“It should be no stars really! I have not received my order he does not answer your emails or your phone calls just goes onto voice mail DO not order from SM direct it's very doubtful you will receive your goods should not be allowed disgusting! I have lost money I can ill afford to lose especially in these times they should be ashamed!!”

“I suspect this is a scam! I ordered an item, they took my money and promised delivery within 1 to 2 days. My delivery never arrived and they do not respond to emails or messages via their website. I have now opened a dispute with PayPal and we will see if Mr Sajid Majid issues a refund.”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY WONT DELIVER. made an order online via their web on 14th May 2023, with delivery in 2-3 days. Didn't receive so contacted them and they said on phone they would dispatch. By 6th June still not received. They stopped answering the phone or responding to emails. After reading these reviews someone said to go to Ebay shop and email direct to owner Mr Sajid Majid, which i did and within minutes they issued a refund. I am just waiting for funds to be returned but Paypal confirmed its coming. SM_DIRECT@LIVE.CO.UK if that helps”

“This is my second review. Having read other reviews I too have contacted Sajid Majid via ebay. I've received a reply within 5hrs & my refund is promised by 1st June.”

“Customer service from this company is non existent!. I bought some basins from them but when they arrived they were totally the wrong size for what I needed so I sent them back. Supposed to get confirmation from them & a refund within 30 days!. 30 days have passed I've had nothing so I don't even know if they received them! Never again will I use this company.”

“I ordered 5 x 25l bags of Miracle-Gro peat free lawn dressing on 4th April. The delivery charge meant it was supposed to arrive in 1-2 working days. I still have not received my order or any confirmation that it has been dispatched. They’ve taken the money but have not replied to emails or phone messages! Appalling customer service!!”

“If you are reading this it´s because something will go wrong or something has already gone wrong. Please do not order from this company. Like most of the other reviewers here, I ordered via their website and received neither the product or any answers to my telehpne calls or emails. I follwed the advice of Cat (see an earlier review - thank you Cat) and contacted Sajid Majid (owner of the company) via Ebay and asked for my money back. The confirmation that the money will be sent back came within minutes. The money was back in my account within the date he said it would be. How the British legal framework and trading standards allows these trading practices to be able to occur for so long with so many documented problems and the subesequent wasted time, money and confidence in the trading system - is beyond me. Fortunately websites such as these exist to allow us to check traders beforehand. Something which I will remember to do next time!”

“I have not bought from this company despite spending over an hour choosing your products and trying to pay for them. Your payment page redirected me to my bank who sent me a code via my phone. Very unhappy and having read trust pilot reviews it is clear I am not alone when it comes to this company’s customer service. Glad I read reviews.”

“I have never had such an appalling on line experience. The Christmas lights I ordered never arrived. Payment was taken for them upon ordering. I’ve emailed four times, called 10 times (with no answer) and left four messages. No response! I’m now having to try and reclaim the money via my credit card. I wish I’d seen all the reviews before making my order! AVOID this despicable man/company at all costs….”

“Do not buy from this online shop. Thank you Cat who posted 8 months ago! Same issues as the majority reviewing on here - confirmation of order email but no dispatch notice, no product received, no response to email, contact form or phone messages. 3 weeks later read these reviews!! So, did as Cat said CONTACT VIA ANY PRODUCT ON SM DIRECT EBAY SHOP. I got an immediate refund! Thank you again, Cat!”

“Do not buy. Ordered over 2 weeks ago, and nothing has been despatched or shipped. Said things will be despatched within 2 working days but pretty sure I won't be receiving anything after reading these reviews. Have called them and emailed and got no response. I didn't pay through paypal so don't believe I can get my money back. Don't waste your time or money here.”

“Faulty set of Christmas lights, messaged, emailed, phoned, no response from company at all. Tried for a month to contact, eventually opened a dispute with paypal before getting a response. Posted back today but will have to swallow the postage cost I guess. Worst ever company I have dealt with. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Wish I had read reviews before ordering. There was no problem with delivery but trying to get a response to return fauly goods is a nightmare. Avoid at all costs.”
