I've had my power pressure cooker xl for about two years. The silicone around the lid does not create an adequate seal and steam seeps out. Even in replacing the silicone band, the seal is not adequate and the water evaporates. It has taken longer to cook a meal and requires constant supervision. This is such an inconvenience and I will be purchasing a different brand.

I was hesitant to hop on the pressure cooker band wagon, but when my husband got me the Power Pressure Cooker XL (10 quart), I soon learned that I do need a pressure cooker in my life... just not this one. I was in love at first, but after using it about 10 times, the computer for the digital display started going haywire. In a nutshell, it would revert to the rice/risotto setting every time. I kept using it, and just adjusting the time manually by cooking through 2 rice/risotto settings, or cancelling early. A couple days ago, the display stopped responding alltogether. When I plug it in, it automatically turns on "keep warm", and none of the buttons do anything. I called customer service, and the solution they offered was for me to send the unit in at my own expense, along with a $25 money order, and they would fix or replace it. I believe that a company with a good product will stand behind their product, and if your customer service and warrantee falls short, it's probably not worth replacing. I'll be buying and Insta-pot instead.

I fell for the typical TV sales pitch on this - let them talk me into some sort of coupon program which I wasted money on, and this product is, at best, average. The worst issue is that it has experienced a short at the point where the power cord connects to the cooker; some of the connection cord has melted, and I feel this is no longer safe to operate. I need to get either a replacement or a refund. On a positive note, it is a nice, large cooker - but that, I am sorry to say, is where the positive experience ends. Unlike the Instapot, it does not have a stainless steel pot; I do not like the standard cooking pot. I get a lot of information on line via YouTube, and Instapot recipes are far more common there. Some of your recipes are just plain corny (the former big time wrestler.... ?really?) and the ones that are posted by one of your spokespersons are just plain wrong. I ruined a couple of batches of hard boiled eggs trying to follow a recipe posted by the makers of the Power Pressure Cooker XL. I regret making this purchase, wasted money on it, and wish I could return it. One other positive - the Copper Chef Frying pan that was sold for $2.97 is a very nice product, but it did not justify the money I wasted on this disappointing product.

I would have given it more stars, but had to order a part for the lid. The part is the small safety valve. I paid for shipping and after 2 weeks or so, never got the part. I called and asked why. Was told they are on back order. Why was I not told this when I ordered. Or even sent a message?. But the could send this email 2 days after the order. They said it could take 6 weeks or more until they get them. I hope Eric gets to read this.

If I need replacement parts, I do NOT want to have to call and talk to someone about it to get them. I know what I need. Give me the option to order this online, where I can actually see what the item is, the price, and go from there. And then you try to hard sell me a cookbook too? Seriously? Very unprofessional. Keep with the times.

The manual that came w my cooker does not coincide w my actual cooker. There was no canning rack. Both i have to purchase separately & for the price i paid they should have been included!

About one month of using the power pressure XL the presser value broke off. I ordered a new one. It has been about 3 weeks. It's Easter weekend. They told me they wouldn't have the part for another 2 weeks.

I ordered a pressure valve on March 5th, It is now March 26th and I still have not received my pressure valve. No one has contacted me or anything. I decided to live chat an agent, they said my order should arrive to me on April 16th. Over a month after I brought this item.....

No recipes for six qt size. You have to calculate out everything that you cook. It has been used only once, yep, once! So we are unhappy that things are not more simple.

A simple part broke and instead of keeping your newer customer happy by replacing the 9.99 part free, especially knowing I was spending another 29.99 to buy something else shows what kind of company you are. If anything else breaks on this, I will buy from your direct competitor a new pressure cooker.

The only way I was able to order the part I needed was by telephone as the only thing in the part ordering link was the phone number for customer service. On the good side the person who helped me was understanding, knowledgeable and quick. Suggestion: I would like to search recipes on your website but could not find a way. Thanks.

Very disappointed that PPCXL does not carry the canning rack for 6 qt cooker any longer. Know for a fact it was available 6 months ago. Was unable to order do to difficulty with PPCXL website. Tried ordering but website said to try later. Tried several weeks to order but was unable. Now per PPCXL website one must call customer service to order parts. Customer service very unfriendly.

Loved it you can have a meal ready in no time at all. Would be happier if the part we ordered 1/31/18 would get here so we can use it again! Now it’s 04/30/18 and still don’t have the part!!!!’😡
