I would like to thank Jeffrey P for his excellent help yesterday. Both my husband and l were trying unsuccessfully to get answers over a card payment. Every time we tried to explain we were redirected to another number. Jeffery P was patient and understood our frustration and went the extra mile to give us the information we needed.

Weeeeellllll...>.........I'm almost afraid to write this. Had a problem with my internet connection, I had to call three times, but the lady to whom I eventually spoke, knew her stuff, and sorted things in a quiet professional manner. Breaks my heart to say this cos I generally dislike talktalk, but this time they were brilliant, sorry.

About 3 months ago I had cancelled my landline contract due to how the pricing had jumped. However, following confirmation that my contract was being cancelled, I received a call from the retentions team, and quite frankly, they did a pretty amazing deal for me considering it is pretty much their cheapest package.

Great service. Friendly, professional and efficient. Good value for money. I love the 'Promise to Pay' option which gives the customer more control. Never had an issue with TalkTalk.

I have had nothing but excellent service from this company. If ever I have a problem I go on the chat line and explain the problem. Their agents are always polite and do their utmost to solve the problem. They have never failed me yet. What more can you ask for.

This is incompetent, I advise I'm being locked out, I receive a message telling me there is no fault, then get a message they are dealing with the issue. I've just spent 40 minutes trying to get someone to deal with the issue, who then says we will send an engineer tomorrow, I then explain I won't be here at 12 o'clock I'm away on business for the rest of the week, then get told he will be here at 3 pm, again I won't be here, I then ask how long has my contract to run, to be told it ran out in 2012, Totally useless as a company. I'm of to find a new provider.

after initial broadband issues,i was put through to 3 different people,my broadband isnt what it is meant to be(not getting the proper speed) eventually was put onto a lovely young girl called Alisha on fibre optics home,she could not have been more helpful,and noticed that my broadband was fb35 instead of fb65,so after everyone missing the problem,it takes a girl in fibre optics to notice that my broadband had been capped(that is to say capped at 35mb instean of 65mb,i dont know what talk talk are paying their so called experts,but this young girl went beyond her station to help a poor pensioner like me,i had previously been on the laptop for over 2hrs speaking to their so called experts,i was sent through to her by mistake,and she found the problem Alisha from Manchester i do hope you see this message,you are a Star!!! and what ever talk talk are paying you it,whatever it is its not enough,thank you from a very happy pensioner.please talktalk inform this girl that i have put this review on. thank you sammy mcphail.

I bought my first laptop in 2009 and booked TalkTalk to provide broadband. OK until June 2015, when I changed my e-mails from Microsoft to Google G-mail. Logged onto the TalkTalk website, but was unable to change my e-mail address on My Account. I wrote to the company, but my letter was unanswered -- and so was unable to access My Account online from then on. Their direct debit expired when I closed my prepaid Mastercard account in January. On Feb. 12, TalkTalk hadn't received their monthly £39.20, and immediately cut off my service -- so no access to the internet to e-mails. I got seriously fed-up and used a neighbour's computer to arrange a transfer to Plusnet. Got a nice letter from TalkTalk, saying how sorry they were to lose me, and my contract would end on March 11. Plusnet hooked up my broadband on March 12. Then I got a "Final Demand" for £74 from Talk Talk, which assumed I was CONTINUING to receive their service! They advised me to phone a 0345 number if I had any queries. This took me to a call-centre in India (?), at a cost of £3 a minute. The lady was polite but very slow -- and the credit ran out on my mobile phone before we could finish our conversation. Increasingly frustrated I wrote to TalkTalk's PO No. in Salford. There was no reply for a week, then I got a demand for £150 from a debt collector. I suspected I was being ripped off, but paid up. The question is -- will TalkTalk keep pretending I am a customer and continue to charge me for a service I'm not getting? They have my credit card number now, so we will just have to wait and see. I have never experienced such gross incompetence in my life!

I have had TalkTalk for years and I can honestly say that I have no serious complaints - and therefore no comments about customer services because I have very rarely needed them. Yes, at times the service seems slow or slower, but from reading other provider reviews that seems a common problem. There have been three users in this house, one who has used the service for a part-time interest in DJ'ing, one who has done extensive university work online as well as played games, and myself, an "average" user: TalkTalk has not caused us any problems with simultaneous usage. (My only trivial moan is that, whenever they offer me a new contract, it is always more than my current one (that appears to have no end date anyway!).

I recently experienced poor fibre broadband speeds recently. When I phoned Talktalk yesterday and spoke to Xolisle Technical services from the Durban call centre, after testing the line ok she was very patient and professional. She immediately diagnosed a router fault and immediately ordered a new one for delivery in 1-2 working days.Well, the new router arrived by DHL courier the next day and after this was installed , my fibre broadband speed was at once increased. I know the customer service reviews are generally poor but I cannot fault Talktalk this time. Very, very well done Talktalk. I am really most impressed.

I transferred 2 years ago to Talk Talk from BT and cannot fault them. The value for money compared to BT is fabulous and the quality of speed and service is much better than we ever had with BT. In two years only had two problems and both times the service level was exceptional. When it couldn't be fixed remotely they came out within 24 hours and gave a very comprehensive problem repair. Engineer was absolutely wonderful, very curteous, knowledgeable and professional and quickly sorted out the problem. Would not consider using any other provider.
