“THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT DON'T DELIVER THE GOODS! ALMOST A MONTH AFTER ORDERING AND NO REPLY TO MY EMAILS, I AM GOING TO CLAIM BACK THROUGH MY BANK. SCAM COMPANY. AVOID.”

“Don’t waste your time or money with this lot . Probably driving around in their Mercedes today laughing at your expense. Wrong lights delivered, returned for an exchange, recorded delivery. Have proof that item was signed for from post office . Tried to contact them but nothing. Asked for a full refund but nothing .”

“This so called company must have made fortune taking people's money, with no intention of delivering any items .. There should be an investigation by the police to find out who these people are, basically they are fraudsters and will continue getting away with this scam if nothing is done.”

“I’ve just ordered Christmas lights and received an email in my junk confirming my order. When I’ve gone on to track my order they are asking me to pay customs before it can be dispatched. I’m worried this is a scam!”

“Paid extra for express postage of item not received. Provided me with a tracking number that says the item is still with the sender!!! Absolute rubbish do not use!!! AVOID THIS SELLER AT ALL COST!!!”

“Xmas lights orderered 30 Nov - system showed in stock 5% first time discount could not be applied ? Paid extra for 1-2 working day delivery No email confirmation of order and as of 12 Dec no product delivered Numerous emails / texts / voice messages sent to SM but absolutely zero response Only got through once to the SM tel number and was told the lights were on back-order (hiow can they be when they are showing as in stock?) but was told all lights had now been packed up and sent out 1st class - so should have arrived 9 Dec latest ... but guess what, we are still waiting Would recommend no one uses this company - they should be zero stars! I'm not holding out any hope here, but if goods don't arrive by tomorrow 13 Dec, I will be taking steps through my bank to recover my money and will also be reporting the company to Trading Standards”

“Wish I hadn’t bothered to order from this company. I ordered outdoor lights for Christmas 12 days ago and have heard nothing back from my email and voicemails chasing my order. Wanted the lights up last weekend but looks like they won’t be up this weekend either. Just no reply from any phone calls and emails. Would definitely not order from this site. Sorry SM Direct do better! Still waiting…”

“I have had a terrible experience with this company. I can't get a refund for the wrong item sent and then returned at a postage cost to me. Nearly two months later and nothing. They just don't respond to a procession emails. I would suggest that you avoid this company like the plague.”

“DO NOT BUT FROM THIS AWFUL FRAUDULENT COMPANY! I PLACED AN ORDER FOR SOME XMAS LIGHTS AND PAID OVER £70 FOR THEM BUT NEVER RECEIVED THE PRODUCT OR GOT REFUNDED. I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM NUMEROUS TIMES BUT GOT NO REPLY WHATSOEVER AND HAVE HAD TO RAISE A DISPUTE TO GET MY MONEY BACK. TERRIBLE RUDE OWNER RUNING A SCAM WEBSITE WHO SHOULD BE PROSECUTED”

“I never bother writing reviews usually but I felt the need to warn people not to buy from this company. I ordered from then I never had any correspondence about my order. The items never arrived after trying several times to contact them to no avail I've given up!!! Lesson learned... Read the reviews first!!!!”

“It should be no stars really! I have not received my order he does not answer your emails or your phone calls just goes onto voice mail DO not order from SM direct it's very doubtful you will receive your goods should not be allowed disgusting! I have lost money I can ill afford to lose especially in these times they should be ashamed!!”

“I suspect this is a scam! I ordered an item, they took my money and promised delivery within 1 to 2 days. My delivery never arrived and they do not respond to emails or messages via their website. I have now opened a dispute with PayPal and we will see if Mr Sajid Majid issues a refund.”

“DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY WONT DELIVER. made an order online via their web on 14th May 2023, with delivery in 2-3 days. Didn't receive so contacted them and they said on phone they would dispatch. By 6th June still not received. They stopped answering the phone or responding to emails. After reading these reviews someone said to go to Ebay shop and email direct to owner Mr Sajid Majid, which i did and within minutes they issued a refund. I am just waiting for funds to be returned but Paypal confirmed its coming. SM_DIRECT@LIVE.CO.UK if that helps”
