“Initial order was good. Unfortunately I had to return for an exchange and a month on I am still waiting. They do not answer messages, calls or emails. DO NOT shop here.”

“I sent Xmas lights back for a refund 2wks ago I have emailed them with regards to ask if they have received them and when I would expect the refund but I have never known a company that are so bloody ignorant that they can't even reply to you worse company out there I will be contacting PayPal to deal with them so please don't use them for anything”

“I’ve placed an order with this company ?! For some Xmas lights through PayPal , and have had no email to say they have been dispatched ? I’ve read these reviews and wish I hadn’t ordered from them now after reading all these negative reviews .. if I don’t receive them this week then I’ll have to contact PayPal to request refund ? I’m hoping I’ll be lucky and I get my order ..”

“Ordered Christmas Tree Lights on Thursday 10th November, received an email confirmation that it would be 1-2 working days for delivery. Received today Monday 14 November, plugged in and working perfectly with a warm white glow. Thank you”

“Ordered 1 June - as of today still not received - now saying 12 - 14 June. However, tracking no says collected on 4 June but not by Hermes as seller has advised me. Seems a bit chaotic to me.”

“First class service and great prices! I have to admit that I was a bit concerned after placing my order and then reading some of these reviews afterwards (not the best way to do things I admit 🙄). However I am pleased to say that my order arrived within 5 working days so I thought I would do the right thing and take the time to leave a review just to reassure people that this seller can actually be trusted. The only negative I would add is that they could take the time to send dispatched notifications and / or tracking numbers if applicable, but otherwise it’s all good! 👍🏻”

“If you are another customer not receiving their order from the website, search for SM Direct on eBay and contact him via a product, I received my refund within minutes! Probably worried I'd buy something cheap on there to leave bad feedback - which I would have done had he ignored me again! Its 100% feedback on there and looks like they sell a lot. Its a shame they don't treat their Web customers with the same customer service as their eBay clients. I dont believe I would have received my product or refund going by the reviews here. My emails were ignored and its been 9 days since I ordered some compost with a 3-5 working day delivery service.”

“Utter rubbish. Ordered and paid for two items, paid by Paypal, received a Paypal refund notice a few days later. No email from SMN Direct. No explanation. A pointless experience - AVOID!”

“I got my order within 5 days. You need to register your account. They did not reply to emails asking when my order would be dispatched but it stated the dispatch of my order on my online account. I know a lot of reviews said they did not get their order but I did.”

“Wish there was a no star option ! DO NOT BUY FROM This retailer should be avoided at all costs. My item has never arrived, two emails to ask fur the tracking details but got the same one line answer both times ‘sent via royal mail’ Not helpful in any way….having to go back to claim my money back through PayPal now. This Sajid Majid shouldn’t be allowed to even be trading. Wish I had read these reviews first !”

“Avoid. Payment was taken immediately and email confirmation of order was received (supposedly 3-5 day delivery) then item never arrived. Gave them the benefit of the doubt in case it was delayed due to covid but three emails over the next few months, to the address given on their email and website, received absolutely no response. A phone call was answered and led to a promise of a full refund to the original payment method but, five weeks since the phone conversation, no refund has been received.”
