“I've been traveling with you since the 90's and Smart Tours never disappoints. We have several friends who have traveled to Africa for a lot more money and none had as wonderful a tour as we did. What insight into the culture, the best hotels, the best meals, as always guides that are to the best in the industry. You simply can not beat Smart Tours.”

“This trip was the most recent of many I've taken over the years, including a Smartours trip to Peru in 2012. The most recent trip was a return to Cusco, Machu Picchu, and Lima and a totally new experience on the La Perla cruise in the Amazon. The return portions were wonderful; I enjoyed new experiences and perceptions and returns to favorite memories. The Amazon portion was what originally drew me to this tour and it was all I'd hoped for and more. Amazing sights, experiences, and adventures. The most wonderful overall memory of this trip was the enthusiasm, knowledge, and general friendliness of all the people who worked to make this trip amazing.”

“The group was the most compatible one and our tour guide, Mehmet Uzan could not have been better. He was absolutely trilingual, most knowledgeable, and kind. I have never had a better guide. Smartours is smart to have him. Turkey was wonderful and we covered a great deal of the country. The hotel in Izmir was the very best. Our driver was excellent.”

“We had a wonderful time. The weather in the end of October was perfect. Our guide was knowledgeable and easy to understand. She was very helpful when we asked about individual excursions. We really enjoyed the boat. Comfortable cabins and great food. I would recommend this trip without reservation”

“Our trip to Portugal was first rate. The tour guide was terrific. We enjoyed all the tours and thought they were well organized and thoughtfully arranged. The tour guide was sensitive to the individual needs of the travelers. I would strongly recommend this trip.”

“Around the World in 21 days! An amazing experience, every trip has some issues, this did as well, but overall amazing!! Some great tour guides, interesting sights, various foods and much patience in airports, all so very worth it! Would love to go around the world again!”
