“I had to throw mine away after using it about a dozen times. It wouldn’t seal and the control panel stopped working. I would never buy this brand of anything again. A big waste of money!”

“Not recommended. We used ours six or seven times and then it quit powering on. I called their customer support and since it was past the 60 day warranty time frame, I should just throw it away. I'd never buy this brand again.”

“I really love pressure cooking but I can’t recommend this Power Pressure Cooker XL (ours is 10quart) brand. The first 8-10 times I used it, it was with wonderful food results. HOWEVER, it’s a challenge to clean crevices properly without unscrewing bottom. Teflon stains and wears down immediately. I enjoy the extra components that come with it but you have to stack it properly inside to store and it’s super HEAVY. Also, after about 10 uses, we could not get the unit to PRESSURIZE seal. We bought 2 more Rubber sealing rings since ours seem very loose after about 10 uses. ALSO, Pressure seal/valve Vent about never seem to hold in position in OPEN or CLOSE...just keeps spinning. I’m really wondering if we got a faulty unit.”

“The Teflon on the inner pot started coming off after the first use. I called Tri Star and they said they would send me another inner pot. That was a couple months ago. I have called a few times and all they can tell me it it is still on back order. It would seem they have no intention of doing the right thing and either replace the entire pressure cooker or get any replacement pots in. This thing is as useless as the company Tri Star is.”

“I wish there was negative stars! I bought this product with high hopes and so did 3 of my friends- all of us experienced the pressure cooker dying and not pressurizing. Called Tristar customer service and they were worthless. Told me product is so bad- they don’t manufacture it anymore. The rep tried to sell me Emeril’s products. Bought emerils air fryer and it’s great. I just want a pressure cooker. She could not even offer me a discount on the ones they are throwing away. I explained to her that amazon is still selling the pressure cooker xl and she said if it dies-it obviously will- take it up with amazon. In this day and age - customer service is imperative. Tristar is absolutely the worst at customer service. I met Emeril before in his restaurant in Miami while I was with Dan Marino and he is an amazing person. I think he would be mortified that tristar is representing his product. Very disappointing.”

“I purchased the pressure cooker less than a year ago . Used It a few times now it will not Seal in pressure . I contacted the company spoke to the representative advised them of the situation or problem with the pressure cooker . The representative suggested that I purchase a new valve for the pressure cooker at my expense of $9.99. Ok I just spent Close to $100 for the pressure cooker used it about 3 to 4 times now they’re telling me I need to purchase a valve seal in order for the pressure cooker to work . All I can say is that customer service is not what it use to be . I will not be recommending this pressure cooker to anyone nor will I be purchasing any more products from this company . They could have sent me a valve seal and from reading the reviews it seams I am not the only person have this issue.”

“I was very disappointed in this purchase. I bought one for myself and one for my sister. After only 3 uses the coating on the inside of the pot stated coming off. VERY DISTURBING. I contacted Power Pressure Cooker company and they suggested I buy a new pot. REALLY? I had it about 3 months. Why would I waist more money on a defective product?!! Let me just say I do however, love this way of cooking and will be buying an InstantPot very soon.”

“I ordered 2 10 quart pressure cookers and they charged my bank account for 3 and I have been waiting a week to get my money back......................I might have to return these 2 and buy INSTANT POT this is terrible customer service. BUYER BEWARE”

“Ordered 2 - 6 qts and found out that they were on back ordered so they were going to ship 2- 8 qts which I did not order and charged me more money. Poor communication, offering something that you don't have, then changing my order to something I didn't ordered - is very poor customer service.”
