“I'm globally really happy with the material recieved. Easy to assemble and to handle. I was a bit surprise not to have any guidance for the torque to apply on the screws. Normally when you are tightening screws on carbon parts, you need to give a maximum torque in order not to break it. As it's done on the bike carbon frame. They even write the value close to the screw normally. So , if you have any guidline , I would be interested.”

“Takoon Review: Escape Air Board and Fantastic Service I'm giving Takoon a well-deserved 5-star review, primarily because of their fantastic products, like the Escape Air board, which offers incredible value and performance. This time, I purchased the Takoon Escape Air 6'0 board, having previously owned the Escape Air 6'6. I was likely one of the very first people to buy the 6'6 when it was initially launched. While I had to wait a bit for that first one, the delivery of the 6'0 from France to Germany was incredibly fast, arriving within 48 hours. I've recommended this board to many riders across Europe, and multiple people have bought it and been thrilled with the purchase. Some need a few sessions to get used to the idea, but they quickly realize an inflatable board can be fantastic for wingfoiling. I even use my Escape Air 6'0 for parawing, and it works perfectly. For riders, especially those over 90 kg like me, I suggest getting an Escape Air 6'0 or 6'6 instead of a large, rigid board. It's a perfect complement to a smaller, rigid board in the 60-70L range for when you need it. The Escape Air board is ideal for travel and performs great in spots with winds up to 20-22 knots, like Mallorca. Beyond the gear, Takoon offers great products at reasonable prices, and if something doesn't work out, returns and refunds are handled without any hassle. I do have to mention one oddity: the shipping costs. It feels like the system isn't working correctly because the shipping cost for the same order can vary depending on the order in which you add items to your cart. It's a bit strange, but it's the only issue I've run into. Takoon's customer service, especially their chat support, is fantastic. While it might take a little bit for them to respond since they're likely helping other customers, they always get back to you in a timely manner. I've been a Takoon customer for a long time, having bought my first bow kite from them around 2004. Their prices are significantly better than the competition, and IMHO their gear is superior to another very popular French brand 🔔 on the market. Keep up the great work, Takoon team! “Je paie 1229 euros pour avoir un Foil livré incomplet, il manque la front wing !!!!! si j’avais su je n’aurai pas pris mon Pumping foil chez takoon car l’objectif était de pouvoir en faire pendant mes vacances qui sont maintenant terminés. Je suis extrêmement déçu de la qualité du service client , et je ne recommande pas ce site / marque pour le respect des délais et contenu des articles à livrer”

“The 90cm feels great, light, stiff, nice deck, looks cool. One problem is white discolouration on the bottom which started after 4-5 session (fresh water), not been in the sun or heat. I’m quite disappointed with this, also concerned how much will it progress, will the board weaken? Additionally I think it could be a bit wider at the back.”
