Horrendous experience, DO NOT USE THIS RENTAL COMPANY! Naples office SCAM COMPANY, there to solely extorte money from unsuspecting travelers. Experience from start to finish was one of a carefully manipulated scripted play that was used time and time again on anyone who had the unfortunate experience of stepping foot in their offices. Starting with refusing to use reputable credit cards stating they are not a known bank!! Simply not true. However if you pay for their extortionate 'excess' miraculously the credit card can now be used. If you dont pay you lose the car and whatever you have already spent. This cost us at ADDITIONAL 390Euro for our 15 day trip. During the 90-120 minutes in their offices, the exact same thing was happening to the people next to us with the same credit card. Another poor person had a Barclays bank credit card however this wasnt 'Embossed' so they 'couldnt' accept it UNLESS he paid an additional 200+EURO then all of a sudden they could. They told me to sign sign sign for the car however only explanation is that you are now covered for anything that happens to the car except tyres and windows. No other exceptions disclosed at this time. NOT informed that you will recieve an email with this information nor that you only have 15 minutes to respond to the email to dispute any issues with the car. Returning the car was an absolute nightmare and completley RUINED the whole holiday and is still causing panic and anxiety over a week later. RUDE, AGGRESSIVE, HOSTILE staff. All playing a part in this scheme. Starting with not letting us get everything out of the car before starting to take photos of the inside, claiming a tiny amount of sand would warrant a 500EURO cleaning fee for the car. There was no mention AT ALL about ANY other 'damages' or issues with the car. The lady would not allow us to sign the car back in as returned nor question or accept the so called 'damages'. We asked several times to sign the car in and were told to go to the minibus. I got my phone out and recorded her as we were not getting any response and to protect ourselves. She still refused to answer and walked away. My husband went to speak with another member of staff, he also recorded the event due to the abusive and misleading information recieved so far. The customer service agent blocked his exit and snatched at his phone closing the screen and thus stopping the recording. He was threatening and abusive. He got past the man who then shouted 'f!!k you, you motherf!!ker' at him. 2 other agents followed my husband outside, they shouted abuse at him and one kicked him in the back causing serious pain. I called the police at this point who failed to show up as they stated they would. We were left with no choice but to leave the car there and run to the airport as we now only had 1 hour until gate closure. Our young children witnessed all this and were distraught and scared. Another couple was also present who witnessed this and was also recieving their own abuse when returning their car. Invoice recieved once returned home stating we did not check the car in and that there was multiple DAMAGES to the outside and inside of the car. ALL fabricated LIES!!! We have photo and video evidence. Formal complaint submitted to AUTO ONE (SURPRICE) Absolute con artists who do not even aknowledge anything in the complaint just more scripted responses and absolute bull. We have also requested CCTV footage. Overall cost us over £1000 over 3 times the cost of the initial booking! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - WALK AWAY NOW AND SAVE YOURSELF HEARTACHE AND MONEY

Surprise car Sofia is not okay! We paid the rent in advance. Only had to pay the deposit. They told us that our credit card wasn't working (declined) We called our bank and the bank employee told us on the phone that the credit card was fine. (Warning) We couldn't pay cash or with my card (husband rented the car). The only solution for renting was to pay for an insurance of €300. NO WAY! We took a cab.

