ripoff!!!”

“The crew was very nice and accommodating. However, after unloading at destination, noticed several furniture pieces that were damaged (large, deep scratch on end table and large piece (1/8" x 1/8" x 1/8") missing from leg of coffee table. Could not get pictures because did not have phone during unloading and furniture is now packed in a full 10" x 25" storage unit. May be other damaged pieces...did not have time to thoroughly inspect. Also, crew not informed of piano move even though discussed several times with office personnel. Update: A member of the SML Management reached out to me to try and remedy my concerns even though the window on claims had closed. This was certainly appreciated.”

“Laborers were social. Friendly. I felt at times i picked up slack as the stairs got the better of one if the movers and he sat for a while. Helpful in backing up my vehicle!”

“Team showed up on time. Polite and respectful. I thought they finished as they told me they did. 30 minutes early. I tipped them, they left. I find a small desk and five boxes the did not load. Had to get help to load them. Otherwise they were great!”

“The movers at both the loading in Pembroke Pines, FL and the unloading in Suffolk, VA were great. They assisted me a great deal and made my move extremely easy. I will definately use SML in any future moves.”
