“Ordered a skincare package of 5 items, only received 3 items and the 2 most expensive items are missing! Even if i bought the 3 items I have now separately they're less than what I paid. Very sad and disappointed hope to recover my missing items as I don't think i can get a refund on skincare”

“So I ordered stuff insisted they should call before delivery. They didn’t do that twice and cancelled the order. I ordered again to do a self pick up. Pucked order up, got home and 2 products are missing and they are saying my order was complete. Just like that they’ve stolen my money and are done with me.”

“I bought perfume from Superbalist, Hugo Boss Orange and Britney Spears Fantasy set. They weren't original. The Boss Orange scent was so faint that you could hardly smell it. The Fantasy did not smell like the original that I have used in the past. Do not purchase perfume from there.”

“I would like to make people aware that superbalist sells fake perfume. Purchased hugo boss for men and has no scent they probably decant and add water or its fake from the get go. Do not purchase perfume from them!”

“I have only ever had an amazing experience with Superbalist. They are truly an excellent online retailer and 100% reliable. They deliver quickly, and if you want to return something they collect it quickly. So the negative reviews are very shocking. Don’t believe everything you read, try it for yourself and see :)”

“I bought two mirrors but only received one broken mirror. Worst part is one could hear the broken glasses in the box but the delivery guy was told to deliver anyway after he brought it to their attention. To add, the mirror was returned by somebody and sent to me, they covered the previous tag and pasted a new tag on the box, to show that it was deliberate. 2 weeks after I still haven’t had any reply on the second mirror I bought, after countless emails. I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy from superbalist unless you want to be given a run around and not having your goods that you paid for delivered.”

“I bought 2 dresses and returned it for a smaller size. I showed the courier both dresses as packaged and explained that i only tried the 1 dress hence the other 1 still sealed. A few days later Superbalist is telling me that i did not return both dresses. I will provide security video footage to the media to expose the company. I will return both dresses that i have paid for and suffer the loss. The audacity of telling your customers that they havent returned the item. Service is pathetic. Never been addressed as a thief, that being a law enforcement employee. Disgusting Superbalist!!!”

“I ordered a Timberland shoe which costs R1959.00 , the amount was deducted from my account , when I arrived at the pick up point , I opened the box which has a loose seal while inside the pick up point and found a Converse box with a used pair of Converse inside the box , I immediately called the head office and all I was told was they will escalate the matter , I refused to accept the package and left it at the pick up point after logging a return!! Now I have been robbed for my money R1959.00 and I have nothing to show for it except a few emails all saying the issue has been escalated !! Is this the way Superbalist is supposed to conduct sales and service to rob and defraud customers and more frustration occurs when they just do nothing about their pathetic service!!! I ordered the item as a gift and because of the incompetence of Superbalist I had to go to a Timberland store and buy another shoe while Superbalist has my money and just refuse to make an effort to properly solve the issue as easy as it was for them to deduct the funds from my account and send me utter rubbish!!! Beware … Don’t use Superbalist my experience with them only show me a bunch of thieves !!!!”

“I have purchased 2 pairs of Converse All Stars from Superbalist. I also have other pairs from converse and Edgar's. I have them for years, no damage except for the colour fading with occasional Washing. The 2 purchased from Superbalist don't fit like my other pairs. The material and look of it is different and how I know it's fake is because the inner linings of the show has come out. I have converse for 10 years and I use them regularly, not once have the inner lining or soles come out. My pairs are only 2 months old and they are already deteriorating. Definitely Fake, Definitely won't purchase again.”

“The Narcisso Rodriguez perfume I bought is definable fake. I bought the same perfume last year from Edgar's and it last almost the whole day. So disappointed. Now I know why your perfumes are so cheaply priced. Very very disappointed.”

“I purchased an organic face serum (Hey gorgeous banish and repair serum) , this was my second time purchasing it, but when I received it some of the serum had leaked out and the bottle was sticky and was not giving the smell it normally gives kind of an off odour. I’m not sure if the leakage caused the off smell as the product has a life span of 3 months after opening and the smell was not pleasant, I was hesitant to put it in my face. The unfortunate thing was it is non-returnable product.”

“So i bought 2 x Davidoff perfumes for myself and my wife from superbalist as they were on special for 50% off. The package came and when i opened it the mens box was sealed. The womens one had no plastic around the box and there was full fingerprints all over the bottle. My purchase for these items were R1268. When my wife sprayed her one there was no smell at all. When i opened my one and sprayed it there was a smell but lasted not even 5 mins! The smell was gone and these are designer perfumes!!! I then logged a return on the superbalist app stating that these items were not up to standard as i have the same perfume which i purchased from edgars 2 years ago and the smell lasts the whole day. My return was cancelled and i was instructed that there is no returns and refunds on these items because they were used. Firstly how do i prove that my wifes item came unsealed? Secondly how would i have known that these items would not even last 5 mins??? I have lost R1268 on a purchase which i feel is counterfeit goods. Dont ever buy perfumes from superbalist because they are scam artists who will take your hard earned money with no remorse!!!”

“Bought Converse from them 2 months ago, they began to wear out in two months although I only wore them occasionally. I don't think they sell genuine sneakers. DON'T PURCHASE SHOES FROM THEM. THEY ARE FAKE.”

“I really miss Spree... Ever since it became Superbalist.com it's been really disappointing. Not sure what the difference is. A recent example: I bought a lovely pair of slippers. Upon arrival, I find that it's two left shoes of the same slipper😕 Ive returned them... But I was quite excited for these coz they were so cute. They won't deliver to my address too. The app just won't allow me to add my address.”

“I bought a few items from Superbalist and return some, I have been asking and asking for my refund, I am told it's processed but the money isn't in my account. It's a lot of money for me and so disappointing that I am treated like a scammer when I want my refund that is due to me.”