I am absolutely appalled by the way my family and I were treated today by Surprice Car Rental in Athens. We had booked a 9-seater Nissan Primastar from September 5th at 10:00 AM until September 13th at 7:00 AM, with one additional driver included in the booking. This trip had been planned for nearly a year, as my brother lives abroad and this was a rare opportunity for our family to come together in Greece. We were all very excited—until the experience with Surprice turned our holiday into a nightmare from the very beginning. According to the instructions provided at the time of booking, a representative was supposed to meet us at Exit 5 of the airport and take us to the shuttle service. We waited at Exit 5 as instructed, but no one showed up. We began searching the area, noticed a car park across the road with a “Car Rental A/B” sign, and walked over in the heat, hoping to find someone. When we still couldn’t locate anyone, we tried to call. When I explained that no representative was at Exit 5 as promised, the person on the phone rudely hung up on me. We then crossed the road again in the heat, searching as per their vague directions. Eventually, we discovered another nearby car park tucked beside the building, completely out of view from Exit 5. There was no way to see it from where we were instructed to wait—unless we could see through walls. Once we finally found the location, the representative still wasn’t there. We were told they had already been and left. I was told they would return in 15 minutes, but I waited 20 before calling again—only to be spoken to rudely and told that my reservation was for 2:00 PM, not 10:00 AM. This was completely false. I showed the representative my original booking confirmation, which clearly stated a 10:00 AM pickup. Even their own internal paperwork showed the same. After a 15-minute shuttle ride from the airport, we arrived at their rental office—and the situation only got worse. I had mistakenly not brought my physical driver’s licence, only a digital photo of it. I genuinely didn’t know that a digital copy would not be accepted. However, my brother, who was listed as the additional driver, had his full, valid licence with him. Despite this, the woman at the counter was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of trying to help us resolve the issue, she smirked and laughed at our situation. When I explained that my brother could be the main driver, she refused to change the booking, stating it was a “last-minute change” and therefore not possible but before she said we are too early because the booking was from 2pm! Even though the car was fully paid for, sitting there unused, and my brother had a valid licence, they refused to release the car—clearly trying to keep the money without providing any service. I became very emotional and started crying. I had spent months organizing this trip, handling all the logistics for our family, and to be treated with such cruelty and lack of empathy was devastating. Rather than helping, the woman told me not to cry and shoved a cancellation form in my face, demanding I sign it. She claimed it was the only way to get my deposit back—but I realized signing it would mean I was falsely agreeing to cancel the rental myself, effectively allowing them to keep the full rental payment and potentially re-rent the vehicle to someone else. When I questioned this and said I didn’t trust her, she told my entire family to leave the premises immediately. In summary, we were: Misled by inaccurate pickup instructions Rudeness and unprofessionalism from multiple staff members Accused of arriving too early despite clear documentation Denied service, despite having a valid driver among us Emotionally manipulated and pressured into signing misleading paperwork Threatened with the loss of our deposit Ultimately kicked out without the rental car we paid for This experience was not only frustrating but deeply upsetting. I strongly advise other travelers to think twice before booking with Surprice Rental. I will be pursuing a formal complaint and expect a full investigation into this matter, along with a complete refund for the unacceptable treatment and breach of service.

I had ordered a two luggage vehicle. A female employee at Surprice said I had ordered a smaller vehicle and that in order for me to rent from them, I would have to pay an extra €800 for the month. Otherwise, she said they would take me and my family back to the airport. I showed her the paperwork from economy booking stating that I in fact did order a two luggage vehicle. She disregarded it immediately. I have been renting a vehicle in Greece every August for the past 25 years and this is the first time that a rental company scammed me.

Shocking company - hired me a car with 4 illegal tyres. Employee at the desk told me they were fine. Customer service admitted the company was in the wrong and offered to refund the car hire. They can't even manage to get the money back into my account 60 days later. Avoid

Pick up instructions are a disaster. No one picked up on either contact number when i tried calling, eventually someone started sms'ing me only to stop and not reacting when the pick up bus still hadn't arrived and i was asking what was going on. We waited apprx 40 mins Helpful lady at the counter but the handover was also non existent. I needed to ask who to call in the event of a breakdown and was told the same numbers that didnt pick up earlier.. so was hoping like hell I'd never to call them... Save yourself the stress and pay extra for a normal professional car hire firm at the airport and not off site rubbish like this.

I’m extremely dissatisfied with Surprise car rental in Olbia, Sardinia. The staff there were arrogant, unprofessional, and openly dishonest. They told me (and others I saw at the office) that our driving licenses or credit cards were “not acceptable” for the rental—even though everything was in order. Then, they conveniently offered a “solution”: pay DOUBLE the original price to get the car anyway. It’s a scam—a clear strategy to trick travelers into paying more at the last minute when they’re stuck and desperate. I strongly recommend avoiding this company. Don’t fall into their trap. There are plenty of more honest and reliable rental services out there.

