“I purchased a pair of Danner boots in the sale from Stuarts London. Unfortunately the boots were faulty, but I didn’t realise until after 7 months. Stuarts agreed the boots were faulty and offered a credit note. They were not able to replace and would not refund in cash. I believe this is a Trading Standards issue and I was very unhappy with the offer. I wanted a pair of Danner boots, not a credit note. I would not buy from Stuarts London again. Fortunately I contacted the manufacturer Danner in the USA and they couldn’t be better to deal with. They shipped brand new replacement boots to the UK. The support from Danner was fantastic.”