Got to the rental car place that looked like an old modular home and was told I had to pay a fee for insurance daily because mine wasn’t good enough so that cost more than I was told !! To continue on returning the car also was a disaster waiter 40 mins for the shuttle to pick us up in the pouring rain driver drove like a complete crazy person and didn’t even yield to any traffic while it was coming !! Never ever again will I come back to this company for a rental

If you book a car through Surprice, you're likely to be unpleasantly surprised. Stay away from this company. I booked a car and paid in advance. My flight to Burgas was delayed by two hours, and I informed them in advance. The car wasn’t there when I arrived. They canceled the reservation and refused to refund me. This is a scam. Be careful. I’ve reported it to my credit card company.

They put a $2000 hold on credit card because we didn't use their insurance. Waited an hour for pickup at airport after calling numerous times. Driver of shuttle was unfriendly. The office smelled like weed. Next time will go through a more known car rental place.

Scammers tried to charge me almost triple the price at the counter, claiming my non-embossed card wasn’t acceptable. The funny part is, when it came to payment, the same non-embossed card worked without any issue. I decided to take the loss and went to rent from another company instead.

OMG, I've never dealt with such a terrible rental car company as Surprice! I booked and paid for a car through Expedia for my family trip in Florida. After waiting 30 to 40 minutes for their shuttle at the airport in the heat, we finally got to the counter. The manager said I had to pay an extra $39 or $89 a day for insurance! I told him I always use my own, and he asked if I had $300k worth of coverage! I said no, and he said $100k wasn't enough. The car was probably worth $15k! I told him my insurance would cover anything, but he still said I needed their insurance. This policy wasn't written on Expedia. I already paid for the rental, and now they wanted an extra $300 for insurance I didn't need! After going back and forth, I demanded a refund and went to Enterprise, where we got great service. Surprice is a total rip-off!!

Check in took already long. But returning the car was a disaster dispite having plenty of staff to assist we had to wait in line. The clerk Elio Zoupalari is lacking the most fundamental manners and was absoluty rude in telling me stay outside close the door. Thanks but no thanks to a repeat booking

Horrible! Orlando location is not at the airport, like 15 minutes away. They FORCED us to pay fees for their insurance coverage, claiming our $100k property policy was insufficient. Not to mention the additional fees for freeway fees. Never again, was stuck with this company due to Travelocity, which we will never use again as well. This little rental car place did'nt have English speaking employees either.

I booked with Surprice Mobility as they appeared to offer the most affordable rates by far. However, my experience was anything but smooth. Upon arrival, I was informed that I needed to pay more than double the original price in additional insurance fees, otherwise, I wouldn't be allowed to rent the car. It quickly became clear that I wasn’t the only one facing this issue – during the hour I spent in the office, at least three other customers came in, all dealing with similar unexpected charges due to discrepancies. In my case, the issue revolved around my driving licence. I recently obtained a German licence after previously holding a UK licence, and the new licence didn’t indicate the original date I was licensed to drive. Despite providing proof from the DVLA website along with a photo of my old UK licence, I was told this wasn’t sufficient. At no point was it made clear what additional proof they were expecting or how I could possibly resolve the situation. Frustrated, I went to another rental company nearby, where I was informed they would have rented me a car with the documentation I had. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any vehicles available, so I was left with no other option but to accept the inflated costs. This entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, with low initial prices hiding additional mandatory fees that were only revealed upon arrival.

Everything went wrong. Worst experience of car rental I ever had in last two decades. I strongly recommend not to rent car from “SURPRICE”. Because of renting car from them, I lost my whole day of plans. Staff is RUDE, THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS AND BUSINESS. Reference: Rented car on Friday August 01, 2025. STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO RENT CAR FROM “SUR PRICE”. Zero / No Star at all. Got car after 4 hours rental Time.
